PsyCLown
Howdy! So been a while since I last had a grow diary. New year, new grow! Decided to skip through the boring veg part - but to bring you all up to speed I got some seeds from @Golden-Goose and BnB (all regulars). Popped them on 31 December and flipped most on 20 Feb (from seed takes quite a bit longer than from cutting). So I got the following seeds: GG Wedding Mints (GG Strains) Critical Banana (Old School Genetics) Pineapple Chem (Golden Goose) Dosi Punch (Symbiotic Genetics) I had fucking horrible luck with the Dosi Punch, only ended up with 1 seedling which stunted and is still in veg. Hoping it is female. BnB won't do anything, the breeder has not responded to me - waste of money unfortunately. Hope this plant makes it worth it though. All other seeds germinated without issues. I think there is also one GG Wedding Mints in veg as that plant was taking its time and I did not want to wait any longer to flip as some plants were getting pretty darn tall already. I have already culled 6 or 7 males, there is one more plant which I am certain is male - will double check tonight and cull it if it is infact a male. At the same time, I decided to try a bit of an experiment and have put some plants into 10L pots, no training. See how that does in terms of yield and convenience. So this grow diary is a bit of a mix between some plants being grown from seed, as well as an experiment and to ensure the tent is full, I will likely be adding a few other plants into this tent to flower them. I plan on adding a Banizzle from @THCSA which is a Jungle Boys cross. The bud I saw from this plant looked fantastic and the bud I got to try was superb! The plant I have is from seed so hopefully it is female and we shall see what pheno I get. However I do plan on buying a pack of the Banizzle and some other seeds from Lank Dank Seedbank in the very near future! As for the experiment with the 10L pots, I have a mix of plants - some I have run before which are frosty AF but low yielders, some which I have run before which yield well but lack frost and some which I have not run before and have no clue what to expect. These are the strains in the experiment: Platinum Punch (In House Genetics) Bananium (In House Genetics) Crescendo (Ethos) Zweet Insanity (Ethos) Citradelic Sunset (Ethos) x2 I do not think I will be focusing much on the experiment, more on the other plants in the 20L fabric pots. Here is a pic I took over the weekend after I did a defol. The plant at the back which is still busy.... pretty sure its a male. 9

I know there is potential for some serious Gas on Gas = GAS! So a quick update, checked that tall plant in the back which did not get a defol and turns out it's female! So that is a win. Need to do a defol on her, likely tonight. Will do an update over the weekend with a tally of what all is in the tent and which plants from seed are still in veg (I think there are only 2 stragglers).

PsyCLown
So turns out that plant at the back is female! Did a defol on it. So I have the following inside the tent: 2x GG Wedding Mints (different phenos) (20L) 2x Critical Banana (different phenos) (20L) 1x Pineapple Chem (20L) 1x Banizzle (20L) 1x Crescendo (20L) 1x Crescendo (10L) 2x Citradelic Sunset (10L) 1x Bananium (10L) 1x Platinum Punch (10L) 1x Zweet Inzanity (10L) I have 1x GG Wedding Mint and the 1x Dosi Punch in veg still. Will flip once they're a bit bigger and see whether they're male or fem. They won't be part of this grow diary though.
PsyCLown
So let's do a bit of an update shall we. Not the best pictures - apologies and the phone makes it seem as if there are some serious dark spots in the tent which is not the case. When I receive my new phone, hopefully the I will be able to take some better quality pics. Here we have the Platinum Punch: The Bananium: Pineapple Chem: Critical Banana: The GG Wedding Mints, stacking nicely. Canopy shot, cannot remember of what - I think the Crescendo and Pineapple Chem... I am happy with everything in this tent so far. Was hoping to see a bit more frost on the GG Wedding Mints but maybe they will catch up with time. The Critical Banana seems to be packing on the frost already and obviously the In House strains are doing the same. 5
Golden-Goose
I'm so amped to see that critical banana perform. One of the strains I would like to run myself as well.

