  1. Lol starting to worry about you bud.... first you jizz all over your plants and now you want to yank 420sa berrys.... something you want to tell us? We won't judge....much
  2. Sorry bud was in a rush. My sentence should have said anything above 27 or below 20 will run the risk of damping off Damping off- taken from Planet Natural , it can effect most plants A soil-borne fungal disease that affects seeds and new seedlings, damping off usually refers to the rotting of stem and root tissues at and below the soil surface. In most cases, infected plants will germinate and come up fine, but within a few days they become water-soaked and mushy, fall over at the base and die. Several fungi can cause decay of seeds and seedlings including species of rhizoctonia, fusarium andphytophthora. However, species of the soil funguspythium are most often the culprit. Damping off typically occurs when old seed is planted in cold, wet soil and is further increased by poor soil drainage. High humidity levels, rich potting soils and planting too deeply will also encourage its growth. Fungal spores live in the soil and are primarily a problem in seed beds. They can be transported on garden tools and in garden soils taken into the house or greenhouse.
  3. 20-26 above 27 and you run a large risk of seedlings damping off
  4. Over watering. I doubt those pots are dry enough every 3-4 days for a watering.
  5. Here's a useless fact for you since you are in roughly the same area. With all the fires around the average co2 ppm in the air has skyrocketed from an average of 403 to 679. So while the fires were horrible and I don't wish it on anyone (Been a fire victim myself) I find it Interisting how it's effected the co2 levels and your plants will be loving the extra co2.
  6. @alemo I don't expect anyone to give me anything , I paid for my light like everyone else lol and I think it was worth every cent . You also know as well as I do that 10k for proper lighting is not a lot @Thatoneguy no idea yet to early to tell , you have probably read the same stuff I have about cmh now it's the practical test. So far I am well impressed with this light but it's still early days , the ladies are loving life u see it.
  7. Nice bud I bet you a happy man atm , those lights are awesome. I hope you also got a pair of specs as these lights put out a lot of uv
  8. Hi guys I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a cmh 630w DE complete fixture . I have been researching these lights for a long time but could never bring myself to pay the huge import duties on these lights. Finally I have started on what I hope will be an amazing set of lights. It's a very simple light weight design and I was a bit nervous at the size of the reflector as I have always been a fan if oversized reflectors. Setup was quick and easy , it was just a matter of hanging it and plugging in . One thing I must say to anyone that may get one , make sure you clip your bulb in properly it takes a little force but as you will see in the pic below you need to pinch that cable properly with the clip . I have used a lot of different lighting , the only light I haven't really tested is LEP , I was blown away by this light . I was left speechless at how much light this little fixture was producing . This light was putting out almost double what my 600w MH was putting out and only 5% less than my 1000w hps ( see pics below ). Now i know plants use Par and not Lux but I put up the readings are a reference as cmh is known for putting out incredibly High Par readings . While there is slightly less Lux than On a 1000w hps I can't test Par and have no idea what the added spectrum will add yet. I have put one 630w cmh into My veg side so the plants can get use to the extra UV and the lights themselves as I like to minimize light shock when going from veg to flower . I will then run 2 x 630w in flower to test run. What I will do on this post is update once a week following one plant that will live under the cmh for 3 weeks in veg the the complete flower cycle .I am not going to be completely separating things so there will be other light mixing with the cmh but the main light o this plant will be cmh. I will be running a strain I have run for years and know inside out . I will know as soon or if there is any change to it at all. So far my first impressions of this lighting system is very good and from what I have read and researched this light should perform well. So far it's lived up to everything I had hoped . If anyone is in the market for a new light I would suggest you give cmh serious consideration Cheers
  9. Did you spray with the lights on cycle?
  10. Being stoned is a major cause of destroyed plants in grows lol I once knocked my fan over I to my flower room.... open blade just chopped through 2 plants.... got high to console myself , walked back into the room and knocked the same fan over and took out another plant...
  11. I would also stop the seagrow if you using biobizz. If you have a looked hood coming then it will do away from the UV issue as well as the glass will filter mist if the UV out
  12. I think you got a issue with the vermiculite in your soil causing lack of air exchange in the root zone . This in turn may be causing a slight ph fuctuation causing a little burn
  13. Last question. How often do you water and is the lot dry when you do?
  14. It will still seed your crop and anybody else's crop in your area , pull it and throw it away lol
  15. What medium is she in and what you feeding ? Are you running bare bulb or cooled?
  16. Put up a pic of the lady effected if you don't mind , might not be light burn
  17. Just wanted to give a shout out to Chronic Therapy . I got a vicod 5g dry herb vape of them and love it . If anyone is looking into getting a vape or some interesting stoner items I would highly recommend them. There service was excellent and there stock is growing all the time. They also have rosin presses in stock for those interested . Cheers Reaf
  18. Depends on how many amps the 400w draws and what voltage you have at your place ( Magnetic pull more than digital) . You need those to figures to work out accurately what it pulls. Standard in sa is 220v but it doesn't mean you have 220 at your place , I have 240v for example. Once you have amps and voltage it's easy to work you the kw/h it draws , 1 unit of power is 1 kw/h of electricity Cheers Glo Ps . Didn't see 420sa post , basicly the same idea and really easy to calculate
  19. Hi bud Yea the 315w SE is deffinately be a better bet than the 400w sunmaster from what I have seen. @Reaper I have seen it said as well that a 315w SE keeps up with a 1000w but I am very scepticle with that. I would say the 315w SE is equal to a 600w , I have gone with the 630w de to test against my 1000w fixtures
  20. Hi bud I personally am not a fan of led lighting , they are fine for micro and small tents under 1m x 1m but if you want to get the most out of your grow I would go hid or cmh. Google cmh lighting fixtures and have a look what the net says about them , there's a lot of benifits in cmh including a 37%-45% saving on power over hps/MH. The cmh produce a absolutely beautiful spectrum light with a really high Par and cri rating. They also have your UV in the spectrum so will have a little extra resin and crystal production. Have a look into it and see what you think but I feel it's quiet a good option for you. Growguru has ordered a few in the range to start and should arrive in a few weeks and as far as I know he is the only one in the country so far that will carry stock. He is getting... 315w SE complete fixture (ballast , remote , reflector and hangers) 630w DE complete fixture 315w SE ballast ( can be used with regular hoods)
  21. I would recommend looking into cmh lighting . I personally am going to be changing my veg side to the 315w cmh fixtures replacing my 600mh and replacing 2 of my 1000w hps with 2 630w de cmh. Cmh lighting is the closest to the sun's spectrum you can get indoor and showing amazing results. You could look at getting the 630w de fixture and dim it down for veg.
  22. If you haven't fed them when you transplanted to will need to give a 3rd strength straight away then leave it untill the pot feels light when you pick it up. Once it's cycled the water once ( the pot is dry) go to half strength then next cycle full strength. Will answere the other questions tonight when I have time
  23. Biobizz grow. Or just get a small bottle of seagrow for R50 if you on a budget and make you own medium it's cheaper
