  1. Hellllooooo there. Nice little plant you got going there. No one's laughing. Don't worry. We have all had bumps along the way, especially with autos. I for one am not a fan at all as I have also had sooooo many of my autos fail. Actually every single one failed . I think I am really shit with them. So you have answered most of your question already. Clear trichome on the bud is a good indicator that she can still go a little. I think I can see some white pistil hairs on the lower part of the plant. Thats also a good indicator although not the best. Usually I would let the pistils also darken but that is not the best way to check. The trichome turning cloudy and then amber would be your best indicator. But I think youd be ready to harvest anytime soon. One thing I noticed was the soil you have has alot of bark in. Looks like the potting soil you get from builders, with some perlite mixed in. I have used this soil on its own and have had seriously decent bud grown in it. Better than most outdoor kak you can buy. But learning from the guys on the forum it is probably not the best for Cannabis (too acidic). Either way. I do think, even if you use the same soil with a photoperiod plant you will get waaaaaaay better results. Thanks for the share. Let us know what it smokes like when its done and dried etc. Enjoy
  2. Epic. Thanks for the share. I have made a couple of jars which I cemented a valve ontop of which I used to create a vacuum for BHO extraction. I wonder if those jars have just found themselves a new use. My thinking is; if I store my flowers in a jar and vacuum the oxygen out, technically it should help preserve the terps. Has anyone done this? Anyone tried storing their bud in vacuumed jars? Not bags.
  3. I see alot of these on facebook from the SAPS. Often they throw in a firearm or two from a different case to make it look even worse....Funny part is if you know your firearms you would see it's a "stolen" police issued firearm. Fucking idiots. Plus.....I really really hate how they still use words like "dagga" or "magic mushrooms". Complete sensationalism I would agree.
  4. Hey man. I have one of the branded Trim bags. To be honest, I have no clue wether the quality would be the same or not with the cheaper one. I could only imagine that it works just as well. It's actually quite a simple idea. Friction from the material of the bag rubs off the sugars and fans. If you are trimming more than 500g a time and often, I would recommend it. Also note that there is probably quite abit of trichome damage and if you look you would notice it. But to the general public, it makes a nug look reeeeaaaaaal good. Depending on the strain, size, how dry etc. It all plays a role in wether this bag works. I have found it to work well with harder nugs and even from as small as about 1cm nugs to the giants. It will trim them all. It gets about 90% of the work done. If you do not care too much about what the trichome damage would look like under a microscope, then go for it. I also think of you are going to do extractions with the left over trim, the friction might leave behind a bit more smaller particales of plant matter and most probably would show in your colour of your extract. Hope this helps a little
  5. You looking for open or closed loop extraction dude? Specifically the BHO pipes?
  6. Here are some of my artistic attempts. 1) The Twin Towers 2) The Black Galaxy 3) Frosted Flakes 4) the Scented Jpeg 5) Leave me alone
  7. @CreX Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. @Ill_Evan Thanks man I agree on the strips. Terrible for growing, but works very well on the rooting. I had these little 12v led bars but the wires eventually broke because we would have to move them everday when opening the dome. Over time your start understanding what works best in your unique situation.
  8. Watsup folks. Nothing major here. Just thought I would share my interesting way of lighting and controlling the temps in my clone dome. Which is also not in a tent but in a cupboard on its own. Gets lonely in there so I thought I'd make it cozy. This project is not the cheapest or anything but of leftover things I had lying around....trust me.... I had a heating pad and 240/12v converter just lying around. I got a nifty little power box, some twinflex wires and a sonoff sensor. I bought some led cool white strips which was also very cheap. These had a sticky back and I could bend it quite abit. I took the cupboard board out and stuck my LED at the bottom of it. That then connects to the 12v converter where th 240v power comes in. I think you could probably buy 240v LED strips but I don't know if they are as versatile as the 12v LED strips. I also run these lights 24 hrs a day. No timer but you could add one very easily in the power box. I connected the heating pad to a sonoff sensor and then to the 240v power. The sensor is a little black wire that runs from the power box to the dome. I set my temps so that if the dome is colder than 20°C the heating pad will switch on and off if it is warmer than 24°C. This helps alot in winter but in summer it doesn't help much. All in all not the cheapest or easiest project but could maybe help someone with their own ideas on how to build something like this. Also to expand and add more would be very easy too. Thanks for watching.
  9. Geez thats sounds like such a nice problem to have. Look forward to seeing what that tent gives birth to every couple of weeks. Keep them clones coming!!!!!
