  1. Thanks for the kind words. Once you have some beanz popped and start posting the progress, the 420sa fam will be here to assist... Be it growing related or even just equipment related.
  2. Harlequins Moved outdoor from 24 hour vegging... Cooling off in the shade, get them accustomed to their new home. Staking and cleaning up off bottoms together with light defoliation Day 8 since cloning these gals and they have already started to root.
  3. Update time... @Dank check it out bro... The exos chillin in some coco here on the east coast... Remember sending me some fresh cuttings straight of the moms. We didn't have high expectations but agreed it was worth a shot seeing as you were already sending me other gear. Well bro... Roots roots roots. So 420sa this is proof that if you want to donate a few cuts to other members you don't need to go thru the whole cloning process and special packaging. A ziplock bag and some wet leaves is all you need.
  4. Very impressive trichiome production across the board.
  5. A cloning tutorial on how to back up plants before flip 5 Harlequin seedlings and cloning gear In a few dayz these will be flipped. Should any of these impress me we will be able to regrow it in the future.
  6. Arduino are quite cool and best part quite user friendly and plenty codes available for temperature, humidity control. What you controlling so far?
  7. Plenty info on thrips and life cycle on Google. With regards to spraying. Buy one of those cheap plastic 5ltr sprayer that has a wand. You will be able to reach in and spray undersides etc. I would do a 3rd spray in a few days depending on how the plants are looking. Spraying the plants heavily often can be harsh on the plant. After that I would spray once a week till week 2 of flower.
  8. @oldsandals Sounds amazing bro. Proud to hear good things about kzn. I've heard of some fire diary queen bud floating around. It would be amazing growing out some of that local fire... Old and new... There's appreciation in it all. BTW welcome to forum cuts
  9. Unfortunately you have thrips. The defiency that the leaves are showing I would ignore and address the thrips 1st. Tell tales signs are the shiny indents in the leaves and the little black dropping's that thrips leaves behind after hitting a chow. Thrips are quite resilient and requires a few sprays every few days to kill them. Biogrow Pyrol, neudosen and Neel mixed together in a spray bottle should sort them out. You could use other pesticides, just make sure you test on a few leaves to make sure it's not gonna burn the leaves.
  10. HI bud Have you since tried the arduino with co2 probe to control co2 ppm? Probe a little pricey althou all in all seems quite a cost effective build. Also seems like the code is available online.
  11. I feel honored that I've received the very 1st cuts in this initiative... In continuation I will like to donate a few of my cuts to @Bospatrollie2 and @420sake... I will be personally hand delivering these babies to my 420brothers at the upcoming Trinity Farm meet-up ... Who can guess the 1 thing we not gonna run short off? Guys let's free style a bit for now. Share with those close to you and those you connected with. Post the share on this page. We have to start somewhere. @Bakstein420 I will gladly donate you a cut. You probably live down the road from me The only obvious condition is the grow diary. This is the reason for all this... To showcase some quality plants that could oneday earn a name and be associated with this forum.
  12. Now to the cherry on top.... Beanz... Beanz... Beanz... I'm not gonna eloborate to much on these beanz as we plan on dropping them right away and will be start a grow diary for them. @Dank brother thank you again for this amazing priceless gift. If you can please share some info on these beanz and the cuts you sent me.
  13. What's quite remarkable is that this parcel spent 3 days in darkness whilst it made its trip to me. I have never seen cuttings packed the way they were with wet dead leaves from the garden. When I unpacked them they were in great shape considering. Here they are making themselves at home amongst their new sisters and a few brothers. @Dank wonderful job... All the cuttings you sent look like they gonna root...
  14. 420sa... Hope you all blazing some homegrown... Firstly I would like to thank @Dank for initiating this. I see this growing and connecting the community on another level. Some background... I've been searching for a decent cheese cut to replace the cut I lost. Unfortunately every pack I popped produced nothing close to what I was looking for. Recently I was gonna have another go at hunting for a cheese when I got into talking with fellow forum member @DankHe was kind enough to share some of the finer details with regards to breeding. Long story short oneday he hits me up... He has a verified danky exodus cheese cut... Fast foward a couple weeks and this rocks up on my doorstep... To date the most special gift I've ever received So what you seeing here is 2 x rooted Exodus Cheese clones. And then some live cuttings. Wedding Cake CBD Heavy Exodus cheese So out came the cloning gear and I had those babies in some coco plugs and in the dome in no time.
  15. @awildmeme Welcome bro... Just a few quick tips. That slow release fertilizer is not for cannabis grown in coco. It's going to cause issues down the line. Seedlings require food alot earlier in coco compared to soil. Once you see the 2nd set of true leaves the plants reserves will be close to being depleted. With regards to nutes the floraseries 3 part works well. You will still need to supplement calcium as there is not enough calcium in these nutes to keep the plant and the coco's buffering happy. The only calcium available locally that can serve that purpose correctly is greenhouse feeding company Calcium. It's expensive but should last you a few grows. Everything else will cause issues with too much N. If you on a budget hortimix 3 part can grow decent bud. None of this is to confuse you. Research coco and all the properties of it so you better equipped for the feeding. With regards to ph... GHE ph drops are excellent and very cheap. Don't buy a cheap ph pen, rather just the drops. Set your ph correctly everytime and you will have a happy garden all the time. Hope to have been of help...
  16. @Bospatrollie2 @Dank Thank you guys for the kind words. What makes this special is the fact that both you guys are top growers doing your thing in style... And I mean style beyond most here know...
  17. This is what happens after a good clone sesh...
  18. First rule to successful cloning beyond everything has to be sterlising everything. Jik and water in a spray bottle works like a charm. If you having rotting or damping off issues this is most likely the cause. Temperature. The warmer the environment, the quicker they root. I soak the coco plug or rock wool cube or whatever medium in a dilluted flowering solution. The extra phosphorus promotes quick root development. Day 1 spray all cuttings with a further dilluted flowering solution. Misting the insides of the cover only daily for the 1st week with plain water. Empty out whatever water is pooling inside dome at the end of the week. After that mist only every few days. I keep the dome fully closed for 14 days. Plenty roots by then. Transplant in solo cups. Harden them in solo cups in the same dome for 1 day and off we go. Will attach some pics of the hardening up. Lighting. The less intense the better. The leaves stay green and healthy. If your leaves are yellowing they getting too much light. On a side note. I would really like to build one of those clones with the misters too. I've already got all the bits and pieces except the neoprene inserts. I want to make a 100 site unit for it to be practical. Hopefully soon...
  19. Easy to spot a garden treated with love ... Everything so special in their own way. I love the structure and the way those fruit punch boyz stack. I can see some bean trading in the not so distant future
