Im using freedom farms and I'm kinda following the feeding chart also the leaves could be clawing because of heat issues, I have been struggling to keep my temps down but yes I think i am overfeeding as well. I am using biobizz bloom and fishmix
Hey man. I would cut out that fish mix at this stage as it's carrying quite a substantial amount of Nitrogen which your plants dont necessarily need at this point - NPK ratio 5-1-4.
The bloom has a fine balance of N to carry the latter half of the flower stage. NPK ratio 2-7-4
What type and size pots are you using and what is your watering/feeding frequency?

Well done @John Stonedwell !!
those mushrooms look nice! did you do the inoculation yourself or did you buy one of those ready to fruit bags?
Regarding my grow setup, we hit a huge bump in the road with the electrical team. Now none of the buildings have any electricity!! there's some major headbumping and finger pointing going on at the moment between the comercial facility agents, the building contractors and the governments electrical department and it seems it's going to take a while still.
The area of land belongs to one person, the building is a add on to a already exsisting establishment, when the government team came out to change the load capacity of the nearest power box to accommodate the establishment with all the different commercial facilities, they found a whole bunc of illegal wiring going on, so naturally they just cut the wires without regards to who they're cutting off. Turns out the previous building contractor who built the first part of the establishment had a long battle with the government and ended up going the illegal route, now we have to play blown nose kiss ass with the government and clean up after other idiots
anyway, taking baby steps, because that's the best our government can do
on the side I am busy with new commercial agents looking for a whole new facility, because this is a joke, just using that place as storage now. luckily I am not and have not been paying a cent
Started with baby steps, got a ready to fruit bag just to see if I can understand the grow pattern and environmental requirements. Might move along to try to whole inoculation route in the future.
Very sorry to hear about that shit situation man.. really not cool if you have invested a lot of time, atleast the monetary impact is not that bad.
Good luck with the search man, I hope you get a nice space to grow some beauties. Keep us posted and all of the best

WHAT'S GOOOOD, BOYS AND GIRLS OF 2022!!!
fuck the big C word we shall not speak of, we all made it this far in the shit show, so let's make some lemonade, shall we!?
Moving into the new year with a BANGER!!!!!!! things have been looking up, so over the last few months I been busy turning a backyard hobby / hustle into a registered business, getting our commercial licensing done as we speak
I will leave the nitty gritty for the papers, but holy hell starting up a business has probably never been more of a headache!!!! Really trying to tame the bull wanting to get anything done that means help from the government. Took them 2 months to send a health and safety inspector to come spend 30min at our new site.... pathetic....
that's right.... our new site!!!!
bigger and better!!!
we will be installing isoboard rooms with full climate control shortly
Hey bro. Hope all is good in the hood there.
How is the project coming along? Would love an update.
I tried my hand at some golden oyster mushrooms and it came out kick ass. Went super nicely with a pasta.

Covington or Masvidal?
Masvidal all the way. I don't have a lot of respect for Colby.
The Bryce fight was real good as well. I like him a lot.
Did you see the mad fight card for April 9?

Uhhmmmmm that blunicorn grows nicely, and the jelly breath also looking great!
im loving the growth on a jelly breath cut I got at the moment, should have definitely kept a cut, I’ve notice already shew.
Thanx man. Yeah I dont think I got the most out of the Blunicorn in the tent but she is looking great in the outdoor set up.
Jelly Breath is a ridiculously awesome strain. Super dense nugs and amazingly pronounced terp profile. Will definitely want to run her again.

Hi folks,
So I am getting ever closer to closing of this diary with a great feeling of happiness as I really didn't have a lot to complain about. This will be a rather long entry as I have a lot to share
So most ladies went for a full 14 day dry and had the perfect moisture content to allow for a slow dry and to immediately be thrown into the trim bag on day 14.
Man this trim bag is the shit though... all 8 plants were done in about 5 hours which is epic, especially for me as the trimming part I struggle to have fun with...
I didn't do excessive rotations with the bag to rather leave some sugar leaves on than starting to grind the flower itself. These small little sugar leaf leftovers can just be flicked off when I want to smoke some flower.
The buds have been curing in the jars for a week and a half now. A big thank you to @CreX for his advise on another thread on how to revitalize Boveda packs. I followed his advise and was able to reuse all of the old ones.
So total weight of the trimmed flower boiled down to 419 grams (would have loved a 420 gram weight for obvious reasons) I also got about 55 grams of top shelf kief and trim which will be used later to make some bubble hash.
The top yielders were the Jelly Breath and OSG Cheese coming in at 65g's per plant and the lowest yielder was the Sunset Sherbet on 39g's. The Sunset Sherbet also turned out to be the most fluffiest and least terp heavy lady of the bunch..
A big shout out to my brother @The Grass Baas for lending me his trim bag and Rosin press set up.
So with a Rosin press in hand I wanted to press some flower. First started of with 30g's of Blunicorn in the rectangular puck format, double bagged with 130 micron bags (if I am not mistaken) at 87 degrees Celsius.
This was a very big let down as the yield was piss poor and the consistency of the Rosin very runny. So I scolded myself and just decided to listen to some sound advise. Second press run was with the Sunset Sherbet as for obvious reasons it would make a nice test batch.
I switched over to the bottle tech bagging technique, no double bagging, same micron and heat and this time round the results were epic. Used 24g's of flower and got to just under 3 grams of awesome product. Still not the Mr Canucks yield but we will get there. I also know that bubble hash will yield more so will give that a go in the future.
I am now eagerly awaiting my new dag rig setup from @THCSA which is en route. Once I have it I will be able to smoke some of this epic sticky goodness.
The lone clone is also doing exceptionally well outside. I have only watered her twice and not a drop of nutes and she is busting at the seems. I might want to take good care of her to have some nice Blunicorn to press again with the right technique.
For my last entry I will do the smoke report and also some feedback on more press runs. I will also then share what will be in the stable for my next run, a couple of new OSG strain seeds from @Golden-Goose
So here are some pics to fill in the gaps.

