How is their perlite? Are the perlite "stones" very fine or are they of a decent size?
-
Agreed there a plenty variables at play and surely they must have answers to all these concerns. One would hope that if they lose your crop they would compensate you but then again you are leasing a space and not paying for the bud so yet another big question there If these guys can do it, anyone can do it including you. I may be wrong but what this effectively means is that you can rent out an empty room in your house to a handful of people and grow their bud for them. Not so? Good way of making some money out of an empty space in your house Depends how much you smoke lol 20-30 g's won't last me a month! So this wouldn't be an option for me or many of us on here
-
So here's my maths.... if you get the claimed 20-30g's every 2 months we're looking at this: R949-00 x 2 = R1898-00. Factor in the price of 2 seeds which I will put at R200 a seed so that's an extra R400-00. That puts total cost to the customer per 2 months at R2298-00 If you get the minimum of 20 g's of bud. R2298-00 divided by 20 gives us R114-00/gram. If you get 30 g's that's R76-00/gram. Where on the street do you get indoor grade cured bud for that price? It's essentially cost price. I can also guarantee you, come the day we have proper dispensaries, I doubt the prices will be lower than this. Just wanna make it clear I don't know or have any affiliation to these guys. I just don't, from the face of it, see any reason to bash it. This is no Cannapax IMO

Lol thanks for that! Milk does work and you proved it

They are not The High Co. They're called The Haze Club. The High Co is a separate entity entirely. Also they are not a shop, but rather a service provider... from what I can tell

Wouldn't the SAPS have to tread lightly around the matter given the high value of such an operation and the money invested in it? Would the onus still not have to be on the SAPS to prove that this facility is dealing illegally? They also stand to lose a lot if they get it wrong don't they? @The Silverback are you a representative? How would you feel about answering some questions here?

What will they do if you don't pay this "licence fee"?

Welcome @Trichosa Nice to have another growing veteran with us. Feel free to share with us what you've learn't (and grown) over the years

About your electricity bill?

Growweedeasy can be a bit misleading at times. They've got a lot of basic info that's very useful but some info is misleading and doesn't always apply. Sometimes growers, myself included, have taken growweedeasy as gospel just cause they're first result on google. Being #1 on google doesn't mean it's the right answer. Read further, read forums, that's where the first hand info is. There are other factors at play here. Not just the tips are yellow. The one fan leaf a few nodes down is receding on the edges as well. @Oolong83 have you seen any further deterioration since moving the light further up?

Has always been a good sign as far as Ive been aware. Perhaps there's a point where it becomes an issue Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Praying leaves is your goal. It means your plants have good root pressure and your vapour pressure deficit is good i.e conditions are good. It also means that its enjoying the light and not suffering from too much of it
-
Nutrient burn isn't the only culprit when it comes to dead/burnt tips. Potassium def can also cause this. If you've got a burnt appearance around the edges of the leaf as well, K def is a high possibility. I'm seeing that to some effect on one of your leaves there

Correction they say 20-30+ grams You cant expect much from a 2 month plant though so 20-30 g's does sound about right. It's not ideal this system but it's an option for those who can't grow their own
-
Says 20-30 grams every 2 months which works out to R63-00/gram if they achieve 30 grams. Turnaround is slow and you don't get much bud but the price isn't too bad if they grow your plants out well. Obviously still cheaper to grow at home but the guys need to be paid for their services
-
Why do you say 14 months? Didn't you mean weeks?
-
Where do they get this kak from? That sounds like the old police guideline to distinguish between possession and dealing. It comes down to the state proving that you are selling now. The latest police directive that I'm aware of mentions nothing about amounts... just about proof that you are dealing

There's some other entity in Oudtshoorn who are doing the same thing. Forgot their name but the guy was on the hotbox show. Gotta be honest. It's a clever way of stepping around the current laws.
-
Will definitely be looking into it this year

Check on the packaging there. It says "African genetics bred and developed in America". It is their seeds
-
Is that not their own bred genetics?

Just so you guys know where things are... The software upgrades have been purchased. As you can see the Gallery is already up and running. In the background I'm working on: A portal home page - this will be like a central hub for the forum. Currently a lot is being squeezed onto the main Forums page. A home portal page will relieve the forums page of the clutter and will feed more activity in a better arranged manner. Grow Reports Page - Over here you'll be able to submit your own grow reports which will feature a whole bunch of data on your grow including images. You'll be able to submit your grow report through a form after which the grow report will be tabled out neatly for everyone to see. Essentially we'll be building a database on genetics and how they perform under different conditions, feeding regimes etc. Will keep you guys posted
