  1. understandable, and I appreciate you saying that, the only real advice we can give is that based on our own experience. when giving advice based on what others listed as "fact" we would just be discussing "hearsay". this is why I don't like when people try to convince me of things they read somewhere once, which sadly happens a lot in the community.
  2. those are some dark buds hahahah I would press all of it
  3. yes that's it, looks like it should've been one seed that's just split. in that case most time neither seed is good, but with the case of them sharing a husk there will be one that had a better chance of developing and one that's a little less developed. with there being no chance of the already formed x chromosome splitting in two as with some other reproductive processes, with regards to a cannabis plant twins are not a genetic mutation, but rather a casual physiological phenomenon. Ok, cool got a better understanding now, thank you sir! Still haven't pulled the trigger on plant breeding, got tons to learn still as you can see!
  4. I see, so the two pistils and two seperate ovules and each get fertilised lead to one seed forming with two plants in it? not one calyx with two seeds in? I've seen quite a few situations where one calyx has two seeds in it, poorly formed seeds, but what would be the situation here? might be a stupid question, but this is how we learn hahah
  5. when you cull the weaker of the twin you just cut it at the base? say the stronger twin is the selected one in the end, would breeding with that one not still carry the twin gene? I would think to get rid of that trait completely you would have to get tid of both of the twins, or is the trait not that big of a concern? oh yes, something we will never have enough of is time, and sadly it waits for no one!
  6. whooooooooo !!!! not wasting any time hahah looking good man, you got any twins in previous runs too or the just spontaneously coming out as twins now? do I see some mutant there aswell?
  7. they're all looking amazing, you done good selection here man!!
  8. Day 55, took a few photos. You can start to see the difference in the Zkittle phenos, so I put them as 1, 2 and 3 Zkittle 1, whole plant with light on, the bulkiest of the 3 phenos, would say the she stinks more but is a bit less resinous. normal light close up phones macro option Zkittle 2, light on whole plant, shortest and over all smalles of the 3, bit more frost, but think nr 3 is frostiest? normal light whole plant close up phones macro option phones macro option with flash Zkittle 3, light on whole plant, she's the tallest and stretchiest of the 3, but looks like slowest with bud development or she's just gona make more, smaller buds, we'll see close up phones macro option Super Lemon OG, whole plant light on, I really like the look and smell of this plant! normal light whole plant close up phones macro option Banana Hammock, whole plant light on, everything that's purple, stretched out over the whole tent whole plant normal light close up light on phones macro option, light on phones macro option, normal light add on - almost forgot a photo of the canopy Here is the veg tent. ladies potted into 20L and one 30L, one month left in here then moved over to flower tent.
  9. you know, I am gona have to buy mycos soon and this is a good deal to not miss out on! I'm down to clown, brother!
  10. hahah I swear the same shit happens to me, everyone always want something untill the day I wana give stuff away then I have to announce it 100 times and no one seems interested! If I was any closer to your side I would've jumped for those seeds and mycos, 2 things you really can never have enough of. crazy that there's no takers for this!
  11. and thanks for the heads up on Pacific seed bank lol, will stay clear!
  12. well that has to suck, the reliability of these things are going out the window with the whole new legislation happening around the world. every second guy trying to get rich quick and sell off anything as long as they selling. hope you find something worth your time!
  13. oooh riiight, fuuuuh... ck have a looksky, not sure if you seen this, when the biobizz bloom shit hit the fan the main man himself gave us all some cheat sheets for getting around the DAFF bullshit with our precious bloom nutes! these products should all still be available, and easier to find on another note, I can already clearly see a big difference in those plants man!
  14. I like the look of that PE pheno, lots of little calyxes densely packed and quite a frosty one! I remember you mentioned you're looking for a noticable pineapple taste, you getting the right smells from this one? what's your take on her so far?
