I think it is quite dark green but everything will be okay once holding back on the nutes. All plants are different. If she is packing on some flower, you know the plant is in good health.

Thats some love for those plants. Been fiddling with FPJ for a few seasons now and I enjoy their company in the garden. The garden sure loves it and its sooooo easy.
Definitely following along this test
Thanks for the enthusiasm bud! Yes those 2 plants are in soil that’s not loaded with much nutrients, especially in terms of nitrogen, so I’ll possibly be incorporating the nettle fpj or fish as we go been experimenting with nectarine ffj aswell, only used it once, bout time for the second dose for the outside plants

What's up ouens.
I can sit here and say I have wanted to do everyone a favour and skip the boring part of veg but to be really honest, I just wanted to make sure I do not have any fuck ups while posting a diary. I know it is part of the game and that is why we are here...... to learn. I had a bit of a fuckup on my first scrog grow so I was abit hesitant. I managed to isolate the problems which I will briefly discuss in this diary and ironed them out with a couple of minor changes. So here goes.
- Strain: Mango Sapphire by HSO
- Medium: Coco/Perlite
- Nutes: Calmag, GHE/TA TriPart and Ripen always fed at a PH of 6.0
- Lights: 2x 480watt (DIY build and the other Kingbrite)
10 clones were taken and rooted for 2 weeks. Once they were done, they we moved into small 12cm pots, vegged out for 3 weeks and then only the best 8 would be transplanted to 20cm pots. Vegged for 3 weeks and then transplanted into 20Lt Fabric pots.
When the plants were moved into their 20LT Fabric Forever homes, the net was lowered and the tucking began. Once the net was filled to about 100%, the lights were flipped.
Day before flip
Day 2 of Flower
This is where my last mistake was made. Previously, when I flipped the plants into flower after filling the net, something went wrong. I have a slight suspicion the plants did not flip when I flipped and it felt like the stretch went on waaaaay too long before showing any pistils. I think the first bud sites were visible at day 20. This is very late. Even after soooo much defoliation there was still tons of growth coming up. I ended up having a shit ton of bud but everything was popcorn because there wasn't any place for the buds to fatten up. So how I solved it this time was to do a flip but make sure the plants would go into flower. The lights were switched off for about 30 hours and when they came into their first day of flower, I would keep them on an 11 hour on and 13 hour off cycle just to make sure nothing carries on vegging. This seemed to work very well. After day 2 a stretch was already visible and I could see this time it was on the money and that each site would stretch out into their own space.
The ladies ended up stretching so nicely that I had to source an extra net very quickly to help support the buds. Luckily @John Stonedwell came to the rescue and donated a second net to the ladies which they were very happy for .
The ladies are now on day 46 of flower and should be finshed by the week 8 mark which is in 10 days. They have been getting Ripen until now and soon they will have all the nutes removed with clean water to try get the plants to start fading and consuming the last bit of nutes that is left in them. They will only get clean PH 6.0 water from today until they are done.
So far I am extremely happy with the progress. No hickups at all this time. I feel like this was a good grow and that there will be some very nice product coming out. It is smelling unreal in there. Not strong at all so I am not using a carbon filter this time. I would put it on the very sweet and fruity side. Can't wait to taste them.
Thanks to all the guys on the forum that I have learnt from, spending hours observing every step they take to try immitate their grows has helped me learn and understand what is needed for a succesful grow. I look forward to sharing the last few updates into harvest and eventually a final report on the dried product.
Thanks for watching.
Talk about blowing the lid off that shit on a FRIDAY! Lol very very nicely done my man. That deserves a big pat on the back. Crushed it!

Yeah, I got worried around week 3, they still looked like plants in full veg mode so I checked the tent for light leaks and I double checked the cycle if there's nothing strange going on, found nothing. The BHP and FA had pistils around week 3, but the DS only made pistils mid week 4.
I got my wendy house semi-insulated, mostly so it doesn't heat up like wendies usually do, but this also makes the wendy black out inside and then the Budbox tent is new and the material is more canvas-like than threaded material, I aldready made sure, but there are no pin holes, no zip holes, no duct holes, no plug lights. nothing of that matter.
I am not sure if this could be it, but what I did different this time was reammend the soil right on the day of flip. at the time the plants where hungry so when I reammended the soil they reacted real quick, couple days later they exploded with veg growth and basically they are still exploding with veg growth, that's really the only thing I could gather.
Hell yeah, I am very excited about the BHP
I have not grown the FA before. Had one small DS plant flower with my previous batch, the mother these clones came from. she's a keeper - my photos don't do her justice
Okay, then all should be okay, and it wont be an issue come harvest time, the plants will be a nice size

Its good to have cuttings ready for any situation. I also noticed a new issue on a plant that I have grown 3 years in a row. Sometimes new issues come up but as you said :
But ya buddy, those trees you got are no easy task keeping in check and healthy. I always believed its much easier to flower a small plant than a bigger one. So a very Well-done to you bro beans!

