They do state if purchasing the seabird guano, it’s high in nitrogen. But after much thought around these types of amendments, Guanos in general should be considered high in nitrogen always

Ya that’s the only thing with high nitrogen inputs, either you’ll be using up all the available nitrogen before it becomes a problem, or you could pump microbes enough not to displace the tied up nitrates, but then anything you add after that including microbes will off set that and boom free nitrates again.

No this does not happen, in fact quite the opposite happens, the more variety that can be grown in one place, studies show that they act as a vaster network of nutrient assimilation pathways. Essentially they end up working together. One plant being more developed than another in this circumstance could better be attributed to phenotype expression. If you were to grow clones in a bed with a majority of different covercrops, personally I’ve noticed super uniform growth.

Ya bud, that seems to be your best bet I reckon, the green bag doesn’t have much in it, so you can bank on having an almost clean slate, and mixing that with an in proportion amendment mix would be similar to mixing it with a soil base. So I’m sure that will work to your benefit Keep us updated with the results

So we 13/14 days old now, 3 weeks gone. The girls are doing good, I seem to have been under-watering them. Obviously trying to stay on the side of caution, but since Thursday, I’ve been giving it a good go. Watering around the base and interior area to give a good saturation as I had installed the blumat soaker hose yesterday. Small bit of inner veinal yellowing seems to continue on so I have given 1ml per L fish hydrolysate which actually dosage calls for 5-10ml per Litre, I have been using it wrong this whole time, but I doubt I’ll be going over 1ml, that’s madness. I fed on Thursday, and they seemed to really enjoy it. They soil must be quite depleted on N, which is not a good thing at all. Will navigate as best I can. 5 weeks to go

NOice bud! I too tried a similar method and would love to see if you could get a reading on the result. I used to dissolve 1kg of sugar in 6L of half boiling/half standing once settled the mixture sits in a 20Gal container with lid. Drilled a small hole in the lid so that the CO2 can come out, I used to leave it outside the tent and linking a 4mm tube into the grow space, and after about 3 days I would shake the container daily till a week had gone by, and I would change the mixture. Once ready, I would drop 2 tablespoons of brewers yeast in the mixture. then close lid. the results were really good, I sure it makes quite a difference.

Ya i'm not too fond of this Elemental blend, I have not used it but I have used all the ingredients, and it would definitely pack a punch and not in the right time of most parts of the plants life, even vegging, maaaabyyy using miniscule amounts but it has Alfalfa, Kelpmeal and seabird guano. haaat haatttt sure a bit of Compost/EWC. This would never be a feasible option in my mind. Reamending does come with a looooot of work however, much research and know how. But even then you are still punching in the Dark. I mean you know what you've added, and you know what the plant is telling you. And that's the best you can do. A well know forum grower on overgrow I think it was (watched a youtube FCP video) preaches low amendment and top dress strategies, He makes like a base, and then add Rockdust, and will topdress everything he needs along the way. You really need to know what you doing in this case. Im definitely thinking a minimilistic approach is best. But Shit is different everywhere, for example Coot... He would laugh at the use of dolomite. He say, as he would, for those mangnesium hungry plants or whatever. In my mind, first thing to go is Magnesium, and an eyeball to that statement. But I suppose i'm not using Coots worm castings.

Avocado tech, Ya I manage to get some scraps together for the worms. Banana peals, apple cores and some left over avo. Now mushing avo and mixing in, as he says, not much maybe teaspoons of mineral amendments is a great Idea to push those nutrients up in the form of castings, not sure how good it is for the worms. I prefer topdressing, even if i'm a little late, topdressing works within 2 week or so and I can possibly foliar to combat the deficiency from 2 angles.

Look to be half inch fins sprayed black, very very light weight. Does the job, but obviously would not be as effective as heavier thicker heatsinks. But Ill be sure to treat them right. Will post an image when i'm home.
