Cool could have been some fungal issue if the CopperSoap is doing the trick.
Soil takes a bit of time to settle in, dont stress too much, they looking good considering, see if the issue persists.
Looks like enough N there at the moment, new growth quite dark green.

@Teal Smith have you been foliar feeding with anything?
Skme of the silvery speckled marks look a bit like thrip damage.
Not sure what soil u are using, sometimes a "hot" soil can also cause weird issues.
The new growth does look a lot better, i would keep a eye on the new leaves, care not to over water or under water.

With decades of SAPS choppers spraying the rural areas, and in general the war on the plant, our local landraces have been decimated. I dont think the original DP is around anymore. Neither swazi for that matter. There has been European genetics influence on those populations for years. Lots of hybridization.
This is very true, in my opinion if you want something close to the old Swazi and Durban poison genetics, Sensi Seeds probably still have em around u know.
Perhaps deep in Swaziland somewhere are some Madalas cultivating something oldschool.
Not sure jow accurate this is, but Greenshouse seeds goes searching for Swazi Gold.
Depending on where you live, cross pollination from neighbors has become a real concern for breeding the last 2 years.

Youre welcome @BluntKnife , enjoy the grow

@BluntKnife a very small plant could go a few days on 50ml - 100ml, depending on the growing medium, heat, etc.
I would recommend u experiment, not sure how big ur plants are, but give em say 50ml (if they are small plants) and see how long it takes for it to dry to about the stem.
Well rooted plants in a 10l pot can drink 1 to 2 liters every day or two, the bigger the plant the more they drink.
Please bear in mind this will all vary greatly depending on your growing medium and external factors.
Feeding with runoff also depends on your growing medium. Hope that helps a bit

@BluntKnife ideally you want your growing medium to get dryish after about 3 days when hand watering.
Plants will use water at different rates depending on factors such as heat, wind, etc.

Hi @Bos , please feel free to start your own "lineup" thread in the "Whats in your stable " section to showcase your girls.

Added some chopped up branches and woodchips around the side of the raised bed.
This is mostly to help promote good fungal activity in the soil as the wood breaks down over time.
It also helps to minimize evaporation.
I added some well aged leaf compost again and tilled it over.
I will keep the soil covered with cardboard from now on to maximize microbial activity.

@ORGANinc. , you are most likely looking at a magnesium deficiency.
Looks like they need some food in general, a repot will help a lot.

Thanks a lot @Bakstein420
She does have those desert qualities, the sweetness you get from candies or sodapop.

Some of you guys might remember the daddy I chose last year, nicknamed "FruityPuke".
This girl was selected from about 15 beans that got mixed up, mystery mom, FruityPuke male.
The terps of this plant is a dirty berry, like diesel berry chem funk.
She got the nickname FruityPoopz, a new potential mom in my stable, definitely going to make beans with her at the very least

Yo @TheUltimateNoob , does your friends aunt know the origins of where she originally found the beans.
Do you have any information about the male that pollinated the bud? Is it a pure inbred line, any chance of hybridization.
Pure DP should already be a bit more stable in my opinion and would probably require less work than imagined, if it is actuallt DP.
The thread you mentioned is on the breeders group, here is the link

A lot of good opinions in the thread
Pros and cons to both, coco maybe less so with mostly buffering being a major block for some new growers.
23 hours ago, Bos said:Contradicting opinions coming trough on this subject hahaha. In the end it's all up to the (New) grower, but they have to do some research (and there is a lot you can read up on the subject) about the different nutes, mediums and equipment required and obviously what the budget allows.
Then decide which way they want to go.
I think this is spot on, most newbs fail because of eagerness, too amped, te veel geees.
Whichever medium chosen the grower (not just newbs) should always educate themselves as best possible, be diligent with your grow and try to think ahead.
A lot of the time when you see a issue its prob something that happened a week ago

Thanks a lot @afternoon blazer , years of pollen chucking, selection and dumb luck!
The final say will be in the smoke though, in about a month or so should be dried and a bit cured to sample.
Will gauge the flavor over 3 runs or so.
