  1. You should first get some data on the area you are growing in and see what the current humidity/temperatures are and then make a determination of what is possible for the space you have. If you know for a fact you will be struggling with humidity/temperature indoors at this time of year and do not want to go more than the requested 1sq/m or invest heavily into aircons etc one method would be to time your grows in the year that the natural indoor conditions are within parameters you want. Do as the outdoor guys do
  2. When I buy seeds, it's from Marijuana Seeds for easy to grow and reliable genetics, and Biltong and Budz for high end/niche genetics.
  3. I went through every mental exercise on how I may strictly fall within the law with my cannabis hobby and quite frankly the laws (which btw are not "laws" yet) are not well defined or even considerate to the culture of cannabis which has been around for centuries. So, with all due respect, if these laws are enacted as they stand, I will break them
  4. This is pretty much my experience. There is more than just what light you are using to growing good weed. I find the growing experience is a lot easier to manage with LEDs such as heat management and power consumption. I am certain that at my current level I have grown just as good weed under HID as I have under LED, but at double the efficiency. Having good genetics is also fundamental and they will always treat you well if you keep them healthy and optimal.
  5. Going quantum was the best investment I made to my growing equipment. Busy running 3 x 240W QBs in a 2.4m x 1.2m tent. I find that a single 240W QB is perfect for roughly every 80cm² - 100cm² of canopy/tent space. The 120W is great for veg, cloning and mother plants, and maybe to flower like one plant properly.
  6. This jungle gonna be a bitch to solo trim goddam. I'm literally exercising my back in preparation for harvest. Gonna be a long one.
  7. 69 Days From Seed / 23 Days From Flip I always enjoy this part of the grow when the development of the buds are most prominent and observable from day to day I've cleaned up the lower parts of the plants since the last update to allow for easier watering and to focus the energy to the mid/upper parts. Canopy is sitting at about 30cm thick and light penetration for the most part is hitting every bud sight. Watering now about every 3 days. These girls can take a total of 50L to get fully fed. The supercropped girl has also come out very well and I most certainly will add the technique to my arsenal of tricks for future grows. 100% would recommend for eager plants wanting to grow a little taller than needed. I've also only now popped on the carbon filter. Don't want to get the neighbors too excited just yet they're just as excited as I am to test out the assortment of strains I will soon have. Can I call this a dagga lab yet?
  8. Great for the USA and long overdue. Decriminalizing at the state level but having it still illegal at the federal level has been a ball ache for any small scale farmer trying to move away from the black market into the legal industry.
  9. Ag jissis Living Organics, Organics Matter, Living Soil, same same
  10. I found a new little hydro shop pop up in the Irene area. Their soils are priced nice, Living Organics is R170. Usually I'm paying like R190-R200 a bag. They also have a "smoking section" and a head shop. I've been there twice now and was always offered a chat and a blunt while scoping out the products. No affiliation just wanna shout out some cool dudes.
  11. The original Far Cry was the tits. Far Cry 2 in Africa was also a nice little installment. Far Cry 3 was the last of the series I bought. All the rest just looked like rehashes of various aspects of the first 3 with moar grafixxx.
  12. I'm curious how are the ZA lads at Tarkov or does it send you to a server in Europe/USA? Are there even local servers? I will probably wait for the GOTY edition, I did the same for The Witcher 3. Get to enjoy all the content on the first/second playthrough also let them iron out all the issues with such an ambitious project.
  13. Guys. This got way bigger than expected I think I may be sorted for a year after this Can't stop won't stop though One objective was to fill the entire 2.4x1.2 canopy. I think mission accomplished. I am very impressed with the quantum boards. When using two 400W HPS I was hitting like R1200 a month on electricity. These three quantum boards are getting less than R700 a month and electricity is pretty expensive around these parts (R2.69/kWh), so anything saved is a win. Beating the heat is also a major win as well. This time two years ago I was eating that heat with the HPS bulbs. Lastly where it counts, growth performance has been pretty comparable. I do still believe the science which says that HPS is unbeatable when it comes to spectrum and bud density/production. But damn man, I have only experienced positives so far with these QBs. The end result of the flowers will seal the deal for me. My expectations are reasonable based off the little test run I did in the last grow with the 4 soil plants under a single 240W QB, and those honestly came out so good.
  14. From the very few autos I have done I have thoroughly enjoyed the Fastbuds Strawberry Pie Auto. Just from that I would 100% go for another Fastbuds strain, and based on what the mighty @Prom rates I would go for the Gelato from Fastbuds. Fastbuds is really coming out to be a winner Auto breeder.
  15. Accepted! Although I have admittedly been playing a lot of COD Mobile ever since I got my new phone. I am slowly saving up for a new PC gaming rig as my current gaming laptop is starting to fall short for most games these days... still gaming on a TV monitor even @TheUltimateNoob and I jammed one night of Rust but shit hit the fan for me shortly after and I haven't really gamed on PC since then. Was just around the beginning of the first lockdown and me losing my job, basically just been catching up in life since then. When I do have time to jam on PC I usually play single player titles. I am very interested to get Escape From Tarkov, I watch a lot of YouTubers play it and I think I would enjoy it. Just wouldn't mind that new PC first.
  16. Sales agent of the year if he sold you a CFL as a HPS
  17. About a R1k a month on electricity for starters.
  18. I'm sure you know the definition of insanity. Maybe if one community has been consistent in their perception of you for over 4 years, maybe it's time to take a hint. Yes yes yes that's why I asked about the tomato. It's also one of those considered both a fruit and a vegetable. The intention was to lead the "debate" but you went your own way, giving a very 'cooked' vibe. Be a little more patient and finish your posts before posting. I mean really.
  19. My dude, you edited your post after I posted. Poor form. Not to matter, it's incoherent anyways. Cooked Jay indeed.
  20. Tomatoes would be classified in the same category as cannabis considering they share similar principles in distinguishing between whether they are a vegetable or fruit. You are adding now other categories which I am going to ignore, because you wanted to "debate" whether cannabis is a vegetable or fruit. Therefore I asked what your tannies would have classified the tomato, as whatever answer that would be, would then also be the answer for cannabis.
  21. How do your five seasoned tannies classify the tomato plant?
  22. Annual herbaceous plant therefore vegetable.
