  1. Hey G, what is your budget? What can you spend on your grow on a monthly basis? Monthley expences is a good place to start in this ecomomic situation we find ourselves in. It does not help you buy the most expensive equipment and you cannot afford to run it. Enjoy your time here. Experiment allot. We all have.
  2. This time of the year you have to veg inside for at least 4 to 6 weeks. Then you can pop it outside to flower. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. It looks good. I would not be to worried this late into flower. As long as the upper leaves dont yellow. Take off the leaves as they go completely yellow.
  4. Awé, what are you studying?
  5. 85w cfl is more than sufficient.
  6. I have grown quite big plants under a 50w cob. Problem comes when you want to flower.
  7. How big do you want to grow your plants under the lights? If you are looking for a veg light buy a propper grow light and dont mess around with these. I only use these untill the clones have rooted. Then They go in the veg tent.
  8. Just get some led lights I have 4 x 9w leds for my clones. I just removed the covers. They are R200 each.
  9. Well airy buds will have something to do with your lights or the genetics. What lights are you growing with? One fan oscelating fan should do the trick. Do you have a carbon filter on your fan?
  10. Why dont you grow them 12/12 from the start? I will swop. Where are.you? KZN?
  11. You can get panda plastic from the grow shops. Light and reflective walls are not.the most important thing though it is the dark cycle that you should worry about.
  12. The greenhouse powder feed should do the trick. Super easy to use. I think the hortishop has in stock.
  13. Try a pakistani, bangladeshi or spaza shop. The guys around the corner is still selling papers
  14. What are you growing in? When I grew in coco i used either greenhouse calcium or calmag from greenhydro.
  15. Depending on where you are based nights may be to cold and wet for plants atm. But you don't need an expensive set up to grow your own. You can build a small hoop house for less than R 1500 and be able to grow year round. Auto Flowers need proper soil to start off with. They should also not be transplanted except if you are a seasoned grower and have mastered the art. PM me if you need advise.
  16. Hoop house. Is probably the easiest to build. There are lots of plans and videos on the net. Green house plastic is cheap and eazily obtained. If you want a more permanent structure the clear polycarbonate roof sheets with plastic or net sides. You must also think how would this structude be cooled in summer. Mabe construct it so that the sides can be raised in summer for better ventilation.
  17. You need to look around here in Cape Town there is alot of second hand equipment on line. Rather buy a new lights.
  18. Hi Miles What part of the country are you?
  19. I avoid that place as my girlfriends ex is one of the employees. But ja they are an option. Also clear IRB will do the trick aswell. I have seen some real dank come from a north facing wall with Clear polycarbonate roof sheets and 60% shade cloth side walls.
  20. We should be able to sort you out a structure. I have seen some amazing things and i think it is actually not that expensive. One has to grow and evolve to make gardening work for you.
  21. Seeds for Africa sells it. But I am sure if you contact ghtech in somerset west you could get it for half the price.
