  1. My 3rd year trying to grow grass in this damn garden, getting there though. Harsh out here in the full sun and wind. She gets some molasses when I mix for the shade house but not often. Leaving this one for the ants. Let's see. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  2. Was reading the other day about people using those green Oasis blocks that florists use. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  3. Lunch time boerie braai is update time. Had some molasses on hand yesterday so gave some to AntZilla. Gaining some height, not much, and still looking healthy.
  4. That's unlucky man. I've been using the Cue for some time and changed to the Vuse about 6 months ago with no problems. Have you approached Twisp directly. I usually pop into a shop when I had problems with the Cue and would walk away with a replacement no questions asked. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  5. Suppose it's a good time to tell my 75 year old neighbour to tone it down then. Dude woke up one day and decided it's legal now. Asked him what the fuck he's gonna do with so much weed and who is going to harvest. Haven't thought about that was the answer.
  6. Braai time again So this little one is about 7weeks old. Sun and hot winds nailing this little tough one. Stem the thickness of a decent King Size Slim joint and strong as a nail. Still the ants doing their thing and water. Took a cutting and cooked the poor things two days later when I forgot it outside while doing something. I see two possible candidates volunteering to become clones. I'll decide after the braai.
  7. Breeding I'll leave to you more experienced grower's for now. Indoors this round I'm gonna try and get a perpetual grow on the go. Outdoor in the shade house I need to up the game from 10l & 20l pots next season so raised beds of sorts are on the way. Worm bin became a worm farm very fast so should have ample castings and tea by then to top it off. You have anymore auto's up for sale by the way? Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  8. I'll admit I was a bit disappointed with the outcome of the Russian Fuel and the Vladimir Kush but then I did plant them when it was still a bit chilly outside and the male to female ratio was not great. Strawberry Vostok! Man. I'm kinda hooked on trying out more autoflowers now. Nice fat cola's almost the size of a quart bottle. Planted when temps outside were warmer. Your PePe Le Pew looking great so hope you don't stop playing with photoperiods completely. Shade house update being done Sunday. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  9. Take note on DC will kill you. So many people started growing out here and besides the shock factor farms have been razed to the ground because of dodgy electrics. The police did a sort of blitz in the area knocking on doors looking for grow set-ups purely to check for safe wiring. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  10. I think your father would have given me a clip behind the ear if he saw my electrical experience. I have just bought a larger than expected tent 2.4m x 1.2m x 2m. Blurple will be in the old cabinet for vegging. QB's in the tent for hopefully perpetual flowering. Or so that's the plan. Blurple (77w) will run 24 hours until I get another timer. QB's and fan's on for 12 hours. When I had everything running for 18 hours a day our household electric bill was round 800 bucks, 1200 when the wife bakes a month. Thinking 4 small pots under the 240w and 2 small pots under the 2 x 75w. Then the odd 50 bucks here and there is already finding its way into the kitty for the next piece of equipment. 11. Try and get your hands on one of these. Got mine from @growopz . 240w QB set at 220w 2 x 75w QB 300w blurple which only draws 77w 3 x fans Total Watt 516 This has helped a lot figuring out cost's. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm working on it bud. But man, not easy. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  13. Braai time = update. Still going strong. Ants doing a good job so far.
  14. It has just dawned upon me that this is 100% organic grow.
  15. I was planning on a few cuttings but want to make sure the plant is nice and strong first. Got an upgrade to my setup on the way and seen that I've chucked all my remaining seeds outdoors I've nadda to grow indoors. So hopefully once newish setup is operational AntZilla is ready for a trim.
  16. AntZilla going to sleep as the full moon rises on the West Coast. This little one is surely testing the elements out here. High temperature. Low to no humidity. Strong hot winds. Me forgetting to water. Only the ants feeding the soil.
  17. I know that stoner problem. Do the lights go on at 6 or did they go off at 6. Mmmmm? Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  18. It's the police distracting from the fact they stuffed up with the fire. Police are in charge of security at national key points or should I say the lack of security. That a homeless dude wandered into a fenced precinct, climbed through a window and took a stroll through a building that has security cameras on every corner. No one in the security control room noticed this. But our great police service caught the terrorist 3 hours later. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  19. Yep. I tend to just remove the juicy leaf. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  20. What I tend to do with my outdoors is give the plants a fairly good mist spray with the hose pipe once the plant is strong enough. A good spray under the leaves really disturb any of the pests plans. My main problem tends to be those miner things (forget correct name now) at the moment. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  21. I read on a previous thread about the meter box thingy was giving some guys problems so they disconnected it. My wattage fluctuates ever so slightly but my electric experience tells me to leave shite alone until I know what I'm doing. Reach out directly to @Light It Up, the guys are supper helpful. 22. Lime slices in Budweiser draught. Tequilas with Windhoek. Priorities mate. [emoji482] Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  23. Arm twisted. Bush Pub happy hour frosty. Time to cool down.
  24. My son and myself spent most of the day under the tree in a massive bin filled with water watching this plant getting nailed in the wind. Was wondering if I should put up some sort of protection but decided against doing that. If the ants wanted shade they would have chosen a shady spot. Some burnt tips but marching on. Science project mother nature continues.
