  1. Wedding Cake weigh-in! Between the 6 WC plants I managed to harvest a total of 215g This WC bud smells super good. Sweet vanilla with a hint of that powerful weed diesel smell. Still a little hint of chlorophyll so the cure must continue! I have found that a minimum of two months cure is the sweet spot for an impatient smoker luckily I have a good supply now so I can practice patience a bit with the curing!

  2. update overdue, been 3 weeks. Blueberry Hashplant trimmed and in jars, came out to 75g, burping them daily, smells like.... some stinky weed.... doesn't smell like anything I can put my finger on, all I can say is it's good weed. got a clone of her in flower again, but will probably be the last time growing her. she made a few nice fat buds, rock hard, but could be denser. here's a few photos @Khakibos @ORGANinc. what's good man, I remember you saying you keen to see what the Bodhi - BlueberryHP does, here she is - could be better I give her a 5 or maybe a 6 out of 10..... here's the outdoor Blueberry Hashplant, this plant was 1/4 of the size of the indoor plant, so I didn't weigh her. gave her a budwash as she's been getting all sorts of dirt on her standing outside. don't know who of you have tested this, but there's no doubt in my mind that a budwash also speeds up the drying process. not that we want quicker drying, just something to take note of. if it doesn't make sense and seems counterintuitive, test it! you'll see outdoor BlueberryHashplant Next, we have the Sugarcane finally hanging, she got the chop about 2 nights ago. Tent got cleaned out. made it smell like a hospital in there, left it for 24hrs... moved the vegging ladies over, they actually been on 12/12 in the veg tent for about 2 weeks already, so we're heading towards the end of week 3 of flower for these girls. French Macaron Chernobyl Frosted Apricot Super Cheese Blueberry Hashplant That's all for now, folks

  3. Picture above is the Skywalker Haze auto from Dutch passion. Then a group photo. Then sour apple auto from HSC. Then the Pluto cut auto then the Planet of the grapes both ethos. Then gorilla cookies from Fast Budz 420. Last pic is of the 2 Bobby’s Widow males they have been Isolated in the other tent. The sour apple is ready to be pollinated just waiting for the pollen to be dropped.

  5. Exactly the type of input I need sensei I feel like I may now remove my white belt and replace it a yellow belt and i'm now worthy of proper seeds. On a serious note thanks for the input, it makes encouragement and what you said makes totally sense. Any recommendation on some seeds ? Being the zombie apocalypse type of guy I prefer to buy regular seeds with the possibility of getting a male which can be used to pollinate to make more.

  6. @Ponica take a moment to pat yourself on the back because this is proof you can grow a weed plant. now the next step is to get you to grow some good weed.. the chances of ending up with good weed when growing bag seeds or random seeds is a chance that is slim to none. respected breeders will not breed outdoors, indoor growers will isolate breeding projects, so having seeded indoor weed is either a mistake that was made during growing or somehow stray pollen got sucked into the flower tent. if it's outdoor seeded weed then it's up in the air with the parents. probably some ditch weed parents or some Uncle Piet down the road that don't know to pull out his males, and trust me you don't wana spend time growing a offspring that came from someones plant who doesn't yet know to pull out his males. if you put a super dank strain outdoors to flower and get seeds off it, it was pollinated by stray pollen and I wouldn't even suggest growing those out as it will be a waste of time, even though one of the parents was a super dank strain. I would write this one up as completely experimental, because growing some random seeds you don't know what to expect of will not be a true testimony to your skills or the quality of your growing equipment. that might be the best that the genetic could ever look but on the other side of the knife, it could also be the worst... you could only really guage that if you have something to reference it to. my advice will be to get either some clones or some reputible seeds for future grows. also stick to one medium for now. if you wana test a bunch of stuff, make sure you have a control measurment. for example, if you testing what soil works best you need to grow clones of the exact same plant in different soils so there's no phenotypical difference in the plants at least. if you wana test genetics and you wana pop different seeds to find the best phenotype, do it all in the same soil.... otherwise you getting a whole mix masala and you don't really get any true answers from your experiment. I would suggest Freedom Farms Premium classic paired with Biobizz Grow, Fish & Bloom. + legit clones/seeds you'll be gold.

