  1. Week 6 Once again I've managed to jumble up the pics. I'm a little embarrassed about the indoor shots as they are pre water pics. I might be developing a nutrient deficiency on top of the bad pics. Slight yellowing of the leaf edges. Bottom leaves for now. Other than that plants are happy. Shade house looking good although I pulled the first male today.
  2. Dunno? Toofless Alien kept drawing my gaze back to it. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  3. I've still got a week or two I think as she's been in flower 9 weeks now. Glamberry from @Bay Seeds. Gonna have to invest in a looking gadget of sorts. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  4. Morning all. What tell tale signs would let you if it's time to chop if one does not have access to microscopes or a decent zoom on the camera? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  5. Good to see you again. Life hey. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry about the slow postal service guys. A few pics from this morning. Can't wait. I just brush by the plant in the morning and the smells linger in the air and on me. Need to bottle this. Glamberry for 24 hour freshness. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  7. Yep, super dense buds. Thinking next weekend might be chop time. Eyeballing her everyday as I don't have gadgets to check. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  8. Every morning man, every morning I walk into the shade house and hope. She's been in flower 9 weeks. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  9. https://joumasesoil.github.io/shop/ Didn't know how to link this to the thread on soil discussion. Hope it finds it's way there. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. Reading through the posts now I see plenty of brands and prices being mentioned. The soil I get is called Joy Ma Se Soil at R150/30l the last time I bought. I think he has a website. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  11. I've stopped making my own soil as I have found a guy in Cape Town that supplies me now. He's done his research and is continually developing his product. Message him, he delivers. Hastle free. Not sure if I can mention him, rules and what not. On my second grow with his soil now and plants are happy. Two of my friends have recently changed from FF to his soil. 12. Thanks bud. Yeah quite the master piece. Gonna initiate it with Glamberry from @Bay Seeds in a short while. [emoji1786][emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Week 5 The pics seemed to have gotten jumbled up. Sure you guys will figure out which is indoor and outdoor. On the indoor 4 plants are a bit smaller. Other than that all plants are looking pretty healthy. Outdoor grow also starting to take shape. It's been interesting watching the two grows although outdoors is a week behind. Development of the plants have been a lot slower. I'm lucky to have the space to run multiple grows at a time so seeing the difference between plants in various soils, pot sizes and environments has been a huge learning curve for me. Found a local soil guy who's product I'm very happy with. Joy Ma Se Soil. R150/30l comes in at the same price as me making my own soil and he delivers. I prefer working smart instead of working hard. Some may say lazy, I say more time available for planting and maintenance.
  14. The parcel arrived at my Cape Town address some time back. Had it brought up to the reservation this morning. This thing is a piece of art man. Thanks a ton Pass The Dutch. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  15. I literally saved R10 here R50 there. You'd be surprised at how quick it adds up. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. Just looked at the link properly. 45w, is that correct. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  17. From someone who has only been growing indoor for a year. Started with cfl's first grow. I was happy, hey I smoked my own home grow even if it wasn't pukka shit. Started investigating led's with the help of the forum and very quickly invested in QB's entry level bars available from @growopz for a few hundred bucks more. Best move ever. My first few grows I maxed my cabinet with as many plants as possible, trimmed, butchered and mutilated them under 1 overworked QB75. Over time I added to my light set up bit by bit, not that expensive if you able to save a bit instead of going to the pub or buying that pack of fags. I now have 2 x QB75's and an extra 30 watts side lighting. Back to the lights. I learnt the hard way in some people's opinion but that's me. I know what I'm talking about now. Check what diodes as there are a few good ones then the not so good ones. Then stick to what the light manufacturer recommends concerning cover area. 35w needed for 1 plant. I stand corrected on this one. So yeah, try and get more details on the light. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. Awesome. Hemp has so many possibilities not to mention employment opportunities. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  19. Is planting outdoors now not like flowering from seed? The plant takes a couple of weeks to develop then straight into flower. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  20. A cottage is becoming available but Sgt. Koeckermoer and his wife are moving in. He's not concerned about us, private property he says besides he loves the place and our midgets are the same age. Got other kak to worry about. Neighboring farm has a cop with 2 attack dogs. Feeling pretty safe lately. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  21. She usually grows auto purple haze for her MS. Lockdown on the reservation has been long and we soon cleaned out her stock. Hence the reason for the plantation. Re stock. [emoji16] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  22. The other day I noticed a seed developing on one of my shade house plants. Not too happy as I've worked hard to keep males out of my grows. Then I remembered my landlady and her helper have also planted a massive grow, about 50 plants in flower at the moment. Off I went, found Alfred and took a look see at their grow looking for males. No males as he says he pulled all males about a week ago. Damage done. BUT What I did also find is one off the Jack Berry that I'd given a few seeds to him to plant. That's her next to him. 24. Yep. This year I am only concentrating on local genetics. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  25. And I'll say yes. I for one am on the hunt for SA breeders and genetics. I see no reason why I need to import when the locals are starting to make waves on our shores. Fair enough breeders are bringing in seeds from over the pond but are they not then working on breeding them for our climate?@Totemic , @Bay Seeds and @Daggafontein Genetics have all supplied top quality seeds with excellent germination rates. The hunt continues. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
