  1. And then onto the stretch! Neatened her undercarriage completely. Compare to original stems from transplant day. Tallest Cola seems to be topping out at 1.8m from the floor and the rest are averaging between 1.6and 1.7

  2. And this is where I will pick up where I left off! Since the last update, my flower area is harvested and restacked, my veg area is barren and I have a few small ladies in the cloning station getting ready for transplant. I managed to find some homes for some of the plants, and one of the 4 Aurora Kush babies has found a home in @PsyCLown tent. The remaining 3 are in the flowering tent now and have been pulling out some magic. I have gone with large 160l totes for buckets and one has soil and the other has coco. So far, they are about the same... Coco dries out faster. Here's a few pics of everything in the tent now. The Aurora Kush ladies are in the front, and I'll introduce the others gradually. I put them into the flower tent and let them settle nicely into their new homes by keeping them in veg for some time... I think 4 weeks more, or 3....cant remember... But the growth was much. Iv upped the wattage on the lights to about 75% which puts me around 370w. Id like to add an extra light panel or 2 for better coverage. But it's okay for now So here are pics from the transplant... The scrog... The trellis, and the start of flowering.

  3. Citradelic sunset Must admit... This bud pulled through in the end and gave me the largest colas and a very good yeild! All phenos ran similarly but only 2 of the 3 made solid buds. The smell is pungent but I find it quite sour. Flavour has been said to be fruity citrusey vibe... I don't get that too much, I get a very woody spicy taste. Compared to others that have this strain going, I could have left them going for another 2 whole weeks! Which could have changed my opinion more favorably. Just makes it to a 7 out of 10 in my books.

  4. I must admit, 1kg in 1sqm does have me intrigued too and wondering whether I could reach such figures although I'm not too sure. A 1.2 x 0.6m tent is 0.72sqm and based on what I've managed to pull from such a space... The figures don't add up, perhaps if I were to do a scrog. I dunno. @Prom what's the best you've gotten so far in terms of grams per sqm? What has it worked out to? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  5. What a crazy time! I haven't had time to engage fully with the forum over the past few months. So let's see if I can get another diary going some time... Or pick up on another diary So the last pics you guys saw were nearing the end of the grow. Here is the final harvest with a few pics I still haven't weighed it all properly... But I did weigh some of it... And if I use those figures I guesstimate about 450 odd grams from a 1.2x1.2 area under 300w LED. So not too shabby, but definitely room for improvement... @Prom with his goal of 1kg in a 1x1 area has me inspired.

  6. I doubt going backwards is on the table at all... Considering the raging successes of other countries laxing the bans on cannabis. I think it just means we are gonna be living in the gray area for a bit longer. Mixed emotions there... But so far so good right? I mean, iv only heard of larger grows being in trouble... And I don't think anyone on this site has a grow one could consider "large", barely meduim at most. Which is a good thing. Quality over quantity

  8. Sweeet, got a Fem Inzane in the membrane seed from Ethos chilling in the fridge, in line for my next grow. Will be following for sure, excited to see what happens here! Plants are looking sexy my dude!

  9. I forgot to add that they got transplanted into the 10L smart pots on the 7th as well, before the LST. The first picture of the roots are of the Black Fire, second is the Inzane.

