  1. @Raf check the budsite by the base of that one yellowing leaf, i reckon you got mold/rot because the rest of your plant looks perfectly healthy so I highly doubt its a deficiency & while yellowing is normal close to harvest time - your yellowing is very isolated to a single leaf - so if the branch is browning/any discoloration or you find any mold or rot, cut off the affected area so it doesn't spread Only other suggestion besides keeping it indoors overnight & a lil defoliation would be too use a bigger pot before flowering, (hard to tell your pot size/height but plant looks easily 5x taller than pot) root bound plants have much shorter spacing between nodes (all growth is 'compressed' or closer together) making them potentially more prone to budrot/mold issues if everything is allowed to grow on top of another. Check out the link below https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/bud-rot
  2. The browning could be a mold/budrot, i had a stem go mushy brown and break off last week so if u been leaving plant out in rain (morning dew can also make shit) then could be the case, but I could be wrong so hopefully another forum member can give u a definitive answer With the yellowing of the leaves (leaf, lol) this is somewhat normal if you close to harvest time - theres no chlorosis on your leaves so you been doing good with nutrients, if any more leaves start yellowing then add some worm castimgs for nitrogen instead of synthetic fert if you dont want to flush and see if that helps but I agree with the other forum members when they say you still quite a while away from harvest Get a 30x microscope and keep an eye on it like psyclown said - trichome method is foolproof - one caveat though while the tips/stalks of trichromes do turn amber on most strains (as they degrade) on some strains they do not turn amber so pay attention to the structure/shape of the trichome also - as the ball/tip begins changing color from milky to amber they also start degrading making the shape of the trichome change as the stalk will start to slump over (& turn amber)
  3. Check out this one - doppleganger seedling 4 leaves almost like a Siamese twin - and yes this is a single seedling
  4. @Prom Dude!!!!!!! My knees are weak, smoked this in Canada alot, one of my favourite strains - pity its an auto otherwise I'd be bribing you for a clone right now
  5. Really dissapointed to hear people would actually take the piss like that - forum should create a blacklist of somekind for these dodgy bastards but i would agree that having a requirement of 3- 5 grows DOCUMENTED on forum is a good way to deter that kind of shady behaviour at least then one can be more certain that majority of entrants will participate & more likely to log diary/follow rules (or atleast have no excuse not to log diary/follow rules) & as a result would be less of an effort to regulate as everyone should have a good idea of what/what not to do
  6. Heard a lot bout this strain, yet to taste it though, but got a few friends ranting non stop bout how good it is
  7. I've had 2 or 3 of these already, I've read somewhere that they should be discarded, something about a genetic mutation, will see if I can find the link/reference but personally seemed like a weak argument to justify discarding a healthy seedling just because its has an extra leaf so I kept them (should of tagged it to keep track tho)
  8. Yeah both are definitely ladybugs so no need to worry there, they like the king of bugmunchers so If these critters aren't already in abundance id suggest planting a few companion plants nearby to encourage more of them that way you'll dont have to worry about bugs infesting your grow/munching leaves as they'll clear out anything smaller than themselves - Indoor growers with spider mites commonly let these guys loose in growroom
  9. I lol'd at yokozuma, otherwise could of been doink and his oversized hammer
  10. @CreX Lol, funny you mention the neighbours growing males cause she does have a few small ones, (84yr old uses flowers for tea) which is why I've been so paranoid cause even though she grows on the windowsill, its only 2 houses away so I've been keeping a watch full eye - so far so good, only scare I had was when I caught a small Hermie but luckily one day it stretched 20% out of nowhere which made me very suspect so upon taking a closer look i spotted what looked like nanners but couldnt be sure so i pulled it out kept in a closed off room - a day later im like "yup must be a hermie" then 2 days later the entire thing morphed into male was weird to see all the sites with pistills just do a 180 like that, (taking it indoors probably put petrol on the fire) one things for sure if it didn't stretch so much that one day I might have missed it and tainted my entire grow so last thing I'd want is to now be worried about bees too lmao - good to know though
  11. @Bakstein420 appreciate that link many thanks for that, forgot they after nectar and not pollen (unless there's nothing else) But yeah i figured it wasnt something to be too worried about as the bees here are spoilt for choice when it comes to other flowers & they only usually hover around it for a few seconds almost as if "ahh what do we have here" but a second later its like "ah nevamind" and go back to the sunflowers, just thought I'd ask cause it was odd to see it land on the branch
  12. Must of been quite the job setting up that SCROG netting
  13. @SkunkPharm Am keen to find out more about the group and how to go about getting started & involved in the movement etc. Cause I couldn't agree more with your statement, while personal gain is important its exceptionally insignificant when compared to the personal gain the community could achieve as a whole - one man can build a house, but it takes the village to build a community Have checked out groenseeds.com & not only are the prices really impressive but there inventory is really good too, the first site that I've come across where almost everything I click on is actualy available in stock - have yet to place an order but needless to say will be giving these guys a try and report back on my experience
