  1. Space blanket onto the cardboard is also an option. Didn't have money for paint and thought I'd give it a go. R20ish from Clicks. 2m x1m Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  2. Don't go claiming that trophy yet. At least I'm not alone. You counting the day's bud, I've counted in weeks. Sounds less when it comes to success v total cluster ratio. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  3. Got given 6 Jack Berry seeds years ago when i first started planting the odd plant around the nursery (picture small slightly disorganized place not open to the public). Breeder info I don't remember other than Amsterdam branding. I eventually started planting those seeds a few years back, my first step from planting bag seed. My last plant I harvested pre lockdown. Early into flower 3 weeks or so I woke up and realized this was the last plant and took a cutting. I've managed to keep what I call my first love alive for close onto two years. The little one will be mother #3 which I tend to keep for 9-12 months then put out to flower. I find it to be a good daytime smoke and it sure as hell works soothing the old war wounds aches and pains. Must add cuttings from this plant root super fast pretty much 100% of the time and have hade no pest problems indoor or out. Hoping the new mother re vegges though as I had to put it outside for a couple of weeks and started to flower. Been back under 18/6 for about 2 weeks now. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  6. Righty ho. Roots have appeared on #1 & #3 so I think it's soil time. Some of you that have been monitoring my progress since I started growing a year ago will have noticed I have a different light now. A few weeks back when everyone was scrambling to get their beans before the cut off date there was a lot of goodwill and offers of help going about. Was actually a good feeling watching people willing to help strangers. A few of you reached out to help me pay the entrance fee. Thanks to you all for the offer. Then a local guy I support soil wise gave me soil towards the grow, how he found out I don't know. So a big thank you to Jou Ma se Soil although I changed to Just Cannabis at the 11th hour. And the generosity didn't stop there. @Light It Up reached out and asked if I had a decent light and offered me a 240w QB for the duration of the grow. No strings attached, put it back in the box and return to sender after the grow off. Or purchase it if I wanted to. Speechless. I've already quit the pub and smoking next. You know where this is going. Big shout out again to the above, the forum, @Totemic and the sponsor's for such a great opportunity.
  7. Week 15. And Mother Nature put @Totemic's genetics to the test again last night. I've experienced bud rot first hand now and gobsmacked at how fast it happens. Rained all day yesterday and I was on toddler duty and could not get to move plants. Then a burst mains in the sky above our nursery only got fixed this morning. Everything is drenched but a few happy farmers walking about. Lost a few good buds and had to chop 3 plants, stake a few of the heavier ones and moved them to my little work area in the yard. After this mornings clean up and inspection I think we all gonna have to wait another week. Photos are in no particular order. PS. I'm walking around smelling like a orange'y then berry biscuit and everything I touch is sticking to my fingers. That doesn't make sense, my fingers are sticking to everything I touch.
  8. I think smaller companies can be flexible but corporate now days have to conform with health and safety. From my days on building sites we used to avoid the plasterers sitting area so that I did not have to kick them off site for having a puff. Then there was this antique rug restorer I used to work with in London. When she did her apprenticeship without sounding offensive with some Persian folk. Not sure what area. Anyway she was paid half cash and half opium which they, boss and all, would smoke during tea times. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  9. Quick update.Coincidentally they popped their heads 1,2,3 in containers 1,2,31,2,3
  10. I've always had good results with@Totemic seeds germination wise. Coming to the end of a very late outdoor grow of his GTH#1 x OKC. Popped 45 seeds of which 42 germinated and left with 33 females. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  11. #2 up and #3 seems to be hot on the heels. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  12. 3 days after putting seeds in jiffies we have confirmed life. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  13. One was trying to break surface early this morning. Hopefully standing proud when I check later. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah. @Light It Up has a cool one at 400 bucks. Awesome little gadget. Nice educational toy for the little one to check out how interesting bugs look on top of it being a work tool. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  15. Good to know. Managed to get the soil. Phew. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  16. To the naked eye the plant in general looks like some time still. Amber is the kick right? Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  17. Milky but not much amber yet. One or two amber pistils here and there.
  18. You reading my mind. [emoji317] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  19. How much longer you think these plants will go. Misty mornings are back that hang around till 10am and I spotted the first sign of bud rot. Humph!
  20. Week 14. Yep, missed a week battening down the hatches at the nursery before that little storm last week. Made a quick makeshift cover and that helped keeping the ladies dry. There was one casualty considering the thin stems and height they standing at. 650mm on average from soil. I'm gonna have to stake them I thinks. Nice sweet aromas and sticky as hell.
  21. So after dropping the seeds in the shot glass I put them in the corner of my little mother plant area. As of this morning none of the seeds had split yet. Popped the seeds into jiffies then into my humidity box and in the cabinet under the light courtesy of @Light It Up Must admit I'm feeling very nervous all of a sudden.
  22. Good luck bud. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  23. It has Samsung LM301B diodes. It is a very cool bar I must say. Cool. Thanks. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  24. This is probably a rhetorical question but here goes. Pic 1 there is the 500mm x 450mm x 2000mm cabinet on the right and those awesome QB75's from Growopz looking after my bonsai mother plants. I'm thinking 10l pot and a light in the cabinet. Question is do I put in 1 x QB75 or pic 2 which is a 300w Chinese blurple. Will 1 QB75 be enough for a 10l pot as I think the two of them are gonna cause heat problems. Was thinking of using the blurple as it's got a onboard fan but a QB and 1 fan doubling as a light chiller and downward blowing on the plant should kinda sort out airflow. Any input here guys?