One of the strains I would like to run myself as well. So far I am really liking what I see! Still early days though. The critical banana has been impressive from seed, hardly plants and been super easy to grow. Results look pleasing so far. Will obviously be doing more updates as the grow progresses and once we can see more bud development on the plants then I will take of each plant and list the name and number. For those wondering, this is the write up on the Critical Banana: CRITICAL MASS (BILBO CUT) X BANANA PUNCH by Old School Genetics Critical Mass (Bilbo cut) is one of the most cultivated cuts of all time. This cut is extremely productive, with an intoxicating aroma of sweet fruit and musk. I used a selection of Banana Punch from Symbiotic Genetics as my male, looking for that perfect combination of old and new. This is what the Banana Punch looks like: Nice frosty strain, however it suffers from smaller buds like majority of the frosty strains out there. Critical Mass is known for it's big donkey dicks... So combining the two, hopefully gets us a nice mix between bud size, density, and frost while keeping some of the great terps from both. This is a picture of the Critical Banana: I If I can get a pheno with nice dark leaves and darker bud to help make the trichomes pop, good yield and frost and some sweet, sweet terps. 6
Golden-Goose
That looks so fucken good. This one has more banana terps than the Banana Haze
PsyCLown
So a quick update, been quite busy and weekends have been busy too. So here is a pic of the plants in the smaller pots - the experiment part. Amongst them, towards the rear is the Platinum Punch - as you can see she is fast when it comes to flowering. Also there is the Bananium: Then moving on to some of the seeds, we have the Critical Banana. Frost is not going to be on the same level as the above 2 In House Genetics strains however frost is there and the she seems to stack quite nicely. A close up of each pheno and then a pic of the one to show her stacking. Then last but not least I snapped some pics of the GG Wedding Mints which at this point I am rather disappointed by. Very leafy and tiny buds... Hoping she packs on some weight and continues to do so over the next few weeks before harvest. I know the coco is not 100% and I suspect EC has built up in it, taking measures to avoid this with the next grow. Wondering and hoping the GG Wedding Mints is just sensitive to this and that is the cause for her poor performance (so far), however I somehow doubt it. 4
Golden-Goose
Looking good bro. It's a pity about the GG Wedding Mints, but that's how it goes sometimes unfortunately.

Not the end of the world, maybe a rerun will prove for better results as you say, but other plants looking fire! my gg#4 is looking quite promising I’m happy to confess, nice terps too.

Yeah, I like to run a plant twice before discarding it although some aren't even worth running again.I'll run the gg Mints once more at least. Will try with some fresh coco out the bag on the gg Mints next time around. There is also a bit of burn on the leaves from a foliar I did with lights on... Because time was an issue. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk yeah lol, I get quite annoyed when shit like this happens, and I certainly brought these fuckers in from a friend of mine who gave me a cutting of CREPES from Lit farms, this I still cant guarantee, but those bugs were on it when it arrived. Now they wrecking the flowering plants. They will have to run their course until I harvest, which I too am still excited for.
PsyCLown
So a brief update. Some pictures I took yesterday. GG Wedding Mints #4 GG Wedding Mints #1 Critical Banana #3 Critical Banana #2 Pineapple Chem Crescendo - both plants are from Canna Clone, not sure if one is just less happy or if these are two different strains? Zweet Inzanity Bananium: Platinum Punch: All plants are 6.5 weeks into flower now. The GG Wedding Mints seem to be adding on a bit of weight at least, hopefully they continue to do so up until harvest! 3

PsyCLown
So this diary has kinda come to an end. I harvested most of the plants last night, both Critical Banana look really nice. Will sample and inspect further once dry and trimmed and decide which pheno I will be keeping however so far I am very keen to run the Critical Banana again. The GG Wedding Mints improved a bit towards the end, I took some quick pics of each pheno. Will run them again and hopefully get better results, if they are not better than I will probably drop them from my rotation. I expected more from them. The In House Strains came out looking amazing and beautiful! Both the Bananium & Platinum Punch, such a rewarding strain to grow as the trim is easy and the buds sparkle nicely. Nice dense nugs. The one Zweet Inzanity ended up hermieing quite badly and pushing balls. The Citradelic Sunset came out alright, big, heavy bud with decent frost. This is a strain I have since dropped though. The one Crescendo was lacking frost and very unhappy, the other one is still in the tent as she went into flower 7 days after the others. The Banizzle and Pineapple Chem are also both in the tent still, giving them a but more time to mature. The Pineapple Chem actually split her stem while I was in the tent, the one cola flopped over. So I had to do some surgery with electrical tape. Yield looks as if it will be really good and frost does not look terrible, nowhere near the level of frost from the In House Genetics plants but a reasonable amount. I will try post some bud pics once some of the bud is dried and trimmed, especially of the GG Wedding Mints & Critical Banana. They were the 2 I was most excited for, perhaps more excited for the GG Wedding Mints but turns out the Critical Banana seemed to be the better plant this time around - although neither of mine had the nice colouring of the pheno I posted earlier in this thread.
