Howzit, I own a cheap vape. Called a Vie. I is lekker to smoke on it once in a while. You go through way more herb using a vape. That is if you Have to buy and not growing it yourself. It is very different to smoking a joint or a bong.

    apparently the best. The

    pax is also good

Ja agreed. I have a Cloudious 9 vape which i bought for shits and giggles. Had it for almost 2 years and still going strong and used daily. Great value for money and easier on the lungs. But if i had to toke on the same amount in a joint i would get way more gooft. Not that i don't get gooft from the vape. The vape just provides a mellower, deeper gooft, if you know what i mean. Still dig my vape and having my own homegrown supply definitely helps loads. Always lekker to have a nice selection of smoking utensils, depending on what type of stoned that you're after on the given moment.

  2. Yo brother. Can't really tell how the trichomes look but the leaves tell me that this plant is close to harvest. Rain predicted for the next 2 days so if i were you i would harvest if you can't keep her dry.

  3. Good luck with the pheno hunt sista. My biggest concern with attempting a pheno hunt is trying to explain to the pigs why i have 200 plants in my backyard...

I also want to know if a curing jar can be too big. I am about to order a 1 litre jar with built in hygrometer and a 62% 67g Boveda pack to cure. Do I need to run a humidifier in the tent when curing or just the Boveda pack in the jar is sufficient?

No need for that. Don't fill the jar chock n block full. About 3/4 full. Keep the jar in a dark cupboard at room temp. Burp at least 6 times a day  during the first week. After that not so much. Most important is to not expose curing bud to UV rays. Enjoy your harvest brother.

  5. Ideally cut the whole plant at the base. Hang upside down in clean, dark space with 50-60% RH and 20 deg celsius with a fan running at med speed for the first day or two then let the fan slow down for another 5-10 days. Not directly blowing on plant of course. Low and slow is what want to aim for. Low rh and temps with a slow dry. When the branches start snapping instead of just bending, snip off the buds, do a final trim and cure in jar at 60% RH for at least 2 weeks. Remember to regularly burp the jars and store in dark place. Dinner is served✌️

I use the biobizz range with FF premium , and the issue here is that fishmix. Fishmix is great for veg, but in flower you want to switch to the biobizz grow.

You also don't need to feed every watering. I alternate a feed, then water, maybe just water again, then feed. Feed basically once a week really.

Try increasing the frequency of your watering. I water 15l medium with 2l water every second day

Agreed. 10% watering volume per container size roundabout. And also. Feel the weight of your containers. The most accurate way of determining whether you need to water or not.

Niiice 🤠 yeah please do update us with photos!

I wonder if they didn't have any Psilocybe Cubensis, the common Golden Teacher, they're by far the easiest when it comes to home cultivation. I've had my struggles with getting Alacabenzi to fruit. I've had it 100% clean and healthy, it would colonise substrate within 2 weeks, but then didn't matter how much I tried to perfect fruiting conditions, off maybe 5kg of substrate I got like less than 5g of dried mushrooms.

I get full flushes off my GT cultures. I make substrate trays of about 0.5kg and I pick about 15 to 20g dried mushroom off one block. 🤙

    recent harvest 😉

All love and respect brother 🍄

just to clear up the terminology, inoculating is just the act of introducing your culture to your substrate, once you've done that it goes into incubation, this is the period where the substrate turns white, the process is called colonisation or colonising. once the whole thing is white it's reffered to as colonised and then you wana leave it for another week at least for a process called consolidation, because if everythings white around the outside it doesn't mean everythings white on the inside, so that last week is just to make sure the mycelium consumed all the substrate. if you have uncolonised subatrate you will without a doubt be facing contamination comes fruiting time.

Goodluck man, hope the Alacabensi does better in your hands 🤩🍄💪

    Shot bro! Nice harvest there!

Ja still need to get the terminology right haha. But thanks for clearing that up.

Ja its taking a long time to colonize but hooefully it's worth the wait.

B&B were going to replace me with PF classic spores but informed me that the culture was sacrificed and they will substitute. Alacabenzi was probably the only non-contaminated spores available at that time, who knows.

    Will post updated soon✌️

I appreciate the kinds words brother 🙏 yeah just keeping on keeping on for now 💪😁

I am super glad to see more and more people gaining interest in mycology, not sure how others feel or think about spirituality, but I firmly believe that mushrooms are the flesh of the "gods" and they hold the true elixer of life which can be seen as spiritual, but it's also very physical. Have you watched Fantastic Fungi on netflix? Paul Stammets, godfather of mushroom knowledge, saved his own mother from cancer with mushrooms. and there is dead silence on the matter... 🤦‍♂️ we all kinda owe mushrooms a lot of research and I can feel the universal shift for the paradigm 🍄🍄🍄

every second or third person I talk to wana or have grown some shroomies, can't wait till it's every person I talk to who wants to grow them 🤓

@Weskush have you recieved your replacement batch brother?

Howzit bro. Yea they sent me a replacement pf kit and Alacabenzi spores this time. Apparently it is more resistant to contamination and a bit more beginner friendly to innoculate and fruit. Its been innoculating for about a bloody month with about half the tub innoculated. Nice, pure white! Will post an update once fully innoculated and placed in shotgun fruiting chamber with perlite. Lekker!

    Another 4 to 5 weeks I roughly.

Next time, grow some photoperiods 😄

Agree. Autos are suppose to be the fad. Unless you have experience with them and dialed them in, i wouldn't bother. Spend a bit of extra grow time and you will be rewarded with a much bigger yield. My biased opinion.
