  1. Looks like a cobweb mould. Love a very damp area with poor air exchange. Change the conditions and it will simply die.
  2. Not my recipe... Lemon, Orange, Lime, Raspberry, Strawberry and Blackcurrant Fruit Pastilles 240g Fruit Purée 225g caster (superfine) sugar 95g liquid glucose 10g pectin 2.5ml lemon juice Put the fruit purée, 150g of the sugar and the liquid glucose in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Mix the remaining sugar with the pectin in a small bowl. Whisk the pectin mixture into the boiling fruit purée. Continue to cook over a low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches 104°C (219°F) on a sugar thermometer. Mix in the lemon juice and continue to cook for 3–4 minutes. Pour the mixture into a silicone mould and leave to set for 2–3 hours in a cool, dry place. Demould the set pastilles and roll them in granulated sugar.
  3. I would replace the gelatin recipe with a pectin one. Gelatin can get nasty, while pectin is antimicrobial, creates a chewier chew.
  4. I still can't come to a rational conclusion why a plant needs any legislation. Legalisation implies laws exist governing cannabis. Outlawing nature is a crime. If laws governing the protection of minors step up, it can't possibly be more severe than our current liquor laws. My point is the law has been the primary vilifier of Cannabis. The problem is that.
  5. Oh yes, I'm anti communist too. Money is just not something I hold dear at all, so hence my anti capitalist sentiment.
  6. For the longest time, my mouth has had me in trouble, hated, a target. This is a norm in my life, but amplified when it comes to Cannabis. So I thought I'd share a snapshot of what drives me, my views regarding the law and the best possible outcome that I fight and hope for. Being a dissident comes naturally, and the Concourts ruling has been the first step in a positive direction regarding stupid laws. I'm first and foremost anti-legalisation. From a commercial point of view, legalization is being driven by money. Its evident as you watch US and Canadian policy being cemented into their respective law statutes. I'm also anti capitalist, so naturally, legalization makes no sense to me, on purpose. My view is simple. Cannabis in its entirety should never have been allowed to be statuted in law at all. In my view, the word Cannabis should cease to have any legal definition at all. Disappear from law. There are thousands of plant species that are outright fatal due to their toxicity, yet not one features in law. Lettuce doesnt feature in law. Why should Cannabis? I see both as a food crop. Whether its food for the body or food for the mind, they are equally benign. I can't find one genuinely rational reason why we need to legalize and then by implication, tightly control cannabis, except for the financial exploitation angle. I hope to in my life see the plant being freed from the clutches of our governments and law. Entirely freed. What's your view?
  7. You are limited to tilapia, koi, other carp for summer aquaponics. Koi are hardy fish and can be monetized. Raising baby koi for the industry and such. Trout is good in winter time with much colder water temps. The problem comes flowering time when cannabis P and K needs change. There is generally not enough P to push flowering.
  8. it's all downhill from 30 bru. It gets worse. I mix by shovel. I dont mix up enough to warrant a mixer. Although a mixer is not a bad move if its tons you are talking about. I simply remind myself that this is exercise even though its killing my back, it's worth it for my body, wallet, and future harvest.
  9. Karbadust or diatomaceous earth. Its composed of microscopic exoskeletons and dices and shreds the gnats. Sprinkle liberally on soil surface. The gnats eat fungus in the soil, so they aren't attacking your plants directly in anyway.
  10. I even added 4 extra breather holes along the bottom of my lid to allow more fresh air in.
  11. Honey is about 80% carbohydrates. Mainly fructose and glucose. Sugars, when combusted, generate acetaldehyde, which has addictive properties. Many toxic (including carcinogenic) smoke compounds are generated from sugars. In particular, sugars increase the level of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, acrolein, and 2-furfural in smoke. I dont personally think that using honey on your joints/cigarettes is a clever idea at all and it shouldn't be encouraged.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Now that you are here, it will benefit this community as well. Pop by from time to time.
  13. Guess the traditional healers license papers weren't in order. This era of double standard we live in hey.
  14. PICS: 'Sophisticated' dagga lab busted in posh Cape Town suburb https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/pics-sophisticated-dagga-lab-busted-in-posh-cape-town-suburb-20190731? shared via @News24 It's a shame really.
  15. Yeah. Wait a few months. That feeling you have and the law will change. Needing a license to grow cannabis is about as stupid as needing a license to mow your lawn. My 2c...
  16. Goodness. Haven't seen you in a while
  17. Using lactobacillus to make your own organic fertilizer. http://www.csdbahamas.org/news/2018/2/15/how-to-make-your-own-effective-all-natural-fertilizer
  18. General light reading on the bacterium that make up the group, and their symbiotic relationship with us humans. https://www.immunityfuel.co.nz/page/lactobacillus-bacteria/
  19. Bump. Adding to current conversation. The link doesn't work anymore but could use this thread for the conversation.
  20. I would use the serum. The point of the serum is to concentrate the bacteria. The organisms with the most individuals on the battlefield win the war. It's a matter of shear force with numbers in the micro world.
  21. The concentrated serum can be diluted 10ml-20ml / litre water. Use as a soil drench. Very effective at killing bad anearobic bacteria in poorly aerated soil. It can be sprayed on leaves as a pesticide, your surface areas as disinfectant. The use list is long.
  22. Haha. It's safe. Safer than modern chemical preservatives in the food industry. Your pickles any pickles from beetroot to gherkins are lacto fermented. That's the preserving process. I mean the real homemade pickles, not mass produced shop crap.
  23. Lacto bacillus is probably the most important bacteria on the planet. Perhaps some haven't dedicated as much time as others in researching our terra micro biology, and what makes this whole living planet tick.
