  1. What’s up y’all,

Does anyone recommend using fresh rain water for indoor plants?? I’ll double check the ph but I was planning on using unfiltered rain water.
Has anyone used rainwater and did you do anything before using it? 🤡

  2. @adre Basically you want the soil to be damp,

What i do is i water them well enough and then only water when top soil is basically dry, rinse and repeat for me, and this has prevented overwatering.

Clones dont require crazy amounts of water but rather humidity with their early growth, you looking at anything about 70% RH and up,

And correct, cannabis roots like to dry out soil from what ive seen (correct me if im wrong) but are prone to root rot if continually left with lots of water in the soil! ✌️

  3. @PsyCLown I have a humidifier going as the heater dries out the air, so i need the extraction fan on the regulate the RH, i have 2 fans inside of the aswell to circulate the air, so far it seems to be working well, i did what @CreX advised and so far looking good! :-thumbsup

Heater has a thermostat so is only on when temps dip, so far im happy!

  4. @Kiteloop What ive gathered from research is insulating the floor works nicely, ive got my plants on a layer of polystyrene and thats worked pretty well, i had my heating messed up but its sorted now, using a fan heater to bring the temps to a comfortable level for my plants and this has been good so far! Are you using any type of heating?

  6. @CreX @Ill_Evan So i have LEDs that have a veg and bloom switch maybe running them both? With the 18/6 cycle (I have autos in my tent atm).

Wow okay thank you! I wasnt sure if anything under 20 degrees would be good... But ill sit and adjust that!

Unfortunately my timer is the analog timer so its only in 15 min intervals and i know thats a bit too long with no air moving around.

Thanks for the advice tho! I think having it go till about 15 would help me a heap load! :-rastapuff

  7. @CreX Temps are great if i have the heater tunning, its got a thermostat so turns off at around 28 Degrees C and on at around 20 degrees C, My extraction fan is on the lowest and has created almost no negative pressure which is cool for now as i dont want that heat leaving :(

So currently i have my LEDs on a 18/6 cycle, and i have the 6 hours off during the day when its a tad warmer.

Should i maybe put my extaction fan on a timer? Perhaps that could help?

  8. @Ill_Evan I know one of the issues is that my inline ducting is getting air from outside, unfortunately its the only option i have right now as my tent is currently in my shed.

I have dialed my extractor fan to a minimum aswell to try and conserve heat, i just hope my electricity bill wont be outrageously crazy... 8-)
