Day 63

I sent the Pineapple Express away to my brothers "greenhouse".

Also started sprouting the next crop.

Keep the lights on 18/6, plants use darkness to sleep and grow, you taking it away from them is harming them more than helping them

He is growing autos, technically he can run 24/0 but its unconfirmed if this actually helps or hinders with anything. But auto canna in theory does not require periods of dark to grow well

 

personally even my autos dont see more than 18 hrs, saves electricity and I feel all plants need to have some down time.

Update. 

Blue Cheese 2 is close to being done. She's got around 3% amber.

EDIT: She had her first flush 2 days ago.

She has a little extra moisture from the flush to last the 2 days. Possibly dry by then.

Have you ever tried to time it so that when you go into dark the soil is practically dry? Try get the bud to start drying a little before cutting it?

I have heard the opposite, always best to LST auto's. The higher stress training methods can at times stunt the growth of autos - such as topping or fimming.

Also best to try get the most out of the autos from the start as any time lost during veg, cannot be made up.

I don't worry myself with it too much, but I won't do it just after a water. I hang her whole anyway.

As far as training goes, LST plants enjoyed it.

I did top one of them, she was the shortest but also more dense. Shes the one in the dark now. The same strain with LST maybe has about another week to go.

From my current experience, just because one plant is taking longer to finish than the other and you just so happened to top it, does not mean she finshed quicker due to the topping.

 

I have had 1 out of my 2 Daquari Lime plants start showing pistils a good 2 or 3 weeks before the other plant, yet physical growth and size had been on par pretty much. There was a 3 day gap between the seeds germinating. So it could just be by chance.

Update Day 79

Blue Cheese 2 is now curing at a stable 62%, weighing in at 50g. She is the smallest.

Blue Cheese 1 is now cut and drying.

Mazar is still going, will post pics soon.

Blue cheese 1 dried and cured @ 80g

Last lady of this cycle is the Mazar, I have just moved her to my dark tent.

EDIT: Mazar is day 108 today.

That’s some crazy yields on a plant. I thought 75g is good but damn 90. Also beautiful and clean branches. Very impressive... wanna come clean my trees for me.

i have only hAd shit with autos but that blue cheese looks ridiculous.

my blue cheese I got from Biltong and buds from 8 seeds, 50% didn’t even pop, then 1 just died. And the rest was unstable and stunted. Didn’t see 20g of sub greenhouse bud per tree! Nogal Expert seeds. (Only expert part was me being conned into buying unstable crap)

 

anyway. Gratz on a beautiful grow. Seems I can learn a few things from you.

Yea, I've taken a liking to autos. I have 7 Cali Snow and 1 Blackberry on the way. Day 75 today for the Cali's.

Auto's need you to babysit them since they live on their own clock. I enjoy the challenge.

I have never had an issue with seeds, I used to buy Dutch passion and Barneys Farm, now with autos I get Fastbuds. Got Fastbuds from Sacred seeds and Trophy seeds with no issues and 100% germ.

I still have an assortment of photo's from different breeders that I bought from Attitude Seeds.
