  1. Hey there @Cyclone Welcome to 420SA - its a menagerie of info here to learn from. We also have a club here representing the growers in Natal. Enjoy your new journey!
  2. Dag Sê @Jugy Like that stain you playing with. We doing a project on that area of the nursery and will be keeping an eye on your results.
  3. Greets @herbmap - welcome to this precious board (for me ) to share and learn from.
  4. Welcome and an invite to the KZN Growers club there @oldsandals We need the enthusiasm - 3 peeps so far collaborating
  5. Goodness - that's tight brother. Now that is something to strive for. Wow. Growing on a farm makes one forget the aspects of space and efficiency.
  6. Depending what wattage you pull, you could look at getting power support as in a powergenerator with say lithium Iron batteries. Expensive, but similar support for my outdoor stretch spot lights, juiced by an Atom450 for 4 hours from sundown, saved my ass this season.
  7. @Dank the natal club has some cool objectives set - gonna put steam into the Mzanzi engine soon.
  8. That is a solid boy there @Dank nice work for the seed vault.
  9. Well done on this project @Mambawana - gosh I really feel like a kid in a nappy running around and excited about these results you guys pull out of that Hat. Wow. @Trinityfarm is cool for April, down in the diary! Gotta plan some of the activity, soz we can all beg whilst receiving, hahaha The 1000Hills Nursery products are doing so damn stylish in the nursery with the new project lights run by the Atom450 powerstation!! There is one girl I am so impressed with, stretching like a fine basketball player. Will post a story about the lights project on the board as it really delivered right off the bat and the planning and access from Pit-Industries as a special build for the Atom450. Light came to Trinity grow house in our attempt at recovering from that hail storm disaster in December. Looking fwd to more pics @Mambawana
  10. Howzit @Apoche Alypse - welcome to the Forum. Certainly a place to learn and chat with equally motivated growers.
  11. This may be the breakwater case? Parliament should made a determination on this, we have till year-end to have the law changed. http://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2020-02-21-uk-man-in-court-to-have-sas-prohibited-drugs-list-declared-unconstitutional/
  12. Yeowza @Farmer Brown , you ask me questions right in the middle of my master class given by kzn club members so I can learn at the rate of knots. I have neva done this seriously, having sorted and pick my stable of landrace from bag seed for the next year crop with the acceptance that I lose bags of effort in growing males and then eliminating them. Keep in touch and we will show how we go, as we are on such a project right now. I have learnt so much in the past season so far.... and I thank this community for that! Diff here is that I try do over a 100 plants in a season. I extract only.
  13. Shot @Captain_Pirate , presume that was for me? Will study in due course. I am a member of FoGFA and offered my standby to Myrtle. You'd fall on your back if you see my profession..... Hahahaha But I grow for medz as my artisanal hobby.
  14. Sorry for picking up on this thread late guys. Two comments with your permission @Dank We have a project to create a new pool of DP in the kznclub. Mean to do this as a Mzanzi project for the obvious reasons (for which I had zero knowledge, but am now becoming enlightened.) So I am very keen to partake if any results are at hand for proving. Secondly, for any interest in hiv work - we have been working on this project for 14 years now. We have a herb that provide a 100% recovery for the traditional measurement method. PM me if there is any interest. We could not get gubment involved, but have anecdotal experience and test result proof from Drs. Funny how cures have no interest with Drs hey?
  15. Oooh - about that DP female @Farmer Brown Would be very interested with our kzn project to strain hunt a solid DP find. Hahaha - like : "So many seeds, so little time, so little space." - as a newbie to the breeding game, I am starting to understand.
  16. Sjoe, I guess it may. I am an outdoor grower and have not ever worried about that. But then I have also never grown the dank stuff that flies around today, its always been landrace for oil production.
  17. Howzit @TazM Not even a pot plant on the balcony? Good hunting and keep it safe.
  18. Howdy dude, you are in a safe place to learn. Wish I had been active here a long time ago - so much info and help... may the green be good for you.

    Hello

Welcome Krieg = > excellent garden there.
  20. Greets Kaptein You landed in the right spot to learn how to play. Look and learn, and have moerse fun. Your life is about to turn a few degrees. Welcome. Where in Mzanzi do you find yourself?
  21. And them politicians call us wit okes racist? Funny how most people - including all my brothers of colour - really fancy anybody that has their stuff together... capable, and not expecting a handout!?!
  22. Read my say in Politics post @Chris Jay - most people do not know how to go forward. I am just so glad that we have Myrtle and Jules trying to keep the boat on course - otherwise it could have been another ten years of unraveling the cock-ups between Imbizos, campfire talks and Zumastans, whilst everyone is eating a fat chow and the kidz go hungry. Let the Chinese in - if we must, they at least do not take shit from zulus. Its work or die. I also heard about the 'territories' owned by mafiosos and kingpins of darker inclination. Nothing belongs to the 'people' anymore. Last week I was told all game on the land belong to the zulus, and they will take what they want when they want. Hence the constitutional changes afoot so land may be stolen. Fork, I am about to resist a mining application for a farm in the middle of our peaceful cowzulunatal. No product specification, just want to mine! Se La Vie.... Its gonna take IRON BALLS to sort out the shitty legacy we have inherited due to greed of those in control. (The BRASS BALLS were sold for scrap last year...) I choose to be positive and educate one person at a time to become members of the ICANDO tribe. Noooo one owns the plant.
  23. Agreed @Cannabeme - Education is the solution. Please have a look at "entourage effect" and "homeostasis". See why the cells in your body has cannibinoid receptors. We claim from experience that most if not all folks have very little or no cannibinoids naturally manufactured in the body anymore. Why? The National Health diet/program recommends very little about proper nutrition. By this we mean that possibly the junk we encounter in our food supply, cancels out the bodies ability to keep it healthy. A small maintenance dose does wonders to the human physiology.
