  1. @BluntKnife, you can mix 1-2 tea spoons of epsom salt with 4 liter of water. I found this info on the  Royal Queen seeds website, which I think is a trustworthy source.

Of course you water your autoflower with less so you would need to amend the amount of epsom needed accordingly.

  2. Yes and yes...

Some Strains seem to hermie even when all growing parameters have met. That to me qualifies for crappy variety for example. Also some varieties just don’t have a nice terpene profile no matter what you as a grower do. But I guess taste differs from person to person.

But I think in most cases it's mostly up to the grower. It takes time to be able to 'read' your plants and each strain likes different things. Meeting your plants needs and growing with passion is getting the best out of your plants.

  3. Good to hear you got a new addition to your grow @BluntKnife. Perhaps the plants just got a bit stressed because of the move especially seeing it's an Autoflower. One of the members here (my stoned brain can't remember who) changed the light cycle and the plants got a bit confused. Did you stick to your buddy's light cycle?

But yeah I agree with @Stinger96 start a new one and it will probably get môre attention.

  4. Hi, I plant according to the moon. I germinate my seeds on fullmoon since a few years and had only one dud ever since. Not sure if I was just lucky or if the moon had an influence on that. I like the idea that the moon has an effect on the plants. Plus it's for free, so there's nothing to loose doing it.

As far as I know there's little to none studies done on that topic to back up that it actually works.

I come from a family of farmers and my forefathers all planted according to the moon and were convinced that it is beneficial.

  5. Hi @zolrooker, I tend to agree with @Bakstein420

Maybe first do the math and compare the costs for your monthly weed consumption against what your grow will cost in a month. If you would spend twice as much on weed from a dealer compared to just grow your own I'd say it's worth thinking about growing your own.

In case you should decide on growing your own I would suggest to work with autoflowers as loadshedding isn't going to mess with their light cycles too much.

One question remains. What would happen if the unhappy party will find out about your project?

  6. Hi @Nibiru, you mean these 'my little garden' pots? They work fine, but yeah I would also poke a few holes in as it seemed to me that the roots had a tough time growing through the pot.

I like that there isn't any transplantation stress for the little ones. But I prefer the yiffies.

  7. @GGG the Drakensberg area is great for hiking. The silence up there is unique in a way. I've been in giants castle rest camp.

I'm curious about the effect of kanna. Tried it a decade ago but I got it from a questioable source. Now I just grow my own :).

Cactus soil will be fine, succulents like well draining soil. Did you know it helps with stress and anxiety if chowed.

Thanks man, yeah I know about the medicinal properties. Always looked for it while hiking but never found any. I collect these kind of plants. Cool they'll get some nice cactus soil :).