Impressive looking plants. I see the issue on that leaf but apart from that they all look good strong and healthy. Oh how I love seeing indoor grow logs
Thank you brother! Yes I’m happy with how they progressing, wanted to see what the genetics could do. So that I may choose good picks for future runs. Overwatering however didn’t give a good representation of the sherbet crasher. But we keep on keeping on

Goodmorning all!!
Flower tent update
it's week 6 of flower and the Deluxe Sugarcane is still stretching
my light takes up about 10cm in width, it's mounted all the way at the top, 1cm gap between my light and extraction fan. the DS haven't formed buds yet, but it already touching the light! tops got chopped after photos where taken, rather earlier than later.
Deluxe Sugarcane
Frosted Apricots
Blueberry Hashplant putting the frost on real early - dialing back the N on the next few runs for this girl.
That's pretty far along to not have much bud development? are you sure there are no light leaks or anything to that manner. I've never had plants stretch until week 6 unless revegging occurring, and that's happening to my outside plants right now courtesy of our new super efficient LED street lamps

Week 5 complete, all the girls are doing pretty well except obviously the sherbet crasher which has even more new developments due to overwatering, the blumat for her has been disconnected as she needed a full dry down. No water for 3 days now and she is still wet, also a very isolated infection of what seems to be the same black aphid taking opportunity on the very specific clawing leaves. Over watering, the real mother of all fuck ups. she got pyrolled very carefully, and i'm confident we will be able to snap her back to life.
Otherwise, GG#4 is looking promising, nice sativa structure to the bud. Some sweet some fuel, Quattro kush is just mooi AF, Animal Cookies smells like rotten something, the most weird smelling plant i've grown to date, but putting on some flower.
And thats all, they just getting water.

Okay so 2 weeks and 2 days later, 2 days more than I intended letting the soil rest. But to be very honest, this peat mix is very sponge like not super crumby but hold very well. It’s a nice mix I think.
you will see I thoughtfully labled the experiment plants somewhat
My old soil felt abit more sandier and heavier as I would imagine. Not 100 percent happy with the structure when it when in, But once the I had watered it. The surface was quite similar. Soft and crumby too.holding nice chunks. Still expect the control plants to react better regardless of not feeding nutes initially. Other soil could start abit slower
Flower will start next week. I will feed the nutes immediately at 12/12 at 1/4 dose
control plants are just above to the right.

This is shaping up to look like a really sick event! It will most certainly be a successful day! With lots a premium grade bud to go around

Here to conclude a seed popping trial in the propagation station as they will be transplanted tomorrow and moved to their new home, all in all, I'm happy with the results, the seedlings are healthy and didn't display unreasonable stretch.
These seeds came up on the 2/3 of feb so they have not done too bad considering its just not seed popping weather. Having said that, temps are definitely getting better. Sooo that's always fun for us who do not rock air-conditioning.
These babies will be updated in Grow diary, as they will be flipped next week, some in my grow diary and others in the hydroponic experiment thread.
I want to make sure these plants require little to no maintenance, so Ill be setting up automation and will also provide details.

We will see. Density is not always the only indication of good quality bud. I am finishing my animal cookies in the greenhouse so it should make a difference. But the QK she is a winner. How many clones of the QK do you have? Are you willing to share? With me?
I’ve got 1, you can please have it You need to come collect many stuff here anyway I’ll come get a few cuttings soon again.

My sherb crasher is also not the best. And it smells like nothing. Very disappointed.
Ya well, that's how it goes, I've got clones of the Qk and the GG#4, im happy with both so far, animal cookies is also looking decent, but apparently not such a dense finished bud.

Oh yes and did a big defol.

Here we are with week 4...
Some developments, the plants are still stretching. Now the tallest plant is 25cm away from the light, which is the GG#4, others are well clear but canopy isn't the cleanest or best managed but its what you get when growing different strains.
Quattro kush is putting on some bulky flower and bringing a beautiful purple tinge to the bud on the inside. The rest seem well on their way.
Then the Sherbet crasher, I honestly think the universe doesn't like this plant. She had been suffering overwatering from the blumat and the water was coming out only 1 of the 3 drippers to make matters worse, reset it completely and it should be running fine now. However stupid shit like that will ruin the whole plant fucking up the most important part of flowering... anyway.
That's all for now.