  10. I'd also say the plant is likely going into flower now, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Think of it like an auto this way, haha. If you give a photoperiod plant 12 hours of light from seedling it's around 4 weeks when it'll start to flower give or take. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  11. At the stroke of midnight, we lost our free trade rights to sell CBD. https://www.tnha.co.za/cbd-exemption-expires-where-to-now-for-cbd/ Consumer’s continued free access to CBD without a prescription under threat. On the stroke of midnight on Friday the 15th of May, over-the-counter Cannabidiol (CBD) containing products which have been freely traded in South Africa will revert back to being Schedule 4 medications requiring a doctor’s prescription, despite there being no registered (legally approved) prescription CBD medicines in South Africa. This situation is due to the 12-month exemption notice for certain CBD products expiring without an extension or a permanent exemption despite an impeccable safety profile. This places importers, contract manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers which CBD products in a precarious position, not knowing if they may continue to sell CBD products legally or not. CBD now reverts to being a schedule 4 substance in terms of the Schedules of the Medicines Act. Selling unregistered medicines is a criminal offense under Section 29 of the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965). The entire CBD product value chain now requires pharmaceutical trade licenses or pharmacy licenses to sell CBD products legally. In May last year a special exempted category of CBD products was created after our organization took the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and Minister of Health to court. In a last minute round-table meeting between the SAHPRA and the TNHA’s legal representatives, a historic agreement was reached to exempt CBD from the schedules under specific trade conditions. These included: The daily CBD dosage of the product could not exceed 20mg. The amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) could not exceed 1 part per million (0.001%) by volume. The product labels and associated marketing materials could not contain health claims for diseases or serious symptoms, and could only refer to approved low risk ‘well-being’ claims. In a short space of a year under the liberalized exemption framework the CBD marketplace in South Africa has grown considerably. There has been a plethora of new local and imported CBD products entering the market, and a healthy and vibrant marketplace has ensued. This brought about many entrepreneurial success stories and employment opportunities. The public have enjoyed the freedom to choose CBD products freely and gain many benefits from them. To date the SAHPRA has not conveyed any reservations about the safety concerns, or raised any compliance issues with industry bodies. The TNHA are not aware of any reported harms relating to CBD containing products in South Africa which warrant the substance being tossed back into the legal basket of high risk medications requiring a doctor’s prescription and supervision. The only stumbling block for the local CBD industry over the past year has been the reluctance of the National Department of Health’s Food Control Directorate to approve CBD as an additive in foodstuffs and beverages, bringing us into alignment with other countries who have developed ‘edibles and drinkables’ markets. WHERE TO NOW FOR CBD? The SAHPRA has received various regulatory proposals for CBD and hemp seed oil from representative industry associations leading up to the expiry of the exemption notice. With the expiry date of the exemption notice having come and gone our organization will now urgently attempt to engage with the SAHPRA and Minister of Health to seek the reasons for the lapse. With the regulator’s heads wrapped up by COVID-19 and lockdown creating logistical challenges it is possible the deadline was an oversight, or the result of the SAHPRA and Minister not having the time to consider extending the exemption according to stakeholder proposals. The CBD industry and millions of CBD consumers need clarity on the future status of CBD and its continued access Now! Many people now rely on CBD for the maintenance of good health, and will undoubtedly suffer without continued free access to it. Other users may have experienced the reversal of serious health conditions. The harm created by arbitrarily removing the product from the free market without cogent scientific or risk-based reasons could result in being deleterious to health and place people’s health at risk. A risk which we believe far outweighs any potential risk of the substance itself under the existing low risk exemption framework. Should no answer be forthcoming from the SAHPRA and Minister of Health in the near future, the TNHA will have no choice but to proceed with the court case we launched before the exemption.

  12. I do the same, with a little rice. Just to make sure there isn't any chance of moisture ruining my beans.

  16. And here's through the trellis. This was very near flip date. I lowered the lights down to the lowest areas of the canopy for a boost for a few days, and then raised them to this level.

  17. Slurricane x juggernaut Slurijugg All phenos smell and taste the same which is consistent. All had decently dense nugs too Very earthy floral flavour which leaves a remarkably pleasant aftertaste for quite some time. Definitely a solid 8 out of 10

  18. I don't mind smoking some weed and not getting super baked, as long as it tastes and/or smells good. I wouldn't grow a CBD specific strain for myself, though as long as the bud is good I don't mind if someone else brings it to the party. As for the Sativa or Indica thing, I don't know. Maybe I'm not smoking weed right, but what I get from the bud I smoke depends more on the mood and energy I was in right before I smoked. If I smoked a straight indica right as I woke up I'll just continue on with my day, don't have time to be lazy and "get tired". Within the next two hours I would have smoked again. Sometimes I smoke smoke sativa right before I go to bed, if it's some super sativa shit I probably lay there with a goofy smile on my face for like 3min longer than I would have if it was indica, if I haven't fallen asleep already... I guess my answer is that it doesn't matter hahah!

  21. LSD standing at 30cm tall in week 10. Growth has been slow this past week as I have been battling with a deficiency/lockout issue, though i seem to be winning the battle. The Gelato at 4.5 weeks is just under 15cm tall with no training. Not expecting much of a yield from this one but to be honest I am quite happy she isn't a space hog.

  23. Yeah with parliament non functional, and the shit that is yet to hit the fan in a month or 2, this ruling will lapse it's time. I wonder what that will actually mean for us. Could the status quo be reverted back?

  24. I still think this would be cool @420SA As said in my previous post, we could have some cool custom made badges or titles for the winners.

  25. What's up everyone; so I've managed to put together another quick but informative update.I haven't changed anything with my methods, just did regular maintenance and fed the trees when I needed to.I did, however, change the nutes to flower ratio to help kick start the transition week - I plan to flip to 12/12 in a day or 2.I will include respectively named pictures so you guys can see how they've progressed. The first picture is just for the thumbnail on tapatalk - no filter shots for days. The summary of what's happened since the 6th is as follows;7th May - did some more lst and trained the canopy flat again8th May - watched them bounce back10th May - they filled out quite nicely12th May - more lst to train the canopy selective defoliation13th May (no pics for this date) - defoliation for airflow and light penetration (the last 2 pictures were taken on the 15th - I moved the Inzane to the left of the tent)They're looking good. I feel like they're ready for flower but I'll let them get a bit taller first. I also want to take some clones to I'll let the side branches get some length also.So yeah that's where we're at right now. Here's another defoliation video; Enjoy.

  26. nope, she already decided to go flower, you could add light.. but she will go in a change confusion and if you are lucky, will take her 4 weeks to go back to veg.. with the needed light.. you have to decide if that is worth the effort and money. Quality seed.. might be worth it... bag seed.. let it be ^^
