  1. Is that 2m x 2m of 2ft x 2ft? Big difference, since we are in SA I feel we should be using meters. I have a feeling its feet, so 60cm x 60cm which is a very small tent? @Prom if you need more fans, for a little more it may be worth considering the AC Infinity fans, they're really awesome and very quiet as well! Comes with a very nice controller with a RH and temp probe: https://zephyrfarms.co.za/product/ac-infinity-cloudline-t6/ I have two and love mine! Use them for exhaust.
  2. I am sure you posted this before, but what is the RH limit before PM may become an issue?
  3. I'd spray the milk and water mixture as often as needed until you see it decrease, then continue with a weekly or bi-weekly spray. I have struggled to get it off however a bud wash helps but you may need to really get in there as milk can dry hard and needs a soak to soften up and come lose. Due to the residue it leaves and the fact that I struggle to get it off if left to harden and dry, I try and avoid using it. As mentioned, your plant has some serious PM going on - however it's fine to use to experiment with and see how the milk and water works for you. Fresh, unpasteurized milk is ideal but not easy to find. Fresh full cream milk is 2nd best followed by long life full cream milk, but just go buy some fresh milk if you have to. aq SF can be used to treat an outbreak, but it does take time to work and is therefore not ideal. Sulphur I believe works well, never used it myself but have had friends use it and seen the results and success they have had with it. So using Sulphur to get rid of majority of the PM and then using other sprays to keep it in check until harvest is an option - but you need to be careful in your case due to how severe the outbreak is. Another thing to keep in mind, PM spreads spores which you cannot see with the naked eye. So best to try and clean out your entire grow and grow area before starting a new grow and/or carry out regular sprays with things which will help prevent the PM. Once you have PM, it can be difficult to get rid of and if there are other plants nearby the chances of them ending up with PM are very high so you need to treat ALL your plants.
  4. Here we go, take a look at these products: https://www.jamiesgardenshop.co.za/shop/biosulfur-250ml-r85/ https://www.jamiesgardenshop.co.za/shop/aq-sf-ampelomyces-quisqualis-liquid-250ml-r100/ https://www.jamiesgardenshop.co.za/shop/bio-build-1kg-r60/ Milk and water also works well actually and is easy to get, but does smell a little and leaves a residue on your plants and tent.
  5. Indeed it is! Such an awesome tent the Bud Box is! Mammoth can't come close in terms of quality, even the Secret Jardin DS and HS series are not on the same level as this BudBox in terms of quality - the material is great, poles are 19mm and powder coated black, corners are metal and they all clip together nicely.
  6. So keep the canopy even, try get multiple colas of the same size as opposed to a single larger one when not doing any training?
  7. I almost forgot, I split the Ethos seeds with @CreX and @Ill_Evan So we may get some updates from them on their autos as well, depending on when they plan on growing them out.
  8. Soo as some of you may have seen, I have decided to try out some autos again. I grew some back in 2019, decided to try them out again and some better genetics this time around (hopefully). This is what I will be growing, so far just one of each. I soaked them on Saturday I think, then they went into paper towel and last night they all had tails so I quickly finished buffering and getting the coco prepared and into 20L fabric pots they go! I was contemplating starting in 23cm pots, then moving to 20L pots but decided against it as I do not want to disturb them with a transplant as they are auto flowers. I put some myco and trich powder into the coco when putting the seeds down, this morning there was a little more growth and I am hoping for some leaves by the end of tomorrow. Here they are in their pots last night. I am thinking I will pop another 2 seeds in a week or two and increase it to 6 autos, might even go for autos. See how space is. I am also contemplating whether I just let them becomes christmas trees and do no training on these autos or whether I do some LST - what do you guys think? LST or no training?
  9. So I did some defoliation and moved some plants over to the flower tent last night, I should really take some pics before. The plants look bad as they have just been tied (LST) down again, will take another pic tonight as they would have bounced back by then. Then this is what the veg tent looks like currently. Also did some defoliation and LST on the plants in veg. Waiting for more box fans for the flower tent before I can move more plants into the flower tent and a few need a bit more growth before I put them in flower (small plants at the back, with the lowered light). Not too much interesting happening here, not yet at least.
  10. I have seen them being used as grow pots / bags before and it worked well enough. I prefer spending a bit more and having a higher quality fabric pot but if you are on a budget, it works for sure.
  11. That is Powdery Mildew and it is a decent amount too. Your plant is far away from being ready to harvest though, so you have time to try and treat it if you really want to. Perhaps try some sulphur as that is a fungicide, it does leave a residue but can be washed off. Copper soap is an option too, however I'd prefer not to use that during flower. For preventative measures, aq sf is a good option - can also be used for an infection like you have, its spores for a fungus which feeds on the PM I believe. Worth a try as well, however I think start with Sulphur and then once its better consider moving over to aq sf to control and keep at bay until harvest and then bud wash for sure.
  12. I am very certain it is one for voltage and one for current, so you cannot dim the two outputs separately unfortunately. If heat is a problem, a fan work otherwise right angle alu to make a fin of sorts and a larger surface area to help dissipate the heat. Pitty you didn't plan on building this sooner as I threw out some amazing aluminium extrusion which was really beefy and would have been ideal for such a build. I actually used the aluminium for my build with the Bridgelux EB2 LED strips. Had some left over and nobody on the forum wanted it and I was tired of storing it so it just chucked out, bit of a waste but too late now unfortunately. I ended up selling the light (was 4x 1.1m strips running off an LRS driver) as I prefer the Quantum Boards and the LM301B diodes are more efficient as well and the form factor just works better for me.
  13. I have some Hortimix in 5L bottles already mixed as well as some Hortimix in powder form still which I am giving away as I now make use of GHE and this is just taking up space. I'd rather someone use it than it just sits around gathering dust.
  14. Still available, I have some hortimix in powder form too which I will give away with these pre-mixed hortimix nutes.
  15. If nobody takes this by the end of the week, will be throwing it out. Just taking up space now.
  16. That Dimension song isn't really my jam... Now this is a great mix!
  17. So got me some Ethos autos, being split with @Ill_Evan (Pluto Cut) and @CreX (OG Kush). Keen to see how they turn out, I will most likely create a grow diary once they are going for those who want to monitor and see the progress etc. @Ill_Evan I guess you could post updates of your plants in my thread if you wanted to. haha
  18. So I think I may germinate some autos this weekend and possibly place an order for a few more - some Ethos to try out. Who else has grown some Ethos autos and which? @SkunkPharm have you grown anymore Ethos autos?
  19. I too need to find a better way to support the plants and large colas, I was thinking of using stakes. In the past I used twist ties and hung the branches to the roof poles in my tent, lol. What a mission it was to do and again when it came time to harvest and undo it.
