  1. Yeah, standing at 1350mm from soil. That's in a 10l pot. The Glamberry x Lemon Jedi OG from @Bay Seeds just as tall. Pic below. The one on the left came out the cabinet and had a bit of a snip. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  2. Nothing to report other than the plants are happy. Left is x Ghost Train Haze and the right is the x Slurricane. Front 2 are from indoors. Then a couple more from indoors out of shot. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  3. Time for an update. Lesson #1 for 2021 is stick to one strain in the cabinet. I did a Damnit Dave and planted what I came to realize are very different growing strain's. Everything has been moved to the shade house and I'll be running individual strain's one at a time. Everything almost set, just waiting on soil then I'll start off with a@Totemic grow. Pic #1 the African Buddha from @Daggafontein Genetics. Pic #2 Choc Gelato x Slurricane on the right and Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze from@Totemic on the left. Front one's came from indoors. Pic #3 Master Lester from @Bay Seeds. Pic #4 Glamberry x Lemon Jedi OG from @Bay Seeds. Two on the right started outdoors. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  4. First 2 pics @Bay Seeds Glamberry. 2nd pic on invert setting. Bad critters and good critters and another reservation sunrise. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  5. Weight came in at 28g. Slightly less than what I was hoping for but you live and learn. What I'm learning is less is more and patience. Outdoor one still going strong. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  6. By the way harvest came in at about 25g dry. As usual a wake and bake smoke, perfect daytime smoke. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  7. She's alive. My Jack Berry lives on and is gonna grow up in the shade house. Will definitely be taking cuttings off this one and try my hand at bonsai mother plant. But she's alive. [emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, he's going on 15 now. Got him at 3 weeks old and hand fed round the clock for a few months. Wife went to Germany and when she got back his first words to her we're ' hello mutherfucker '. Has a vocabulary of about 9 words. Gotta keep the stash hidden. Learnt my lesson when he pushed the curing jar off the table to get to the contents. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks. We have to rely on depot to depot deliveries for counter collecting out on the reservation. And Courier Guys are the go to guys out here. Bonus. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. You want your bud grinded. Leave it within reach of the Ziggy (Marley) bird. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome back and nice gesture to kick of the new year. Which courier companies do you use if you don't mind me asking. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  12. Good to see you made it through 2020. Loads of negative press and I'm sure a huge learning curve on supply and demand. Here's to a better 2021 for you@Cannabist and all you peeps who had a kak one last year. PS. I agree with your take on@Totemic strains. Have a couple of his choc gelato crosses and loving it. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Pic #1 x Slurricane. Pic #2 x Ghost Train Haze. Looking healthy and standing at 1300mm including pot. 1000mm from the soil. Water every 2nd day and none watering days I give all the plants in the shade house a good sprinkling. Temperature is rising and pumping wind is hot and dry. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  14. African Buddha from @Daggafontein Genetics first pic and Choc Gelato x Slurricane and Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze from@Totemic. Grow got of to a jumbled start with some planted November and some December but the babies have settled. The BB3TNR from @Bay Seeds was planted earlier and I think I over did it with the LST so the poor plants have taken a knock and are on the mend now. Pics of the rest to follow later. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks man. Yeah the little one. I have to bury the name tags in the pots as he loves pulling them out and putting them back in different pots. Have an outdoor batch of 4 that I have no idea which is what now. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. I agree. I'm using soil from a guy on one of our local groups and it's pretty damn good. Packaging, labeling, ingredients list all there. People drive past him to the nursery to get ' craft soil '. You know why? Marketing the likes of us will battle with. Wether it's nutes or soil it's science, one formula will be better than the other. But who is to say the top brand is better without actually comparing it to a lesser brand who does no have a good marketing head. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  17. It's weekend which means update time. I just realized I didn't put a pic up of the last harvest. Pic #4 is a combined Glamberry, Jack Berry and a small Durban Poison harvest. Pic #1 is the lady that gets carried out and in everyday moments before my 17month old decided to take it for a walk and dragged it down the reservation road. Ok so that's in the drying cabinet now. Pic #2 & #3 is the last one of the 6 that started this journey. Lost one at germination, 2 to being male, 4th = 40g dry, 5th is in the drying cabinet and number 6 is flourishing in the shade house. So without knowing what sex the first one would have been means a female hit rate of 50% plus out of 6. I'm happy @Bay Seeds, thanks for the opportunity. Sleep time for this thread until weighing time. Till then buds here's to 2021 [emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. You breaking my heart bud. Where you based, maybe I must venture out of the world of 'soil and water' and try nutes. I'm Cape Town side. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk Sorry, just read top of thread. JHB. Dang, good luck finding a home bud.
  19. I agree, we the baby sitters. Got two going myself, first two didn't germinate but then neither did other strains I did with that batch. Lost 10 seeds and still have no idea what went wrong. Any way they started slow but have picked up pace now. Considering planting the rest outdoors. Well behaved babies @Bay Seeds, your kids are always welcome to the reservation. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  20. I was gonna mention possible watering issues. Or maybe is a sigh of relief 2020 is so last year. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  21. Hey bud. Dimensions you looking at is 900 x 900 x 1600. Yeah so I'm limited to 800mm plant height, 1100mm including a 10l pot. Had to put up a flowering tent for the big ladies, like you say, man space issues. As my wife and my family business has not worked since February we have time on hand so the plants are marched outdoors at 6am then back inside 6pm. Don't think I'll find a better light in SA Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  22. So I've had some locals setting up house in my plants during yard time. @Totemic seem to be their plants of choice. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  23. During my high school year's all I wanted to do was go travel. My grandfather who had been round the world a few times said to me one day ' travel your own country first before you go travel the world '. I did just that. In the days when hitchhiking was still safe'ish, my thumb took me from the East coast to the West coast, Cape Town to Harare. I hit the road to the airport with 180 pounds in my pocket and returned 10 years later. It's kinda hard to explain but visiting those small dorpies and farm towns in SA prepared me for a lot overseas. I got into indoor growing beginning of lockdown thanks to reservation moonshine and the bug has bitten. I've decided to travel SA once again before I venture overseas but this time it is for the quality and service I believe is available in this country. Everything about this grow is Proudly South African. The setup: CABINET. Wife's custom shelving converted into a cabinet. LIGHT'S. @growopz QB75'S. 1 x QB 3000k/4000k. 1 x QB 3333k. 2 x 15w Osram led strips 4000k. Rigged and ready. Once again@growopz came to the rescue. Approached him with a budget and what I had and a plan was made. SOIL. JouMaSeSoil. Coco - Peat Perlite Vermiculite Basalt Rock Dust Michorizzae Diatomaceous Earth Bone Meal Dolomite Lime Worm Castings Kelp Meal Microbial Tea Ph tested at 6.5. Soil is made by a Cape Town local and so far so good. SEEDS. @Bay Seeds. Bruce Banner 3 x TNR F1. Glamberry x Lemon Jedi OG. Master Lester ( Dr Grinspoon x Lemon Jedi OG ). @Totemic. Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze. Choc Gelato x Slurricane. @Daggafontein Genetics. African Buddha. Big shout out to all of the above for making this possible and look forward to the journey of finding those South African breeder's and gem's. Next year bud's.[emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  24. Everyone's to scared to collect. Cops may think you transporting homebrew.[emoji57] Cape Town side unfortunately bud. Have a good end of year. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
