It's the most aesthetically pleasing part about training this way, IMO.Love the symmetry

Awe brother, no worries, just trying to understand, to better guide or help you.
So like I thought at first, you have AF, and that means to me and my mind the following...
Having the plant outside all day, then bringing it inside, under either the 2 color temps of ACDC lights, 1x light only, then yes, you'll keep the plant awake, but you are not going to push enough PAR to make any difference in growth to the plant in that said time, inside.
Now being it had been an photo period plant, you'd have a reason to keep it just awake and not cause flowering.
Auto Flower, and 1x either light, would not be worth the electricity or time involved, and that is only my understanding, dont shoot me.
Pretty much on the money
If you want to extend the hours of light, it'll work just fine... But if you're trying to keep on developing buds with those lights in those extra hours, you're gonna need more than 2 lights for 1 plant IMO...
Although, the plant would have not been getting any light during those hours anyway, so it will help to some extent.

I speak of RH... Because of the VPD chart and the fact that cannabis is affected by temperature as well, not just humidity.Interesting. With regards to percentages usually referred to like@TheUltimateNoob just also mentioned. Do those talk about RH or AH?

I would suggest flowering when your trees are about a third to just under half the height you want them to be at the end of the flower stretch.

I missed this bit... Just going through all my notifications now. Sorry broProbably just simpler to get stronger intake and exhaust fan, if it's even needed (Current fans are 90m3/h in a space that's 0.8m3).. Haven't had humidity problems yet but just planning ahead.

But yeah it's easier to increase overall airflow, however, if your humidity is already high going into the grow space, what's the point you know?
It's good to plan ahead
If your RH creeps up on 65-70% though, be sure to inspect your trees for WPM consistently... Small patches can come up overnight and are easy to miss.
Below 65% I've never had a problem with WPM though. Air from the circulation fan in the tent hits like 90% of the leaves - which most likely helps a lot - ensuring no stagnant air.

Hey howzit@TheUltimateNoob. Sorry bud, just realized I've changed the topic of this thread, I'm sitting in a corner now with a spliff as punishment for the bad deed.
I'll start a permaculture thread soon as there is only a row of corn at the moment. It's gonna be a long haul though. A year or two before the 7 canopy layer will be readish.
Back to your built or bought, I would not know how to classify the . Gifted maybe.
Sorry once again.

Awe awe, no worries bro, as long as you getting some useful info.
Haha, hope that spliff did its job Someone will come along and drop another build in time
Will follow along with your thread man. I like watching how people upgrade their stuff, and read their reactions afterwards, lol. Takes me back to when I could afford the upgrades I wanted
Gifted for sure ... There's over 2000umols of light anywhere outside on a clear, sunny day... And that would be anywhere in direct sunlight.
So whatever safe chance you get to take advantage of the sun, take it.

The trichomes of the leaves will be the first to go yellow/amber.
As for the crimson red trich, that's dope.
Haven't seen one before but my best guess is that it's an amber trich, but because of it's size, makeup and refractive index, it's refracting the light to a point where it actually appears red.
Of course I could be wrong and that mf is actually red which would be sick
Just making an educated guess.
I've also seed strains secrete small blobs of resin like directly from the bud online... Looks like a small ball of sap just on the bud like - much bigger than trichomes though.

I would vote that it doesn't matterHey guys. I have been looking at the Jiffy pellets to propagate my seedlings, and I noticed that there are 2 types. One is the Jiffy pellet made from sphagnum peat, whilst the other is Jiffy C Coir pellet.
Does it matter which pellet option I choose if my final medium is going to be organic living soil??
Your advice is appreciated as always...

Bro just wanted to know, that with everyone using the 6000k led flood lights from, I think, ACDC - what's our thoughts on using the 2700k flood light for flower.I was just trying to understand it myself, haha
Added more to the post, maybe you can get me up to speed?

Shot, I figured bro. I just added the (s) incase there were 2 small trees in the space.I think he meant he can only fit one plant in the space, lights are small enough, I'm guessing here...
Thank you though

Yeah 1 should be fine to keep your tree(s) awake bro. I thought you wanted to run a full flower cycle with them.Shot bro. Grow space is small. So maybe will give 1 a try.

It'll work for that, I'm sureLooking at something soley for the purpose of extending daylight hours
It's a flood light so it puts a good amount of lumens, which will be enough to keep the tree awake.

Hi all.
Just wanted to check. . .
I see alot of people have experience using Cool white LED floodlights now for vegging. Which is around the 6000k range.
However. Has anyone tried or had any experience with a warm white LED floodlight? Used in the flowering stage? (2700k)
Would love to hear some feedback if anyone has some.
Well, I haven't used them but I can give you some feedback, I feel you would need to use at least 2 or 3 x 3500k units in the same space in which you were using a single 6000k light to veg.
I assume they would be using the SMD2835 led diodes, which are pretty bright compared to some older SMD-xxxx leds and seems like the option to
So with that in mind, they should work IF you keep the lights decently close enough to provide enough usable light during flower, and having 3 units will give you a nice spread of light coverage.
If you have them too far, you're gonna end up with small buds and a disappointing harvest.
So yeah, I think they would work...
If you grow with it well, you could get like 0.8-1gpw... That's my guess.
Since its 2700k, I think will have more PAR than the 3000k version due to the spectrum levels... So all in all, you can flower with them. Just don't expect anything great.

When some nice colours start to come out, I'd like to take a drive over to your side and view them in person if you don't mind.
My chick has always gone nuts over different coloured weed.
She even bought a 5 pack of Purple Queen by RQS off B&B so we can grow some of our own . Gonna start them off in about 2 months.

I think people like you and me will have a tough time to establish a business unless you got friends in the right places.
Not promising anything to anyone, but I may be this person.
Been planning a legal commercial grow for a while but funding is an issue.
Working on a unique product (since I'm a chemist) using weed, and if I can get the formula and processes just right I'm pretty sure I can secure some agreement to grow on a large scale to produce what I need.
If ever it comes to light, which I'm hoping it will, it means South Africa will have a reason to commercially grow weed.
What I need is ways to extract cannabinoids and terpenoids and then use them by themselves... I don't have the means or the cash, but I have the knowledge...
I've worked with fractional distillation, regular, rotovap applications and a bunch of other equipment while doing my course and a bit after.

If its too crowded you can expect to hit 70% RH a but often I guess... Maybe even some PM that you can keep at bay with some regular maintenance. Those ones are a bit too pricey brother. I just thought I could find a cheap solution that could even make a small difference.... Will see how it goes.. I haven't had any problems with humidity so far, but once my cupboard is like a forest I'm not sure what to expect lol
I suffer with high RH sometimes and I just increase the air circulation inside the tent or increase extraction speed if it gets pretty bad.

There's just too much of info on everything honestly... As soon as you learn about humidity, you hear of VPD... Once you know VPD, you learn you can push limits if you're using CO2...
It just keeps adding on top of the old information...
But whenever I mention humidity, I mean RH unless I state otherwise.
Thanks for the clarification between the 2 though.