  8. Welcome to the thunderdome, boijies. In this diary I will be recording my grow for the year 2022, blunders, wins, alas. I have recently made some very nice improvements to my overall setup since my last diary and I think equipment wise there won't be much else to upgrade, so from this point on the focus is going to be on refinement of the setup, efficiency of the process and perfecting the strains in my stable. Speaking of strains, my stable/veg tent currently consists of the following strains which I have collected over the years: Zkittlez x Purple Punch - Ripper Seeds (ZxP) KmintZ - Ripper Seeds (KM) Gorilla Zkittlez - Barneys Farm (GZ) Aurora Indica - Nirvana Seeds (AI) Grand Daddy Purple - Blimburn Seeds (GDP) Tortoni F1 - Totemic (T1) Wedding Cake - 1000 Hills Nursery (WC) A solid seven strains. At the moment if I wanted another strain, I would try my best to swap it out rather than accommodate it. The space in the veg tent is comfortable enough to hold at least one mother plant of each strain, enough plants for the next round in the flower tent, and also enough unrooted clones to replace the plants that go into the flower tent. It's called perpetual growing, china. The veg tent is a 1.2mx1.2mx2m LiteHouse LITE grow tent with a 120W QB LED (set to 80W) at about 1.2m high from the ground, light schedule is 18/6 from 6pm to 12pm. I have found this to be the sweet spot all year round for all the veg plants, mothers, clones, they all good. I can get my plants to a nice 1m height before popping them in the flower tent. In addition, I also have a 59W 4 inch extraction fan set on low which exhausts air from inside the tent to outside the room through a window. The window has a custom fitted duct port which allows the room to remain sealed even with the exhaust venting outside. Lastly I have a 425W heat panel which I fixed to a wooden frame to allow it to sit upright at the back of the tent. This heater is connected to a Sonoff switch which is connected to the WiFi and regulates the heat within the tent automatically at a minimum of 22C. The average currently is about 25C (mid Jan) but sometimes, especially with the rains lately, the temp can dip but it will never dip below 22C in this tent. Humidity sits at an average of 70%. The flower tent is a 1.2mx2.4mx2m LiteHouse LITE grow tent. I have also upgraded to AutoPots. From what used to take me 1-2 hours every 2-3 days to water my plants by hand now takes me 20mins once a week. This has been an absolute gamechanger as I can now really focus on timing my veg tent and perfecting the strains going into the flower tent. Not getting absolutely sticky with resin every time I water is a nice plus too I have harvested 6 plants (ZxP) once already about two weeks ago as a test run using the AutoPots. I have another 6 plants (ZxP) currently going which are due to be harvested by the end of this month and I have also just recently planted 6 more ZxP which are the younger looking plants to the left of the flowering plants. First impressions have been fantastic. Compared to using fabric pots, I can see all the benefits and more. I have also installed each AutoPot with an airdome and I pump fresh warm air to the root zone for 12 hours a day following the same time as the light time schedule. I can see the same kind of growth that I used to see back when I grew using DWC. When I investigated the roots after the first harvest, the airdomes were just smothered in healthy white roots. Very nice. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that my pH pen was whack and I fear the last harvest may have been deficient during the ripening stage due to incorrect pH of the feeding nutrient. This will be one area of focus going forward to improve the overall grow. I have also invested in two new 35W Sansui Box Fans which I have attached to the ceiling of the flower tent. I had a few spots of bud rot due to the fokin heavy rains in the Highveld this Summer so improvements needed to be made to make it through humid times. I obtained a 450W GMC 26 Litre Dehumidifier that I keep running within the grow room outside of the tents. From these upgrades, my flower tent humidity has gone from 70%+ to sub 49%. I can also run my 62W 6 inch extraction fan on low (same setup as veg tent i.e. exhaust outside via duct in window) just to simply move stale air from inside the flower tent to outside and slowly bring fresh air in via the gaps in the door to the room through negative pressure created from the flower and veg tent fans exhausting air outside. The lighting power is three 240W QB LEDs (set to 160W) that I pair with 6 plants each on a 12/12 light schedule from 9pm to 9am. Initially when I transplant into the flower tent I will start at about 60cm from the canopy and over a week or two move the LEDs closer to about 30cm to the canopy. I find this enough to give the plants used to the higher light intensity without having to change my wattage settings every time I do a transplant. The idea is to grow and harvest in sets of six. Each set of 6 AutoPots have their own 46L reservoir containers so I can regulate the food to each set of six independently, which allows me to do plants at different stages and also different strains. Harvests are also only 6 plants at a time and not a solid 18 at a time. I am still getting the timing right to get a harvest consistently timed between each other, so that will be fun also to figure out. Something like once a month or so would be hot. The flowers have gotten big enough in the last few harvests that they flop around like big 'ol dicks, so I will be adding a net across the tent after I have harvested these last 6 plants and have planted new plants into all the empty AutoPots. Tying up the buds has been a mission so I'm hoping the net will help in that regard. I haven't gotten a chance to fully utilise the nets yet so that will be a first. In the empty set of six AutoPots I have at the moment I will be doing a round of Gorilla Zkittlez. To replace the current 6 flowering ZxP that will be harvested soon I have 4x KmintZ which are being grown for the first time from seed and are the latest addition to the stable. I will also substitute 2x ZxP plants to total that set of 6. The KmintZ are a supposed 'upgrade' to the lineage associated with ZxP, so pairing them shouldn't be a problem. I just recently took another batch of ZxP clones to replace the Gorilla Zkittlez when those harvest. After that however, it's a roll of the dice. Maybe we decide together what comes next from the stable, maybe I throw a dart on a board, who knows. Whatever is decided, I need to take those clones in at least 3 weeks time from now in order to be ready to plant into the flower tent come harvest time. I'll have a good idea of how to really time everything perfectly as we go so that as I harvest I already have a batch ready to go to replace those plants. Right now, taking at least 6+ clones every 3 weeks has worked out quite well. When I have things dialed in, I will write up a rough formula for all to enjoy! Or perish! It's ya boi. ***Harvest Dates - Weigh-Ins*** 2022 05 January - 87g ZxP 18 January - 136g ZxP 28 February - 257g ZxP 04 March - 173g GZ 12 April - 65g ZxP 12 April - 159g KM 06 May - 188g ZxP 12 May - 215g WC 06 June - 168g ZxP 27 August - 796g ZxP 21 October - 377g ZxP - 80g WC - 135g OMG 28 November - 827g ZxP