  10. I somehow must have missed this thread. It looks suuuuuuper yummy though. I am in awe with the look for the 2.4m tent. So beautiful. What impresses me the most is the autopots and that you doing 18 plants harvesting 6 at a time. This is the real perpetual deal. I likey. It is very similar to my setup but because I really want to scrog I just use 1 strain at a time. Maybe 2. So with the box fans. I must admit I got alot of ideas from guys on the forum here especially the scrogs in 1.2m tents. I never knew temps and ventilation would change so much when I upgraded the flower tent. I struggled alot with humidity but also the temps were running above 30c. I almost died. But what I did which helped soooooo much is to get two more box fans. I have two hanging at the top exactly like yours but the other two are at opposite ends of the tent facing inward towards each other. So they will move air at the bottom of the plants. The reason they work so well is I put the backs of those fans against the intake holes at the bottom of the tent (the filtered ones) and because they are so nice and low they draw in alot of cool air from the room as the cool air sits at the bottom. This also kind of tske alot of pressure of the extractor. Now it does not have to pull and push air out. Those box fans help with the air coming in. Love this thread. Glad to be following it now and looking forward to seeing what pops out there. Every harvest will be a 6 pack.
  11. @Ill_Evan what is up man.!!. So it was actually Ngannou's last fight on the contract. I think thats why Dana didnt hand over the belt and wasnt at the presser. So I read up about it, theres a champion clause that can extend Ngannou's contract for 3 more fights but that is only if he wants to compete. Otherewise it expires end Jan, then he becomes a free agent. I think that is why Dana is like he is. He knows he has a week to negotiate and does not have the leverage. But that being said, the UFC is the UFC and will carry on without Ngannou. It is very easy for them to set up a heavyweight fight for the title. I must say I really wanted Gane to win but I am happy that Ngannou has the ball in his court. I just hope he does not take bad advise and fuck up his career going forward. He needs to be very careful. The UFC is big and no one has been able to change their minds about pay etc. Dont think anyone will ever. Have a lekker monday.
  12. He is pissed because he has zero leverage. I think he was hoping Ngannou would lose.
  13. I agree @Ill_Evan. It should have been a draw just like their first fight, and Moreno keeps the belt. I never would have guessed that Ngannou was going to win by decision. The odds were +1200. Would have made biiiiiig money if a person bet on that. Was a cool card none the less.
  14. I am eye balling the Skunk, Jelly breath and Cheese. Buuuuuut....... Super silver haze is showing serious size. She might be slow but Wow!!! What a classic sativa. Super exciting!
  15. @Tribaldy damn thats a cool little pdf. Thank you kindly. I must agree I think it is some kind of Stem rot. I can't help but wonder if Gauteng's weather lately isn't playing a small role. This Sucks. I would honestly cry.
  16. @Ill_Evan duuuuuuuuuude!!! The SugaShow!!!!!!!!! I think I have been watching him since he came into the UFC after the DWCS. Super entertaining guy. I love the karate style guys. I couldnt believe Pena beat the lioness. Absolute madness. That means the guy that bet $300k on Nunes winning is pissed off. But serves him right. Betting $300k to make a measly $20k, he deserves it. Lol. I am super sad for Dustin but Charles is really good. He took a beating and still made it. Just like he did with Chandler. And the Whitman fest was unbelievable. I have been dreaming for a Whitman triple banger and man did we get it. Once again Justin Gaethje was an absolute monster. Even though that went to a decision it was crazy crazy crazy. What a way to end off the year.
  17. Aaah great. What a cleanup. I smell big nugs on their way....
  18. Watsup guys. So yesterday was the day. We went to the Cannabis expo!!!!!!! It was lots of fun. We saw so many people from different walks of life all in the same place with a passion for the herb. There was cannabis being smoked at an outside venue and also a VIP lounge which there was a guy serving dabs. He had a small selection but it was free an man did that lift a person up. A great observation was even though here were sooooo many people there was not an ounce of shit. I understand that it is not a huge expo but this is still just the beginning phase. As soon as there is clearer legislation and laws set in place, we should see alot more people coming out the woodwork. So it is understandable that there were no seeds or cannabis being sold. I do understand that the expo is more on the bussiness side of the herb. None the less it was an absolute fantastic day. Myself and @John Stonedwell just had to leave our marks.
  19. What is up oaks. This weekend is going to be awesome. It is the Cannabis expo in JHB at the sandton Convention centre. I for one am suuuuuper excited and will be there with family and a bunch of friends. Tickets are R150 online and R200 at the gates. Anyone from the forum going to just have a look and are there any suppliers also going to be there? It will be my first cannabis expo and am super excited. Any tips or cool advise for the expo is welcome.
  20. Very cool. Looks like a pshycadelic party going on in there.
  21. Welcome dude. This forum is fantastic for learning and there are plenty of people with tons of knowledge here. Checking your post on reddit and doesn't seem to sound like someone I know on this forum. Everyone here is very welcoming. Let us know what you are growing, indoor, outdoor, autos, fems, soil, coco, hydro etc etc etc. We love seeing new setups and ideas. Enjoy
  22. Looks like balls to me dude (not that I know balls too well) What I do with outdoor sometimes is I supplement with a plain 100w LED flood light. So depending on how much Sun they get etc. I even veg in early winter sometimes with extra light from the LED and switch it off when I want to flower. I also like using the LED if I take clones that have been receiving 24 hours light and then plant them outside. Even though they go from 20 hours light to 14 hours light, sometimes they flip to flower because it is a huge difference between 20 and 14 hours. The LED stays outside permanently and being used to extend the days of the plants.
