@1000Hills Nursery Thanks, for the info. Will definitely look into getting the Calcium ad Epson Salts.

Is the Formula 1 Growing medium ideal to use?

Ingredients: Coco Coir, Worm Castings, Perlite (30%), Volcanic Rock Dust, Bone meal, Gypsum, Fermented probiotic bran.

Okay ingredients points organic. Omit what I said. :rastabanana

Dont be bummed with germination. Always some dud seeds in the mix. Seeds are relatively cheap in comparison to the setup or even nutes. I personally germinate more seeds then I need and keep just the strongest.

That formula 1 growing medium... If it's coco/perlite mix you will 100% need some sort of calcium additive. Calmag or Calcium Nitrate. The best option for you would be Greenhouse feeding company calcium and Epsom salts to avoid nitrogen issues. You also will need some GHE ph drops.

  4. Amnesia Mom reset...

It has been many generations and she's stills an amazing plant... Indoor and Outdoor... Anyone would be able to successfully grow her. Ticks alot of the boxes.

Great structure, unmistakable stem rub through all cycles so much so that she doesn't really need to be labeled, not a fussy feeder, early finisher by day 54 is when she's perfect for chop down , big yielder, top bag appeal, smells and tastes like pink grapefruit. Decent high 1-2 hours.

Her cons... She foxtails easily... Too much light, during flush and any other unnecessary stresses. Kak to trim. Can be a bit of a mildew magnet...

That's a hectic thing. So much potential and only so much space/time.
Just do the best by the ladies and they will show who is best-thats all you can do.

Then trying to pick a winner out of the group, when there are so many potentials....

But getting it right - priceless.

Beautiful, healthy well trained canopy💪🏻. Well done.

With regards to your thoughts on quality of weed grown in soil and soiless, I would have to disagree. Both can produce equally as good quality.😉

In general DWC rocks. @Ill_Evan all you need to unlock your dwc results is a few quality plants. You should oneday do a coco grow with as many small plants as you can fit in your flower space. Keep copies and then put the best of the lot in dwc 💪🏻 at reset. In general 2/10 plants are decent. The others in most cases are mediocre.

Wow looking good, what does that room smell like? @1000Hills Nursery

    Thanks for the kind words.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of the smells atm... It's too much of a mixture of everything hitting you in one go as soon as the door is opened. But individually smelling them one by one up close and personal really is one of the highlights of growing.

I like the idea of a little prolongation area in the top section of the tent for clone domes as indirect light and warmth works best for successful rooting.

This tent I have is purely for genetic preservation and renewals of moms. These plants get renewed every 3-4 weeks.

    IMG_20200610_141345.thumb.jpg.abcafe1234cd3763039fab828f525357.jpg

When I ran tents only I took cuttings of my veg plants before flip. I then grew those clones in the veg tent. 2 weeks before the flower tent was ready for harvest I took new cuttings from the veg tent. Kept the cuttings in the dome elsewhere in my house where there was ambient light at night. I then flipped the veg plants in the veg tent to get a head start and moved them to continue doing their thing in the flower tent when the tent became available. That would make the veg tent available again for the freshly rooted cuttings. So in other words I didn't keep mom's as it wasn't necessary for a small setup.

Either way bro there is no right or wrong really. Do your thing the way you comfortable. Just remember growing is very different from reading thru 100s of grow diaries and articles etc. All the luck 💚

I agree that the 2ft lamps are not a good option.

Also you want to split your tent into 2 halves for extra veg space. Sounds good on paper but your plants in each half are going to very quickly outgrow their space. You will need to take clones and clones of clones very often to maintain a manageable size to keep up with the perpetual especially because you have a small tent to flower in.  Are you growing from seed or do you have strains at your disposal?

  10. Just need to give some recognition where it's overdue . I've come across alot of growers who can talk the talk...

And just 1 who walks the walk... He's the real OG and the best part is he is humble as fk. Thanks bro for sharing your experience with me and many others... Thank you for liking everyone's content regardless of it being one little stunted plant in a tent to a room full of fire.

Guys... How's about a 'like' for
