  1. Apologies if i came across as a doos but seriously. This semi auto thing is getting to me. There is no such thing as also mentioned by some of our more experienced growers on this forum.

I like your grow and will gladly follow along but please get over the semi auto part brother.

@420SA pls clean up this thread to where the semi auto debacle took off. I would like to see this man's progression and also to keep positive vibes. If you don't mind. Thanks

  2. Sorry to hijack your thread @rdc420 but there's something that i need some answers to from the forum members in the know.

After my post of my broad DP leaf it was concluded that it was not a pure landrace strain and most probably crossed with Afghani or Skunk or whatever down the line. I get that.

But with this strain the description is exactly the same as with my DP although it was classified as a pure Sativa also. The hunt for a pure Sativa seems like a dead end.

These are autos that work a little different because the autoflower trait didn't come from Ruderalis.

For it to be an auto it had to be crossed with a Ruderalis. Please tell me more about this strain. Sounds interesting.

The indoor flowering period is 9 - 11 weeks. However, Sativas can finish faster outdoors.

Thats pretty standard flowering times for a photoperiod. I take it that this is not a fast flowering or auto strain then?

Do you leave them outside permanently or introduce a dark cycle indoors/tarp to get them to flower so early? Normally outdoor photoperiods will only start flowering round about about this time of the year.

These are semi-autoflowering landrace Sativas that express both THC and CBD. The semi-autoflowering trait causes them to start flowering after about 6 weeks, or if they become root bound, or if they detect that the photoperiod is shortening.

    Fast flowering?

  6. Where about are you located for them to be so far into flowering? My outdoor plants are still vegging hard here in the South West. Sorry read like my ass again. Cape Town i see. Are those autos?

  7. Yo bro. Those trichomes are clear. Note that you should look at trichome colour on the buds themselves and not the leaves. The leaves trichomes mature way faster than those on the buds.Wait until they are milky with about 10% of them amber. Harvest then. At least another 3-4 weeks. Personally i don't flush for i grow in living soil but if you use synthetics then its your call. Lekker✌️

  8. Could be temp/ph related or something is infecting the new growth. What is that dark patch in the bud? Look for bud rot or moth eggs/larvae.

    Nice sizey plant though👌

  9. Ma se sleg man! I would firstly hand out a moerse pk to your friend, if he was educated by yourself, otherwise i would look deeply into the mirror and promise myself to never let someone else take "care" of my babies. Only you know your plants. Therefore only you feed and take care of them. Live and learn brother✌️

What I tend to do with my outdoors is give the plants a fairly good mist spray with the hose pipe once the plant is strong enough.
A good spray under the leaves really disturb any of the pests plans.
My main problem tends to be those miner things (forget correct name now) at the moment.

Leaf miners? Just squish the miner's trail with both fingers. He is hiding simewhere in that brown trail. Will leave a dried hole in leaf but at least no miner🤜

ive been looking at the bat guano from the hydroponics store and some kelp meal for the topdress mix , the NPK on the bat guano is amazing (3-13-4) but would like to add some extra potassium with the kelp meal (1-0-4).

you reckon a slightly dialed back dose of each bat guano and kelp meal  ( like 75% recommended dose ) would do the trick ?

Go for it! These amendments won't burn your plants so no stress. I still swear by Epic 5:2. 1/4 teaspoon dilluted with 10L rainwater once a week. Stuff is magic🔥
