  1. That will also work, no rinsing required, but if it's too strong, it will burn the leaves... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  2. Spray with a light solution of MKP. It's a mild fungicide. I use about half a teaspoon to a 1.5l if I see any PM during veg or flowering. You will have to rinse off at harvest time. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the tobacco seedlings, the promo pack & that something extra ;) I switched to vaping years ago, but sometimes, i just feel like a smoke. My mom smokes full time, so she'll get more out of it than me. That's my winter grow sorted, thanks again. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  4. Hi. I'm in the southern suburbs.... But I can come around to u. Probably the weekend, or later in the week. Whereabouts are u? I'll dm u Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  5. @Stinger96 are you still looking to donate a few tobacco seedlings? I have a few haze clones looking for a good home Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  6. They eat your plant. Particularly the young leaves & buds. I usually get them on my orange tree, feeding on the developing oranges, which die & drop off Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  7. That's what they say in the documentation, but it works just as well running the pump to your pot from day 1. Here's a quick pic of my 2 month old Neville's haze, running the pump 24/7 since day 1. She's about 2m tall & just more than 1m wide. In the 25l autopot XL. Dont mind the droopy leaves, it's almost sunset when I took the pic. Lol Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  8. Those are baby stinkbugs. You do not want them on your plants... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  9. Actually, its MKP or mono potassium phosphate, it can also be used as a cheap, mild fungicide, for those that don't know. Epsom salts is magnesium sulphate. I've substituted the hortimix B with their calmag, since they both have calcium nitrate, with very good results so far. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  10. I agree with @ORGANinc. That looks like a fairly advanced nutrient issue. It would help to mention what medium you're using, what nutrients & how much... should be salvageable if addressed asap Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  11. Looks like it's revegging, what's your light cycle like? Light bleed into the grow space can also cause it. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  12. That's a nice build. Can I ask where you sourced the parts from? I would love to build my own when I have some extra cash :D Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  13. About half a teaspoon calmag to 1l or 2l water ,when u usually water, & you'll see a noticable difference in 2 to 3 days. You dont need much, but I always buy a kilo & somehow it always just lasts 1 season with my 4 outdoor plants. The cheap calcium nitrate magnesium nitrate from hydroponic.co.za is my go-to... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  14. Are you feeding calmag? As a rule I always feed a bit of calmag with my regular feeds for coco grows... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  15. I haven't grown Dynafem for a while now, but when I did, I had no issues. 12hr soak, then in paper towel in a warm spot. Within 2 days they're ready to plant. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  16. Have you tried rs components? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  17. Far too soon for nutes. Wait till node 4 or 5 and then only 1/4 strength or even weaker. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  18. Tbh, I'm not a fan of "driverless" LEDs. Capacitive droppers generate huge amounts of heat & that's just too inefficient. I got some lights from a guy in plumstead that makes them, busy testing them with my 1st tent grow, so far so good. Only 110w wall draw, so I'll see how it goes. The 100w blurple bar I got from him is still running after 3 years. I might put it in the tent if they need a bit more light. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  19. Futurelight might have what you're looking for, I'm not sure of 24v strips, but I've bought a few 12v strips & power supplies just for messing around. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  20. Interveinal chlorosis is usually an iron, zinc or manganese deficiency if not a heat/air/root issue. I would reduce the amount of grow & flower nutes & up the micro a bit Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

    2nd run

Nothing will happen, except the cold slows growth & maybe more chance of mildew. I have a few plants in a tent on my back stoep & they seem to be doing just fine. They're protected from the elements & it doesn't get cold enough in CT to kill them Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  22. Same here, I've ordered some seeds for my winter grow last week tuesday, it arrived yesterday. Once my tent arrives from hydroponic.co.za I can start... they've got some really good strains Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  23. Lol. Maybe because it's a mission getting the PH right. I mix & PH mine in a bucket, then add to my reservoir. Also PH up causes the silica to precipitate out, so I have to add more silica if I lowered the PH too much Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  24. Liquid silica... usually this time of year I'm battling mildew & bugs in my outdoor grow. This year I have neither. ;) Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  25. I've been using my SLX v1 for a few years now, no issues apart from being a bit hard to twist if I put too much in it. Almost nothing sticks to the teeth... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
