Hi folks, Trying to start an indoor grow using clay balls and ro water!. Do I need to add calmag to ro water for germination in Rockwall cubes that are already in their final position surrounded by clay balls?. I buffered the balls with 5.8ph ro water and calmag before installation but have not added any calmag since!. It's been 6 days since planting and still no show!. I understand that they may need a few more days yet but wonder if I should add calmag to the water or leave until they sprout .......... assuming they do?. I've germinated using rock wool, 5.8ph RO water (with no calmag) before with no problems,.........however they where in a propergater!. Any thoughts or advice much appreciated as always.... A good place to start is the people who issue the licenses. If it was me I would check out the SAHPRA website. Problem is you are not legally allowed to sell cannabis in South Africa yet. But that could change soon.

I promise you, a million% you're not going to find it through a simple post on a 420 forum.

Hi bud, hope all is well. There are so many extremely cheap seeds available on the market which are all usually F1 or 2's. Basically, unstable genetics. So you're kind of testing, or growing a "test batch". Those are for people who are starting to grow. Typically when new breeders start off, they make small seed batches and are focussed on locking in traits, so taking it to the F6 / IBL / BX. So they can't allow someone to pop 10 seeds and end up with only 1 plant or grow a couple plants, where they're still learning the ropes and not being able to get the plants to express their charactaristics properly. The point of a phenohunt is to get a good reading of all the charactaristics, so what would be the point if the plants aren't fully expressed Breeders usually know a few selected seasoned growers who they know are able to get the plant to express itself. Too many times a project has flopped, because everyone who "want to grow weed" want free seeds, then when time comes to plant there's 300+ excuses on why things haven't started, seeds end up being planted out of season with only one foot in the door, half assed approach, equipment and setup doesn't allow for proper conditions, because the grower is still learning and new to everything, no proper IPM regime.... just way too much that can risk the flop of a multi year project. People aren't passing off good seeds like that man.

Had no success with them so far. Ordered over R1000 worth of seeds from them where none of them germinated. I tried contacting them weekly for over 2 months with no response. I tried every way I could find to try and contact them as they state you have 60 days to report defects. 0 out of 15 seeds germinated is a very bad rate. This is almost theft in my opinion. Edit. Overgrow let me know there was a system glitch which resulted in them not receiving my complaints currently waiting for them to get replacement seeds
