  1. Excuse my short answer last night, and have been extremely busy of late.

QBG has been nothing short of spectacular, and @Chris Jayis completely right and the owner is an exceptional person. From the beginning they have made me feel at home, and truly family.

For the peeps in the EC, there is so much going on at that shop, workshops, giveaways, clone lessons and much more.

    Trooper 🙏

  2. You get those all over East London in the Bush and on the sides of the roads, if you look.

Normally in highly nutritious areas or where there is other soil life, they eat the other bugs, and havent ever seen them eating plants, very safe in my opinion.

My vape just has a dial and no temp sensor so I just wing it :investigating I do try to go on the lighter side though as the heating element is quite beefy and anything past a certain point just combusts... not cool!

Anything over 210 on the IQ2 and you get some combustion on the outside edge of the oven.

Soo, I saw @Prom posted a link to this site in another vape related thread: https://www.getmyster.com/blogs/blog/what-are-the-best-temperatures-for-vaping-weed

Got me thinking, what temp do you guys vape at and what vape(s) do you use?

    I use a Davinci IQ2 and I vape between 190C and 195C

If I set the temp higher it starts to get a bit harsh for me. I also find towards the end of the vape session, even if it is set to a specific temperature and not one of the smart path modes, it feels as if the temp does increase a bit and the harshness increases a little towards the end of the session.

@The_StonedTrooper Do you notice the same with your IQ2 ?

    Yes I' do in fact...

That will happen with conduction vapes more so, as the longer the oven is at that set temperature, the long it has to conduct and deeper it penetrates. More so over the convection as it's the same temp, only going over the oven, when pulled on.

Smart path, na thank you. 190 to 195 spot on, depending on Terps and strains

You can always vape it higher after, or just vape it longer at lower temps.

    Flavor over high for me

Also temps are 180-230 in increments of 10. Great clear screen with battery and temp indicators.

Currently 200 seems to be a nice sweet spot. All the way to 230 seem to toast it too much.

195 or 200 is spot on

  7. To be honest, it doesn't appear that it would work as you might want to use it.

You'll need to have the unit on for long periods, and you cant with plants.

Which is why I suggested the enclosed version, which was what I really wanted, and run that 24h, and that will keep the air clean.

Getting the light, to clean and already infected area, will also give false hope.

Also the plants are going to be upset if you run that amount of UV for that long, with direct light contact.

  8. Couldnt find my plants picture, but you want to have the light inside a tube, and fans blowing air over the light, not the light on shining on the plant.

Also wasnt sure of the UV type of the globe that was used, as the shop only had the 1, and the box is gone, and not written on the globe.

Those plants, got fried bad, and my very first grow too.

Was the Jack HERER with GSC before the UV

What does it do to your plants though? As far as I know the UVC damages DNA which is how it kills the pathogen but does it not also destroy the plant's DNA?

Yes it does, and did, fried my plant in 1H

Let me find a picture for you.