  15. for autos and load shedding the stress will come more from there not being airflow. but that's the same in all cases, not autos only autos don't grow according to light cycles. you can even flower them perfectly fine on a 18/6 cycle also if you got PM or any other mold spores floating around in the tent already the 2/3hrs of no airflow may allow them to settle and find a spot they like.
  16. oooh man, I would have to refer to one of the coco gurus for that question!! mr @CreX, I know we had an in depth discussion bout the stuff a while back and made me realise how well you know the stuff! would you be so kind as to advise us on this?
  17. hahah yeah not saying you trying to fool anyone so for the sake of this thread/grow I will just count day 1 same as you, May 13, the day the first post was made? no competition here
  18. yeah hahah well we are discussing on how to compare this correctly, because you mentioned I should consider the time it took him to root and all. I guess in all situations before comparing anything that differs so much and has endless variabilities you should standardize things or find common ground between the subjects atleast. otherwise you be making poor comparisons.
  19. yeah everyone pops seeds different, and clones may differ in size and all that. I would say, to ease things out and make it fair, look at both sides and what would denominate the main factor, which would be getting a plant started. So in a sense, if you didn't do "that one thing" there would be no chance of there being a plant. In my opinion that would be, in the case of growing from seed, taking the seed out its package and placing it in the medium/ shot glass/ paper towel/ whatever it may be, the important part is you are getting the seed going. that is Day 1 with seed. to me. day one for clones should be the day you slip that freshly cut wound into the medium it's gona root in/ bubble cloner/ coco pellet/ rockwool/ whatever. because this would also be "getting a plant started" and I feel this should be looked at the same as putting the seed in the medium...
  20. wow fok those are nice results bud!! not gona argue with that you can totally disregard what I am saying, because I am agreeing that you get good results, but remember "the exception proves the rule" and there is probably a good reason why we are all not using vinegar and why you got asked why you using the stuff. the air bubble hahah I try not even shaking my pen when I clean it and stuff just to save the tech inside that little bit longer. my pen came with a book with instructions and a box of stuff to maintain it, it cleary states don't shake the pen too vigorously or hit the sides of the pen against anything., though people say the one they have is indestructable, that again is an exception and it proves the rule, you hear WAY more stories bout them going to shit for no reason. lay them down without use for too long, fucked. swing them around, fucked. drop them once, fucked... they are quite sensetive little toys and the people who make them clearly warn a person to look after the thing as if it's a baby. I keep mine upright in a jar at all times, so the storage liquid don't run out. gets new storage liquid weekly. literally 2 drops, easy. gets cleaned and calibrated once a month or so. done.
  21. yeah, I get what you mean, but if you wana get technical, he didn't come in with an unrooted clone, he put an already rooted plant into a bigger pot to start off with. I take it as he got a clone from somewhere, be it his friend, his other tent, his aunty or whatever but the taking of the cut and the rooting of the clone wasn't shown as part of this grow. this is actually a valid topic of discussion hahah, if you get a clone from somewhere and go straight to a bigger pot and you are out giving reports on how long to veg a plant, do you tell people the included cutting and rooting time or do you just give the duration of time since you got it? cause in this case, and many others, I have seen the clones quite big already and can be concidered a month old plant already, so if you veg them 2 months to fill a space you should be saying it took you 3 months? so mr. coolJ is actually at 8/9 weeks veg and not 6 weeks? add on - if we pop a seed and it's at 1 month we don't disregard that 1st few weeks as part of the plants life, but we do with clones? or should we start counting Day 1 of Week 1 only when we can start feeding it and call it a plant already?
  22. duuude fuck yeah that is awesome, you're doing a heck of a job promoting youself here as I am also looking into buying some mantis pots for myself!!! they so sexy man! what will be the product lines of focus for you? more equipment than nutes and stuff? I see you got your know how on those nutes man, plants are exploding with growth! all the best brother and may your business thrive just like those beauties that you got thriving there!!! add on - looking at the mantis pots that freedom farms sell, I can't find the ones with the big cannabis leaf on. I am looking online so maybe just not spotting them. Do they have the ones you're using?
