Growing Commercially Sold Genetics Vs Bagseed
Ill_Evan replied to Ill_Evan's topic in Cannabis Genetics
I think the topic of landrace strains deserves a thread of it's own. I'm not even sure they exist anymore from all the human intervention, but that depends on how strict your definition of landrace is. Kinda like the argument regarding organic growing -

I rate the biltong machine is fine as long as it is not on and dark where the harvest is. Have you trimmed the bud already? Is it hanging as branches or the whole bush?

That's a nice canopy you got there

Been thinking what @CreX mentioned about trusting in the scrog. Also @CleanGreen I agree I might run into space issues if I don't plan ahead. I decided to then lower the scrog and let the plants grow into them from now on. I also did a very light defoliation on some of the bigger fan leaves that were touching the cooler boxes and completely in shade. @PsyCLown I took a pic to show the space I still have above the light, we'll call that the "just-in-case-space"

I believe it will be by way of application, either automatically by a state prosecutor on a case by case basis or if you want to speed up the process you hire a lawyer to do the application on your behalf.

Yes hermie = hermaphrodite If your plants stay outdoors there's always a chance of some kind of pollination just from males that grow in your neighbourhood

Looks like revegging, agreed. I first thought it might've hermied but reveg seems more logical. You could either just chop the plant or if you want to try save it you can dedicate yourself to limiting it's light consumption but you may have do this for a while to get a reasonable outcome. Just decide how bad you want to save it.

I can adjust the net and the height of the light at will @PsyCLown will adjust as necessary. @CreX might just lower the net a bit after a bit more spread after a few days. I have considered the flowering stretch. The timing in general with a scrog net is new to me, so I'm playing it as I go.

If you're blessed with the space (or just "find" your own) you can get away with basically just seeds, soil and attention.

Great success!

Put up a DIY scrog net I made with rope and cable ties. It also gives me a nice indication of where I am aiming for the canopy to be. Otherwise, still smooth sailing. Growth is continous and healthy. The two plants are looking pretty level, I want them to hit and spread on the net at the same time.

Freedom Farms or Organic Matters seems to be the two favourites around here.

Lots of space and light power if it is just for two plants. You can mainline your plants in that case, even an auto. I saw a forumite do it recently, believe it was @AcidAlice. Could help your final yield on the CBD auto strain you got there. Check it here [https://www.420sa.co.za/topic/2856-can-you-mainline-an-auto/?tab=comments#comment-33813]

Went to the Transkei for a few days and left the ladies alone for a bit. Got back to find great growth on both ladies. Doing LST on the bigger of the two and once they are both on an equal level in height I am going to put up a DIY scrog net and grow out as much of the 80cm³ space as possible using the 4 mainlines I have created between the 2 plants.

When it comes to cannabis vapes it is highly determined by what your goal is. I feel I have narrowed it down to the two best vapes for two different uses. Da Buddha Vape is great for at home; plug into wall with no worries about battery life. Arizer ArGo for when I want smaller hits or want to have a portable way to consume my herb. I would not recommend the Arizer Solo 2 over the ArGo. I would only recommend the Pax 3 if you want to vape concentrates as well as dry herb, but if you're gonna vape dry herb only then definitely the ArGo. Pax 3 just has too many features that I feel are unnecessary, like the app and such, which drives the price up. ArGo can outperform the Pax 3 in dry herb tokes and to a degree battery life as well.

First place I'd probably go is Builders Warehouse
