  1. It's a great product form OCB at a fair price. Been stocking them for a couple of months. https://thehighco.co.za/product/ocb-unbleached-rolling-kit/ Came across a similar product, but was 3 times the price.
  2. Those glass wraps are very cool in terms of a blend of gimmick and actually working. They're a bit of a mind job when blazing one. Gonna review them soon. Just waiting for some boss bud to put in it.
  3. Is CBD illegal again? It would appear so, but it's difficult to be certain of anything in these trying times. Here's what you need to know. CBD was rescheduled a year ago and given a 12 month exemption. This allowed for the open sale of products containing a low dose. This exemption included: "CBD preparations that contain a maximum daily dose of 20 milligrams and which do not claim to treat or cure any medical condition – but instead, contain a ‘low risk claim or health claim’, including reference to ‘general health enhancement without any reference to specific diseases’, ‘health maintenance’ or ‘relief of minor symptoms’ which are not related to a disease or disorder;" "Products ‘made from raw plant material and processed products’ which contain a very small amount of THC (not more than 0.0001%) and CBD (not more than 0.0075%)." The exemption has however expired and is unlikely to be at the top government's agenda at the moment. This leaves a burning question for many producers and consumers who are now uncertain about where they stand and are asking.... Is CBD illegal again? Rest of the article
  4. Heavy vibes for CBD:(
  5. Lolz. Also hate it when folk tear the box with gerricks on it. Gonna be reviewing more papers. Including the RAW rolls and 12 inch. Had them on our online store for ages, but wanna help folk understand the differences. Personally prefer OCB's, but am also very impressed by the new Rizla Natura papers.
  6. Are RAW Classic Rolling papers really the "best in the world"? I take a nerdy look at them and smoke a fat one to find out in this dank review. What do you think is the best rolling paper in the world?
  7. Anything that helps keep the frost off will help a lot. Although there hasn't been that much frost in Joburg the last couple of winters. Make sure they're getting lank daylight. Might get some purps from the low temps. SkunkPharm is right about thinking about summer in your design. Poly/plastic green house materials can limit airflow and heat release in summer. Hoop houses are soooo easy and quick to assemble.
  8. The expo, D-day and marches have all been cancelled or postponed. Sucks that the biggest 2 months for cannabis in SA have lined up with the country's shutdown. https://thehighco.co.za/south-africas-cannabis-events-cancelled/ What other 420 friendly events have been cancelled?
  9. Been getting a few job requests and noticed that there's a few canna recruitment agencies and apps starting up. So I did this blog about The Top 5 Cannabis Jobs in South Africa. It's based mostly on my personal experience and interactions. https://thehighco.co.za/top-5-cannabis-jobs-in-south-africa/ But I was wondering, what is your dream cannabis job?
  10. Rather safe than sorry. Don't wanna put wet bud in a jar. Practice makes perfect though. Sucks when bud dries too fast and gets a green taste.
  11. A good cure makes all the difference. Have been very impressed with Boveda packs. The little ones are great for in my daily smoke jar or bankie. Also seen people using them to test/calibrate their hygrometers. Been selling them for a few months and had no complaints, but understand how it's not always affordable or accessible for everyone. So did this guide about Boveda in SA and where to buy retail and wholesale. https://thehighco.co.za/boveda-available-in-south-africa/
  12. Been using Boveda for about a year now. Very happy with it, but mostly use it for bud that's to dry. Haven't really tried it with wet bud yet. Had best results in airtight jars and Cvaults. Also been stocking the small packs in my store for a few months and had no complaints:) https://thehighco.co.za/boveda-available-in-south-africa/
  13. Defoliating helps. Jamies Garden Shop has an IPM range that really helps. Have used it lank during flowering, but noticed a big drop in terpenes.
  14. Grown and smoked a few autos over the years. They've definitely come a long way in taste, potency and yield. What is your growing and toking experience with them? Any personal favourites? https://thehighco.co.za/autoflower-seeds-in-south-africa/
  15. Easy to make the laws, but tough to enforce them. Good news that they're at least trying to figure it out.
  16. Looking good:) Often wonder how you coastal folk deal with the intense winds.
  17. Yeah, had my fair share of doors slammed in my face by banks, etc. I think that''s why so many of these private dagga clubs are trying to create their own in house currencies. So that they can mask their transactions from financial institutions.
  18. Shot a lot:) Got a bit of forum burnout from the BTL days. Regret how some things went down then and was putting a lot of time into Fields of Green... too much time actually. Glad to be back.
