Seems ridiculous though. For the next 12 months people can now sell these products across SA wherever they want. Correct me if I'm wrong there. Who will be regulating/testing these products for compliance? Who's gonna test oom Willie's CBD oil being sold at the monthly farmers market in Vryheid? Seems like they're trying to exercise control over something that can't be controlled and they're not sure how to go about it. Same goes for the whole CBD workaround/smokescreen thing in general

No prescription is needed for the next 12 months... so anyone who is able to get their hands on a product that fits within the guidelines can sell it... if you can afford the expensive equipment needed to isolate then you can make it yourself

I'm not saying that using chlorinated water is advised over using dechlorinated water. I just don't think its worth the effort when growing in hydro. Like Totemic said the water really isn't that bad. @Shaun Let it sit for 24h if you really want to. Maybe there is a small benefit to nutrient uptake but I don't think it will be much at all. I wouldn't delay a feed over it.

You need to be between 5.5 and 6 before feeding. The water needs to go a light orange when testing with the drops. You've transplanted from soil to coco/perlite so now you should consider your medium to be hydroponic and hydro prefers that PH. Don't worry about the chlorine in the tap water and letting it sit, that's best applied when growing with soil. You're growing hydro now so there's no need to worry about the microlife, the salt nutrients will be reducing the microlife anyway. You actually wanna go as sterile as possible if you wanna do hydro properly in my opinion

What PH are you feeding with and what are you using to measure PH?
