Hey, buddy! This is a DIY thread! 😝

I will definitely do my own thread, and was only finishing my discussion here, as wrong as it may be, I am trying not to leave things unfinished 🤣

My house is allowed to by law smell of cannabis, and in fact always does. That doesn't in my opinion give saps the right to enter. I would in reasonable circumstances also allow saps in to my house since according to me I'm within my rights, and I have nothing to hide... But saps isn't the idealistic police force we would imagine a police force to be as a child. It's rotting at the core for the most part.

Allowing them in it seems, gives them the scope to write the story of what's going on there on the fly as they find 'evidence' to support a narrative. That's speculation, and won't survive a trial without other evidence of an actual crime, which the article has failed to communicate. Where is the victim? What crime has happened?

    Damn straight 🙌

I've owned the 600W Blackline electronic ballast and it's as loud as any airpump or fan I've used, except instead of a hum it's a high pitched rrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee!!!!

    Oh fark🤣

    Next upgrade, to their Digita

I do not enjoy the frequency that ballasts generate and I am unfortunate to be able to hear the coil whine so I would prefer the silence of drivers.

As I havent had one, didnt know this, how bad is the sound? And would the latest digita ballast be better?

Thought that they all would do the same thing essentially, take 220v AC and make it, X amount of Watts, in DC?

Probably should have looked into ballast lol, but here we are...

they could maybe bump up the wattage, replace the ballast with a dimmable driver and keep it all at the same price, I'd be sold

What Watt, do recommend for that size?

Is there a difference? How do we know or not, if their ballast, isnt a driver, and that their HID, is like that of a car, with HID bulbs, and therefore could run LED, as there isnt a difference.

The Ballast has a dimmer, well, set power modes...

They never said you couldnt run the light on another driver, but they do say you'll void warranty doing that, so it's always a choice you can make or chance you take.

With the efficiency as high as it is, with their ballast, I dont really see the difference, then help me see

  6. I want to reconstruct my middle light into its original shape, and use it in my clone and mother tent now.

Will make it so much cleaner in flowering tent, and give me light for my clones, as I didnt have one anymore and was using a 200w spot light LED since whahahah.

  7. This is supposed to be more than my current flower tents output, at 600w in a 2.4x1.2 tent, and feel if I replace half my lights, in the middle, with the Lumii 720w, and still have the outside 300w, I will be happy enough.

Will post pictures and video of unboxing when I get it😝

was trying to find what diodes they were using but they just have a bunch of info on the lens over the diode

    Where did you find such?

I gave it a serious consideration as I needed to recently purchase lights for a 1.2x1.2 tent and I ended up getting two 240W QBs for R6k

The only reason I wouldnt do QB, and no offense only opinion, was coverage alone.

Good price and good DIY replacement parts.

So when it comes to the new Lumii LED, and let's throw in that GIB lighting LED as well, can the diodes easily be replaced at end of life?

Exactly, throw in the GIB LED, same distribution company, and way different prices, for essentially the same thing, bar the LED specs

But, what if, those both had the same LEDS made by Samsung, or whomever, and they asked you double the amount for the one, as opposed to the other, when the Watts are slightly more on the cheaper

    Who'd purchase the first?

Might have withheld data, for this reason, or it could be just a lower spec name brand, with their best chips

    How do we know???

Wouldn't it be funny if it were just the ol' Samsung LM301B/H diodes 😛

Nothing solid out there, but alas the PPFD aren't that bad, and the Efficiency too...

Might be naughty and try it🙈

  11. Somewhere, someone mentioned Lumii using Sanan chips, you can search the forum if you'd like to see for yourself, but cant find any backing data, though I have found on Google, 2 places saying they use their own / sister company possibly, called LumiLED (Philips made, correction) and find a few details for them, but cant be sure at all.

The specs, output and such seem decent, and wouldnt mind checking it out properly

Any more info would be great, someone know the guys at the company we can ask?

Maybe I used it wrong, but my plants suffered defs constantly using the stuff, yellow, browning etc. I followed the instructions to a T. Eventually switched back to GHE and now use the bottles as paper weights for my clone domes.

GHE is actually TA, TA being the new name.

Same stuff, but maybe they dont have a good 2 part for coco?