Here's our winner
Congratulations! You'll have received your coupon code from me by PM
Thank you so much, it's truly an honour and I am very thankful.
I will be pressing some flower from the recent harvest and blaze it up with a nice rig from @THCSA
Thank you to the judges, @420SA and @THCSA
I will post some pics once the set up is sorted.

"Plants and dry dagga to the street value of R600 000 were confiscated. A R4 million worth of structure that is reported to be used in the processing of the plants was also identified."
Get the fuck out of here... these reports always love to blow the prices and "equipment" out of proportion.. you can build an underground indoor set up with R4 mil WTF? And what gram price are they using to spitball R600k? Just seems like a lot of sensationalism to make an honest operation sound more dirty and mafia like...

I know of only one place that rents them and that's a place called Hydro Cult in Moreleta Park in Pretoria. This was before the pandemic though and I haven't been there since, but the point is that there are places that would rent them out.
Aaah the boys from Hydro Cult... Nice...
Bought some of my very first growing supplies through them.

I will be giving the trim bag a go with my current harvest courtesy of @The Grass Baas
The downside for me could be the total gram per plant that might be a little on the low side but will give it a go nevertheless as I hate trimming

Hi folks.
So the weather has been helping me out to get a very decent slow dry on the plants and keeping the temps nice and low.
6 of the 8 ladies came down on day 67 of flower. Those were the white bubblegum, white afghan skunk, purple dosidos, blunicorn, jelly breath, osg cheese. These have been drying for 7 days now..
The sunset sherbet came down on day 70 and SSH will come down tomorrow on day 75.
I am already very excited for the next run which will feature a couple more OSG strains, I wil share the names a bit later.
Here are some drying pics as well as a last shot of the SSH before she comes down.

That's pretty cool, I tried the Haifa nutes but moved away from them.
@CreX still uses them I believe.
Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
I think I have also seen a couple of big US players use the Haifa range.
Why did you move away?

Hi folks,
So today is day 64 of flower and I thought I would share some last pics of the ladies as I will start chopping on day 66.
First to go will be the Purple Dosidos, White Afghan Skunk, OSG Cheese, Blunicorn, White Bubblegum and Jelly Breath.
The Sunset Sherbet will probably fall close to day 70 and SSH probably around the 75 day mark (if not more)
The lone clone outside has also completed its reveg cycle and is looking happy with its succulent friends.

I got a really really awesome one from The High Co @THCSA I am sure you have seen them sponsor quite a few comps on the forum as well.
There might even be more options available which are not loaded on the website, reach out to them. You won't be disappointed.
I would suggest getting a rig where the banger sits flat and not at an angle (so a straight stem).
Thanx man. Yeah had a glance at their site and prices are reasonable and also some very cool designs.
I am fully with you for the flat banger as the carb cap would fit nice and tight on that.
I will give them a shoutout

Hi folks,
I have recently started enjoying some rosin dab with my friend and it is unbelievable how smooth it is and how pronounced the terps are.
So with that in mind I have to now get myself a rig as well to satisfy the craving.
Any suppliers or retailers that forum members can advise on will be most welcome. Since it will be a rather expensive purchase I want to make sure I get one that will be like a centre piece.
Thank you

@John Stonedwell same marking on stem as per your post. This is from my DP plant's one main stem. Some of the heavier branches has bruising from leaning against the cage but growth is so fast at the moment that i can't tell the difference unless i see it spread to other parts of the plant
Yeah man for your sake I truly hope that it is only the cage that left its mark. Terrible fungus this thing and kills with no remorse...
Keep us posted man but I have got my fingers crossed for you!

Both matchups are very good, each fight will represent the best of each fighter at this time. I do not doubt both Gane and Figueredo both have more than enough to take their respective opponents, they are both hungry.
I just think that Gane and the mind games with regards to his couch (whom is Ngannou's former couch) releasing those sparring videos of the two, and then Figueredo coming in really agro and with a bone to pick. I think Ngannou and Moreno are mentally at an advantage here, they are both way more chill coming into the fight.
True that they look cool calm and collected. The prefight post conference was funny though. It's like those guys are trying to do the whole banter thing but they really suck at it. We will be having a little UFC throwdown party and watch the fights live.
If Francis wins by crazy knockout it might be wise for Dana to renegotiate his contract as it would be a terrible loss if he leaves the UFC due to contract issues

Keep of the grass. How far should government go?

Hi folks.
Seldom do you get an article in mainstream media that is well articulated and objective in the interpretation of legaslative frameworks that could assist in laying a roadmap for the SA cannabis project.
Fair enough the article is not an essay as the technicalities of this subject does not offer a short and unanimous opinion but his approach is on point..
Less is more when you want to regulate cannabis based on the constitutional implications of certain sections like human dignity and the rights in the bill of rights.
He touches on the approach of alcohol and cigarettes vs cannabis..
I just wish the team working on the legislation can read this. Great opinion piece.
Have a read if you would like..
