@Weskush Dutch Passion has a CBG variant available through Trophy seeds.
I haven't seen any other local seed supplier that stocks CBG strains.

CBG is going to be the next big thing , in my opinion it's better than cbd in certain areas and is extreamly under utilized.
I was lucky enought to be given 150 cherry haze cbg seeds from am overseas contact , 14% cbg . Unfortunately I have not seen any locally available atm. I am planning to fraction off the cbg in a SPD setup and start processing cbg oils for anxiety disorders
Are you wanting for personal or commercial use?
Howzit man. Personal use for now but thinking to go bigger down the line.

Howzit fellow growers
Any suggestions on high CBG strains?
CBD is one thing but CBG seems to be more potent for particular treatments.
Any input would be lekka

I had 2 Blueberry x Bubblegum plants last season and they were the most impressive strain that i've grown outdoors to date, vigour, pest/disease resistance wise and yield wise and not to mention smoke wise. Wonderful terps and a strong high that lasts. Chronic was also right up there growth and yield wise. Not so much smoke wise.Highly recommended

How about a outdoor grow off upcoming season @420SA ? I don't have the privilege of having an indoor setup and i'm sure that i'm not the only one on this forum. Think about it

Wish mine still looked so nice and white. Out of stupidity i put some grinded coffee in the chamber with my herb. Don't ask me why i did that. Curiousity combined with idiocrisy(is that a word?) Anyway. Burned the fuck out of the chamber and impossible to clean. At least i don't taste burned coffee anymore...

Yeah, difference between a budget vape and more expensive, premium vape is minor things.
The guys spending around R1k on a vape are not missing out on much compared to guys spending R4k+ on a vape. The little luxuries can be nice to have, the smaller differences can add up.
What might help justify the price of a more premium vape is the longer 10 year warranties we are seeing with some vapes, as well as support and stock of parts. Davinci support is phenomenal!
What I am tryin to say is, if you do not have R4k to spend on a vape but only R1k. Do not go out of your way to find the extra R3k.
If you have R4k to spend on a vape, then go for it! They typically come with some nice extra features, accessories and support.
Yea man agreed. The major differences would be firstly and most importantly, TASTE. With a budget vape most strains kinda taste similar. There are definite differences but you have to be fine tuned to notice. Secondly is battery life and perhaps various temp settings, which is just a bonus. You only end up using 1 or 2 temp settings anyway. The rest is nice to haves. In general dry herb vapes are way overpriced in my opinion.

Love the totes man.Love it!
Are those 100L totes? Raised grow beds are way expensive and this seems so practical. Thanks for the inspiration bru

I've had the Cloudious Atomic 9 now for a year and must say that this vape is a budget vape destroyer. Just over R1000. Battery life is fair. Flavour is ok. Cleaning and maintenance is super easy. Does it get me goofed? Hell yes!

It's the nature of the F2 line, it's genetics, and the foxtailing is dominant from the chocolope NL. The gelato cut is also not a big yielder but produces these smaller indica nugs. They fair well and express with uniform genetic foxtailing to build quite a bigger bud than winter would produce
Thanks for your input. Very interesting genetics. Great smoke though by the way!
Terpines and taste are super smooth and spicy with a touch of earthyness.
The full flavour definitely puts this strain in a category of its own...lovely

Looking nice! I noticed with my outdoor @Totemic Choc x Gelato's that the bud structure also look exactly like yours. Foxtaily structure and not big dense nugs like my Chronic or Bubbleberry. Is this due to the genetic make-up or environmental factors?

Carnivorous plant for pest management
in Pest Control
Posted
Howzit people.
I got hold of some sundew seeds (Dorsera Capensis). Fascinating plant specie. Seems like quite a mission to grow but i'm amped!
Thinking of using them, once matured, to catch those damn fungus gnats that's been bugging me.
They detect and absorb nitrogen from insects that get stuck on their sticky tenticles (looks exactly like trichomes). They get all their nutrients this way and uptake nothing from their roots.
This specie is indigenous to the Western Cape.
Why don't carnivorous plant species get used more often to assist in pest management?
