  1. Hey Fam,

@Pantsplant had me thinking, the one that has gotten attacked and a ring to the stem made.

Now, if that normally effects trees and the likes, but wouldnt probably effect Cannabis the same way, made me think of the grows I've had, and how this matters?

Over the years, I have grown in a few mediums, and different variations of media.

Experienced, stems that are like bamboo and hollow, like a straw. Then had stems that have been as hard and dense, as a young pine tree.

Would that different stem, make a difference?

Out of curiosity, who grows in what, and how do your stems look.

    Bless🤜🤛

  2. I dont know many plants, that you can snap in half, and grab duct tape and join the branch back macgyver style, and the next day, she is praying the lights again, getting a bigger harvest on that branch too.

nutrients for cannabis flow up the internal part of the stem, so it should not be a problem.

    I had thought so too,

This is interesting. As mentioned I know porcupines do it and a porcupine is a rodent. So your rodent guess is probably spot on. Plus I think I can see little teeth marks. Nice one.

Most probably the case, and fully agree here too

Unless you have a mate who is really into his practical jokes🙈

That's a first for me also. With the bark removed, the plant is suppose to die right?

    Like ringing a tree,

Stops the flow of nutrients and the protective coating

Not sure cannabis is the same though.

    Maybe a cutworm?

Here is Pineapple Fields 5 days before the chop.

As you can see... she is a big girl. The smell coming off of her is absolutely incredible. Candy/fruit/fuel/haze. Probably one of, if not the greatest smelling plant I've ever come across. I haven't been this excited about a plant in a good while.

  6. If you keep the dome closed or unventilated, your clones dont need roots, they get what they need from the air, as it so moist.

You can close it off in the first 24h and then slowly open or vent, more and more, so they seek food.

    Making roots

I use old Dynaroot, and have 100% rate, and also not to leave them in water for long, just dip and go...

I have a Budbox tent (same as the one you listed) and it is awesome! Overall the best tent I have used to date, not perfect though. A few things do frustrate me but not the end of the world.

A friend has a Mars tent and the quality seems good and he really likes it.

The GT Hydro tents were not great quality to begin with.

Mammoth isn't bad, but I feel they are overpriced for the quality. I was disappointed with mine as it has light leaks via the zip from factory and small, skinny poles which rust easily.

Secret Jardin tents I had were not bad either, but there is a difference between the Hydro Shoot series and the Dark Street series. The latter being the better tent and a bit pricier, comes with some nice features but I prefer my Budbox overall. I'd take Secret Jardin over Mammoth if either were a consideration.

My soil PH meter definitely isn't indicating that it's low. Checked all pots last night and they all seem to be on the high side of 6 ph?

Those things in my opinion are a gimmick

Even then a pH of high 6 isn't great for such a coco based medium. Again my opinion

You most certainly have a lockout there tho, and could be Magnesium def too

  9. I myself love a good DIY, and learning while making my own goodies, I do it all the time.

Though, I have to be realistic and consider all things before I go forward. If we didn't we would have many mistakes in our lives.

When I purchase my lights, I knew all about the specs and what to purchase to build my own, perfectly. With the parts imported.

Yes, they can be cheaper imported and built yourself, and yes they will arrive.

Though now, when or if something has to happen to these lights, or they arrive not working or damaged in posting.

I preferred buying local, and through GrowOpz, which gave me satisfaction and comfort in knowing, that is the light had any issues, he was right here, and willing to help me, at his own will.

Often in the past, imported goods, felt extremely frustrated when the goods aren't as shown, or had not worked or worked for long. Then given a choice, if you can get through the language barrier, that suddenly materializes, and get told, they will give you 25% off your next light as yours arrives broken, or some struggle.

Yes, you can get extremely lucky and no issues and the best company to deal with, but those are fewer and further between, than I'd like to chance.

Plus, have you seen my nugs from my lights😂

Note: The quantum board I ordered for a friend cost us just under R7000 (this is inclusive of shipping and import fees) I have seen the exact same board for almost R12000 in SA. You can find it with a quick google.

    Pictures or it never happened

Seriously though, let's see the goods😋
