  1. Then dry the buds more , they stay wet at the centre for a long time . Leave it open a few hours and try again to get I to that perfect spot
  2. If you only have a week left theres nothing you can do really , those plants are basicly done . Black strap molasses is a good choice to lower your ph when doing the last few plain watering of flower and the the plants are soil love it
  3. What they are saying there is that you must water with a nutrient mix with a ph between 5.5 and 6.0 to keep your soil buffering up to 6.5-6.8. like with most organic soils they can buffer up but not down , so if you water with I mix above 7.0 your soil wont be able to buffer it and will slowly rise and cause nutrient lockout Most organic nutrients will lower your 8.1 ph tap water to about 5.6ph which is what they are trying to say on there packaging , water with a low ph and let your soil do the work . Hope this makes sense Sorry cant edit my first post for some reason . If you have salt buildup a flush with humic acid will help break down the salt
  4. That's a hard one to answere as if you have prepare a organic soil it will have a natural ph it will always like to go back to. If you flush you may solve the problem temporarily but the soil will want to get back to it's natural ph. A problem you may get from from the flush is stress from ph fluctuations and nutrient lockout . If the plant is happy dont mess with ph if its unhappy report into good soil , honestly repotting is the quickest way to solve ph issues in soil. Wash the roots in a dark area , repot it , give it a trim and keep out of direct light for 7 days
  5. No need for a ph pen in organic , havent used mine in years
  6. Hi guys Been keeping things on the down low for a while but since the rules have changed I would like to start giving back to the community again. If anyone needs some help or advice on this wonderful plant please feel free to PM me . Cheers Reaf
  7. A fan heater will lower the humidity in a room , you can pick one up for R120 at clicks . By raising the temps in the room you will also allow the air to hold more water which will lower the humidity as well
  8. Am I missing something , where does it say there must be a minimum amount of votes?
  9. People may not like they way Alamo comes across (no offence bud) but that doesnt mean he is wrong. In the end he is trying to educate people , that's what this site is for. People shouldn't be so quick to dismiss him as a crazy internet cowboy
  10. If its 123g dry then you did well bud . You take the 123 divided by the 100w you draw which gives you 1.23g per w . 1.23g per w is a good number , anything over 1g per w and you have done well
  11. It' not expecting the worst but it' having a realistic number in mind. 2.5g per w is a massive number.... I could only dream of those numbers . Be realistic and you won' be dispointed , 1g per w is already a good number and in my opinion anything above 0.75g per w and you have done well I have been disapointed with good grows before because I was expecting to much but like I said I really hope you get 2.5g per w and prove me wrong
  12. I think you may be expecting a bit much from that led , I would be expecting 1g per w which is pretty good going . You can veg with very low wattage but in flower the more energy you can give the plant the more you will yield . Light is a food source for plants in a way and if you only giving it so much it can only do so much. I hope I am wrong and you blow me away with 2.5g per w and I will be the first to congratulate you but my experience tells me if you hoping for 2.5g per w you may be disappinted
  13. Looking good bud, how much you hoping For?
  14. Managed to get 2 red cuttings and 2 white cuttings. They are an amazing plant but it will be 2 years untill I see any fruit and thats only if I manage to get the Pollination right on that critical night . They love the supersoil I use for my ladies
  15. Just got my hands on some Dragon fruit cutting , been wanting them for a while
  16. Think Chris Jay won , it was posted on Facebook . They probably got stoned and forgot to post it here lol
  17. Remember you don' need much , it' a seed. I would take from different depths and a few spots to try get the maximum diversity
  18. Hi bud sorry for the late reply , missed this post. Gypsum works well but personally I have never played around with it much as at the time of writing this the only way to get gypsum in my area was to crush ceiling boards lol . Gypsum is just calcium sulphate which personally I think would suit outdoor growing a bit better as it's main application in farms is to looses high clay content soil. In teas if you wanting a natural calcium / sulphur booster it can be used. Personally I think people add way to much calcium anyway as most of the time the calcium def is caused my FE lockout which is caused by to much P and K . I have used both agricultural and dolomite lime in my mixes but over the years but I seem to have stuck on agricultural lime but both work If you have a proper soil mix you shouldn't need to ph your water. In all my years of growing I have never had the need to ph organic as your medium should do all that work. If you really need to lemon juice or vinegar work great for down and bicarb or lime work for up , not sure which is better as I don't use that much if ever but from my research it's up to what works better for you In organics I live my the rule of KISS , keep it simple and don't over think it as nature will sort things out for you if you have prepared your medium properly
  19. You don't need a shop to brew a good tea. Let nature be your guide bud , roll a fatty and go look for lush growth in nature and take some soil samples from it for the tea . Get some from different types of areas to get a greater diversity of microbes .
  20. I personally donate every month to them already , it's for a good cause
