  1. Different stages of grow require diff light intensity bro. Least amount for seedlings. Medium amount for veg and max for flowering.

For adjusting. U gona have to check with the manufacturer. Cant tell u of hand.
Or maybe 1 of our members could assist.

I was gonna chime in with the adjusting but@growopz is already here. I'm sure they'd be able to help a bit more 'efficiently'... Lol.. See what I did there

  2. Yeah man trying to be efficient here lol, I could probably write off the first 3 weeks because I thought it would be a good idea to germinate my seeds under 2 12w cfls which gave me super stringy spindly seedlings but I fixed it luckily by installing those tubes. So it took 9/10 weeks. I think I could do it again in 8. But maybe 7 with new methods. And you bro? How long does it take you getting there? I wouldn’t want to veg any less than what I did now (For the strain). Very happy with the end height reached for a predominantly less stretchier strain in that makes sense.

Haha, yeah I've made the mistake of keepings cfls too far from seedlings before...
I veg for 6 weeks on average... Trying to cut it down to 5
A 6 week veg ends up filling my 70cm x 70cm tent quite nicely by the end of flower.

  3. @StickyD420  thank you for your opinion  im sad I did not know this befor buying the green house .... so I can veg them in the green house and then flower them in the sun?
You could just figure out a way to install an active or a few passive vents on the top of your greenhouse

  4. the plant will absorb the moisture from the air, and not the root zone, where you have added nutrients that you purchased and the air holds only moisture, and the plant will eventually become deficient in something or not fill the buds out properly.

Nice mention bro... Not many people know this, but its important.

It's the reason we keep clones in humidity domes for the first couple of days, they stay alive by taking in most of their water from the leaves until they develop roots.

  5. After reading this properly, its exactly what i'm doing next time lol. 4 nodes 8 main colas cleaned and trained from the bottom up. Very excited to see this method through. Involves about half the stress if that. FASTER FASTER!
Haha, it seems like the bets way to get a short veg and still try to maximise yield... And for good reason.

I'm also amped to see how it turns out... It will be a bigger version of my afghan kush tree I grew a while back... Had a very impressive structure

How long is veg for you at the moment? Like how many weeks.

@SAgrower does the greenhouse tunnel help with sunlight intensity?

I don't think it will.. The material would be better at diffusing the light so that the inside of the greenhouse is well lit all-round, it won't in increase intensity.

  7. Thanks bro! I've enjoyed this method, but i'm going to opt for a easier and less time consuming way next time round. Will see how it pans out.
Nice one man... My suggestion for the next run, if you still want to keep 4 plants, is as follows.

For each tree; Top below the 4th node around day 21, clean off growth from 1st node, and then train the 4 new mains sideways for about a week or 2 - until the tree is just under half the desired total height - and then flower.

  8. Also . Its f#@$ing hard to steady this lens. Big props too all u homies using the macro lens.  I tried right. First go. Heres some

Just spotted these now... Haha, practice makes perfect bro... Try to centralise the lens over your camera then zoom in to minimize the black vignette caused by the lens shroud or your cover. Nice shots though

If below the plants canopy, or more past the plants green zone, then it wouldn't matter at all, bigger the better, obviously within reason and without light leaks, possibly as suggested you close it with a netting for hairs and fluff and dust.

Added, one 200mm or bigger each side, opposed at that. Will be best.

A hole would help. But if u making a hole and end up getting another fan. I suggest u use the hole as an exhaust.

But in the mean time. Make sure u cover the hole with a nice kinda net. To precent unwanted dirt and insects.

    20200629_140916.jpg

The idea to have more exhaust is better, but with the problem @zolrooker is having with regards to high temps, it would be better to intake from below the trees and exhaust out the top, I feel it's more efficient at keeping the air around the trees a bit cooler than the air at the top of the grow space, waiting to be extracted. (I tested this with my tent by placing thermometers in the grow space at plant level, almost all the way up, and in the exhaust line)

I'm considering maybe cutting out a hole at the bottom or at the back of my cabinet. Would it make a big difference in the right direction?

My friend is considering the same thing right now because of the same problem. It will work, but wherever you're making it, just make sure that there isn't excess dust that is going to be sucked up through the gap.

But it will definitely make a difference for the better as there will be free, cool air available for intake at a less restrictive airflow.

I would like to know why some of my top buds on my plants are one day rock solid and the next like a spunge ?... I dont get it

could be due to the light intensity difference, maybe the bottom buds are getting too much shade? Also no extra nutrients for nice bud development may be an issue.

The tree in the first pic here looks to be having a rough time... conditions may be unfavorable but i can't pinpoint what's wrong.

The one in the second looks like its re-vegging tbh...

  13. Hey bud, yes I've got a fan blowing directly on top and under the light since last night.

Would I need to get another intake and exhaust fan? Or only exhaust will suffice?

I don't have any passive air intake

Okay cool let us know if the temps get any better.

I found that having a stronger exhaust will help a lot with lowering overall temperature because you're able to vent the space more often, giving the hot air less time to accumulate, since hot air rises and the exhaust generally sits above your light.

    I don't run intake fans.

  14. I think you and@SAgrower are right. I’m thinking of flipping this Friday.

The bigger tree is gonna take over a lot of the space when stretching... Don't feel bad to remove some bud sites if it gets too crowded... You could get some practice at cloning as well.

  15. Day26

More bondage, defoliating and topping today, am I doing it right @TheUltimateNoob? I left the tops on the side branches a little longer to see if it will stretch a bit to match the other set

I couldn't have done it better myself, for real if they were mine, it would be perfect and exactly what I aim for

Real nice job, very neat also.

  16. I rekon just get another fan to move more air around inside and get another or bigger exhaust fan.
As long as there is good movement of air u will be fine.
@TheUltimateNoob will tell u how hot his HID lights were in a very small space. But coz he had big fans moving air for that space. The plants were fine.
On the right track here bro.

And yeah,@zolrooker , my small HID lights would literally burn your fingers if you held it for more than a few seconds, but because my fans pulled air over the light and then exhausted it, the temps inside the enclosure never went above 26-27C.

I'm pretty sure I could pull off a full grow in it, will do so in a few months... But yeah, circulation is very important...

Also, if you could find any fan (even a pc one) and hook it up so that it cools your light, it will make a noticeable difference... You could even run 1 of the fans you have for circulation and the other just to cool your light.

Since your humidity is low anyway, and evaporative cooler might fix your issue, but once spring sets in the humidity will go up - and you're most likely going to be flowering not long after that - so I would find a way to drop the temps now first, and use the cooler only in veg due to the extra moisture it would add.

Cooling down your light and circulation will go a long way, and so will a bigger exhaust, as A.B mentioned in the comment I'm quoting.

  17. So guys, I've trimmed up all my buds, and have them in jars right now... I'll weigh them in after about 2 or 3 days in their jars with the 58% Boveda packs.

If I had to guess, I'd say its around 150g... Pretty low yield but I know what I did wrong this time.

By the end of trimming, I smoked a joint with a decent hash noodle, lost a small ball of scissor hash, and recovered an even bigger ball of scissor hash when I finally finished up all the buds.

Got a decent amount of some frosty trim as well.

    Here's a few shots, Enjoy 👌🏼
