Huge defoliation, apologies. Won’t delete but I’d actually say 2 more bro. Medium one now and huge one 3 weeks. I think 🙌🏻

@ORGANinc. u got a warm white led light aswell?

    So thats for flowering.

I am in deep need for a small review on that light bro. Coz i have the cool white for veg. Wanted to know if the warm white can help me on flower like the cool white helps in veg.

Ya bro I do. It was actually a mistake but I won’t be able to tell you if it’s better for flowering as I will not be using it for flowering. I wouldn't say it’s worth buying a warm white one for flowering bud. The light is definitely capable of flowering 1 plant either warm or cool. Plus the cool white will make your buds more sparkley🙌🏻

Thanks man, budget is only allowing for 3 right now, but will try some more out for the second grow 😉

    Appreciate it

Cool man! If you want maybe push the bar go 4. Even Stevens 🔥 would be interesting to see what that led can do with that. It’s a good light 👍🏻

    Hi guys

I started my first grow today in an 80cm x 80cm grow tent. I just did one seed for now but I'm hoping to do 2-3, I'm thinking 3 might be a bit much for my tent?

My question is how many times do I need to transplant, and what pot sizes should I have? My seeds: https://www.cannabist.co.za/cannabis-seeds/strawberry-banana-cheese-feminised/?attribute_pa_pack-size=3-seeds

I was thinking transplanting to a 2l pot and then a 10l a week or two before flowering. I'm looking at getting those freedom fabric pots

I have one of these lights, would this be enough for 2-3 plants in 80cm x 80cm? https://www.acdc.co.za/products/220-240-150w-cool-white-led-alum-flood-light-ip65?variant=32751529689165

    TLDR:

Would 3 plants be possible in my 80cm x 80cm tent with this light? https://www.acdc.co.za/products/220-240-150w-cool-white-led-alum-flood-light-ip65?variant=32751529689165

How many times should I ideally be transplanting?

What size pots would be ideal for each transplant?

Is polystyrene cup > 5l fabric > 10l fabric okay?

Hey bud, you very safe with 3 10l end. I would say go more. Royal queen seed say 9 11l pot in 1m2. But if lighting is a factor. Maybe sit around 6 10l pots with 2 of these lights set in a rectangle setting. Good luck. Maybe get 1 cool white and 1 warm white. Mix the spectrums if you running them throughout. I’ve got 1 warm one with 4 cool white 18w tubes for veg. Works very well  🙌🏻

Haha, it seems like the bets way to get a short veg and still try to maximise yield... And for good reason.

I'm also amped to see how it turns out... It will be a bigger version of my afghan kush tree I grew a while back... Had a very impressive structure emoji1362.png

How long is veg for you at the moment? Like how many weeks.

Yeah man trying to be efficient here lol, I could probably write off the first 3 weeks because I thought it would be a good idea to germinate my seeds under 2 12w cfls which gave me super stringy spindly seedlings but I fixed it luckily by installing those tubes. So it took 9/10 weeks. I think I could do it again in 8. But maybe 7 with new methods. And you bro? How long does it take you getting there? I wouldn’t want to veg any less than what I did now (For the strain). Very happy with the end height reached for a predominantly less stretchier strain in that makes sense.

Is it the right method to top the nodes you want to top at the same time?

If i'm understanding you correctly. it all depends on your end goal. So where ever you top, 2 new and progressively larger branches will form from that point.  The method i'm describing above involves topping once 4 nodes are formed (that will be the only topping required as the desired number of bud sites has formed naturally)

Nice one man... My suggestion for the next run, if you still want to keep 4 plants, is as follows.

For each tree; Top below the 4th node around day 21, clean off growth from 1st node, and then train the 4 new mains sideways for about a week or 2 - until the tree is just under half the desired total height - and then flower.

After reading this properly, its exactly what i'm doing next time lol. 4 nodes 8 main colas cleaned and trained from the bottom up. Very excited to see this method through. Involves about half the stress if that. FASTER FASTER! 🤣

Yeah man I was going to do something similar actually. After reading reading, I thought its gotta be better to just let those main branches grow out before topping and then the foundation is already set. will prove a bit more difficult with clones but ya will still be trying to use those same principals.

Looking good bro 👌 nice job on the training 👍

Thanks bro! I've enjoyed this method, but i'm going to opt for a easier and less time consuming way next time round. Will see how it pans out.

    What up 420 Fam.

    Update time.

    Week 4 Day 22

Grow is going good so far. Have not had any issues. Really happy about that.

Sweet tooth doesnt seem to get very bushy. But nice and thick stem.

    No training done.

She is in pre flower at the moment.

For the past week. I have been feeding some nutez at 75 percent strength. She seems to like it. Last watering was Saturday. Approximatly 500ml.

    Biobizz grow and seagrow.

1ml per 1.5L of declorinated water.

I have been watering in circles around the diameter of the pot.

1st nute feeding was a circle midway between center of pot and then next was along the out of pot. Then nidway point again.

Just tryna get the roots to fill out the pot nicely.

This week i will be feeding gro. Seagrow and some bloom. Staying at 75 percent strength.  Depending how she responds. Next week will be full strength Nutez.

So due to her now being in preflower.

Can i have some suggestions please in terms of lighting. The veg light now becomes obsolete?

Weather seems to be warming up at night.

Should i just leave her outside from now on to do her thing?

Or should i give her as much direct sun and then bring her inside at night and keep her in a dark veg box with air circulation?

Or should i still use the veg light for a few suplementary light hours?

  11. @Ill_Evan Howzit bro! You seem to be quite clued up on the topic. I was wondering if you may know what would be the legalities around the Clubs supply system. Or have a good idea on the direction.

Would there need to be GMP, and ISO regulations that need be abided by? Or these contracted clients who are paying for services rendered would not have to be so stringent? There has to be some sort of quality controls. And licensing, tax registering? Maybe it will be something that becomes more clear when commercial laws are revealed.

But If you say it’s may be better than the Laws in Spain, Then there must be good provision for small scale farmers/club suppliers. Which is amazing!

I like reusing my soils, re-amending them to save money.

I have a 50l no till pot that is now going on 4 years old, and has grown 3 plants. With the last one though I noticed the soil performance wearing thin, having to fertilize more regularly.

Envirofarm has a product that I'm going to test out on that soil.

The only amendments going in will be the Epic 5:2 at their recommended dosage. This should be a great soil reviver or addition to a lean soil mix.

Opening the jar you get this organic earthy and fresh ocean smell.

    Let's see how it performs.

    Happy Thursday emoji23.pngemoji48.png
Girls are behaving super green and only got time to start turning them into woman today, I had to many plants still vegging and could not switch the weekend.
Now it looks like I'm going to run out of height with only 90cm from scrog to max light hight, but we will tug while we still can.
I had some space left in the scrog and managed to lift a pot with a crate and squeezed it into the corner.
Girls got Fire Juice feeding, 2 days later a Moong Bean SST and today a Microbial feeding.
GSC, OKC and Cookies and Cream all behaving simular, the new pot has a Raspberry Diesel in.
Lots of defoliation to do and il start slowly the weekend to clean up under the net.

    Hope you enjoy

  14. I by no means have enough experience to even begin to judge which way to decide that. But I thought possibly per meter m2 because that takes all limiting factors out of account. But yeah I read some guys doing insane m2 yields. Surely everything has to be spot on when breaking the 500 mark, Or that could be easy for some.

Like I say, not an expert. But love to hear what people think increase the success ratio the most.

To answer the question because I went way off topic. I would say I would be happy with growing something that makes me proud I guess and progress from there.