  12. just wana mention if you grow a clone it is the replica of the plant it came from, so people typically go for clones over seeds to guarentee a good phenotype. with seeds there are greater chances of ending up with something you don't like, even if you grow a batch of seeds from a strain you like. in this case you buy a bunch of the seeds, enough to do something called a "pheno hunt". this is where you work your way through all the seeds and find the best one and go from there. if you buy a pack of regulars and plan to breed, buy a pack of 10 or more seeds and be sure to find the best male and best female before crossing all willy nilly and making more work for yourself than anything else. if you birth a batch of 300 to 500 seeds and it's all just from the first male and female you could find, you gona spend a lot of time being dissapointed growing out 300 seeds just to find out none of it was worth the time or effort. rather work on getting your hands on a female you like through finding the right clone, then get your hands on some regulars of something you also like and find the best male in the pack, then cross those two. you can spend quite some time "pheno hunting" the batch of seeds from this breed. they'll be regular seeds again as you knocked up a female with a male. if you wana make feminised seed you have to reverse a female. If you just looking to have some fun and make some seeds then you can go on any of the local seed banks and get anything that sounds and looks nice to you. I see a lot of support for Trophy seeds. Look at Inhouse Genetics or Ethos Genetics stuff, but honestly there's a bunch and every second breeder has something crazy good.

  21. Hi thanx for the warm welcome... To answer your question ...no i have nothing growing right now....I stopped growing for a while when my son was born as it was still against the law in sa that time...since then I have been gagging to get started up again....but had sold and got rid of all my genetics and equipment....but now I'm getting lined up to start a small new grow just for personal consumption...where I use to grow to breed genetics and make dank crosses as well as I use to beta test genetics for certain seed banks ...I'm inlove with mj and breeding genetics but that takes a lot of space and gear as well as time I don't have...I'll get there again...well that's the plan.... So what I got now is a few strains in clone form a buddy is keeping them for me....I got a 5 bucket dwc/drip system 600 watt hps ...in a 1200x1200 grow tent...for flowering and for vegging I do the motherless system so I veg my cuts in the airocloner to size I desire before putting em.into flower So probably by the weekend I'll have my cuts collected and stuck into my tent Strains I'm holding are Pie face Bb cheese Blue dream Slurricane Sdv 3 Kyle kushmans strawberry cough the elite clone only strain Dabney blue elite clone only strain So my mate has been growing them and kept them going for me for the last few years.....I lost loads of genetics that was traded and breed from independent breeders from across the world and hence the reasons I joined here...hopefully link some decent growers share strains and info maybe even make a some friends