  14. @highchome All good bud, haven't came right just yet but i have come across some really amazing prices on groenseeds.com so gonna hustle some $$$ and try some gelato & wedding cake out - was really keen to get a 10 pack of glookies from Barney's but corona took a fat juicy dump on my cash reserves so have to make due with what I can get
  15. So far I have managed to keep my entire outdoor grow seedless, and am roughly another month away till harvest, but past few days I've noticed a ton of bees hovering around the plants which didn't bother me much but today spotted a few really hanging around the most resinous buds, with one landing on a branch and quickly flying off, which leads me to my question - has anyone had a sensi crop pollinated by bees? Ive heard of plants being pollinated by the wind so surely not farfetched to think bees could too (I don't keep males at all so I'm not sure whether bees feed off male flowers - don't see why they wouldn't) If it is a risk whats a good step to take to dissuade the bees without harming them or forcing them to relocate
  16. @Stoukie have sent you a pm with details
  17. Well now that you mention it I'm also wondering where I got the idea that it may affect potency, lol I guess my reasoning behind the statement is every time we top/prune growing tip the plant stalls to repair itself which is why its not suggested to apply HST once plant is flowering but yes thinking about it this should solely affect yield and not quality perse but sure does seem plausible though so I'll have to test the theory out to be certain
  18. I've had similar thoughts but it all boils down to interpretation, because if you live alone that alloiwance gets shredded in half allowing you only 4 plants/600g, they go on to define the max as being 8 plants/1.2kg for 2 adults, so using the argument of having 4 adults in the single household therefore merits the max being doubled won't stick because the max has been defined BUT there is more than enough ambiguity in the definition of a "household" to spin doctor the shit out of it in our favour (especially in this new day n age of subletting/house sharing) But there's many flaws, 8 plant limit would certainly make growing autos somewhat pointless - also what happens if you plant 8 trees in the ground and they take off growing 3m+? You could easily have 3kg growing on the branches & cop can say your 1 plant exceeds limits therefore we confiscating the other 7 even though you well within your plant limit. so yeah...alot of things would need to be clearly defined to avoid bullshit, needless to say we will overcome anything thrown at us, the fight has only begun brothers
  19. Am now starting to wonder whether clones are more stress resistant than seed grown counterpart? Reason for this thought is a clone starts its life in a highly stressful environment (like a kid in an incubator) - shouldn't this stress in early life give the plant a higher threshold for stress tolerance?cause then theoretically speaking each clone of a clone would be more stress resistant than its predecessor? Hmm probably wishful thinking
  20. I'm always nervous when considering HST on a clone especially if its less than a month old & the the fan leaves aren't perky/stiff pointing upwards in a 'v' formation (smiling as I like to call it) but while that clone is definitely large enough to top I'd make sure it has a strong root system to support the extra budsites first otherwise you going to end up with tiny popcorn buds or worse over stressing & end up with a Hermie bastard @moloko plus whats your reason for wanting to top or fim in the first place? Experimental or? There's a misconception that there's no downside to topping or topping will magically double your yield because while its true it will increase yield by plant doubling budsites with each cut (having 2 main colas instead of 1 etc) the potency on plant with 1 main cola will surpass the topped one unless you lollipoped all your bottom branches, but I mean even in that case same rules apply: quality vs quantity and vice versa you have to sacrifice one to have the other and in most cases cancels each other out but done effectively you can find the middle ground that will maximise your overall efficiency making sure you get the most out of the plant - its very similiar to the monster cropping vs normal clone argument - one isn't better than the other but mainly depends on your situation and what u intend to achieve - same story here plant has "X" amount of energy, its your job to get it to make the most efficient use of that limit energy it in the most effective way its like a car battery powering 1000 tiny led diodes as opposed to powering 1 big flood light - which one lasts longer/most efficient? the same with the plant - do you want the plant to grow a very bushy/branchy plant with a 100 smaller less potent buds or a plant with minimal branches & budsites that grows into one amazingly potent cola - all depends what u want at the end of the day Topping & FIM is almost exclusively used as a 'growth control' technique - when indoors to promote sideways/bushy growth & stop plants growing unevenly & hitting roof/lights - not too common seeming it used outdoors unless experimenting with other LST's to maximise efficiency or again like indoor scenario simply want to stop a sativa hitting 2m+ and make it bushy
  21. If its too good to be true it usually is - lol license to print money though
