  1. Woah!!! Sick!!! Im gonna see if I can complete one soon... I should have enough data from previous grows I like this
  2. Clones are another story... I have also had large success with cuttings in just a cup of water... Which pretty much boils down to the same thing. My bubbler though, has bubbles not to oxygenate the water, but rather to spit water droplets onto the stems of my cuttings.. I find a greatly increased rooting speed with this method.
  3. I dono about the nothing happened part... I had an outdoor hydro... It was the most amazing growing iv ever seen... But it's pumps were connected to my Bloom room... And I turned off my Bloom room because there were no plants in it at the time... I only realized after a week... But the plants were fucked... Growth halted to a standstill... No further bud development happened... Leaves started dying at a rapid rate... Eventually I just pulled them and dumped them... It was truly one of the saddest things iv ever had to go through... Once or twice for a few hours during a grow won't be the end of the plants... But this loadshedding is not just once or twice... If you do not have a UPS on your oxygenation devices in DWC current, and are getting loadshed, then yeilds are being affected.
  4. @MeepmeepzaI have a 400w ballast and reflector and globes (HPS and MH) ... But I can't go as low as 500. It has chains to hang it, and long cables so you can mount the ballast outside the grow area. Let me know if you are interested, send me a PM
  5. LOL kids... Damn rascals!! Im not clear on your budget... Is it 3k to 25k?coz then we can set you up like a champ!! But if it's sub 3k... Then let's work on the basics and take it from there. You need to decide how you are going to grow... Hydro, coco, soil You need a grow space, tent, cupboard, DIY grow space... You will need lights. LED, HID, Flourecent Lets start there and hear your feedback
  6. What's up and welcome!! How newbie are you Have any setup? Or any Lil ones growing currently?
  7. Okay, so more of a split between the branches... How you have it is fine... Maybe try wedge something under that branch so it is supported better. This should heal... As long as the cambuim layer of the woody stems didn't break in that 10% you will be fine. I had a Ghost train that something similar happened, and it made a full recovery. If the leaves are still perky and happy, the branch will make it... Maybe do a defoliation on that branch to reduce the load on the little bit of cambuim it has left...
  8. Brah... You underestimate my passion here
  9. Was a fold? Or a break? Both of them you should actually just leave in the bent position unless the plant is in early to mid veg... Late veg and you could do more damage than good, often leading up to the whole branch dying anyways. So if you can... Undo your tape and let the break be broken.... Maybe try support it amongst the rest of the plant. If you can move the plant indoor for a week or so, just enough for the plant to start healing properly then you could maybe get away with it... But the outdoor wind and rain is going to break your fix and cause more harm.
  10. I have a few extra stragglers now, Chiquita Banana x2 Inzane x2 Grape Diamonds x1 Euphoria auto x1 And a bunch of clones, I think more Chiquita Banana, and some Tropicana* banana I stand to be corrected on the clones though
  11. And boom! Bloom tent set up... Now it just needs some plants OH! And another set of QBs that I need to set up
  12. Trimming no... Maybe a Lil... But the sun really penetates so it's not really needed. You should be trellis netting your outdoor though. The wind and the rain will cause havock in bloom when the bud gets heavy, you need something to support the stems Im sorry about the broken branch though... That really sucks
  13. I hope @Pat999 comes back one day
  14. This Pic looks like you have 2 calyx in your hand with white pistols coming out. Those are not pollen sacs. But the ones you showed in the very first Pic look like male flowers
  15. There's always the magnificent outdoor shining sun.... OH wait.... Rain
  16. So here are a few pics of the hardest part, solo setting up tents Yes... Plual... I took a vid of them both set up... Pics don't do it justice... The whole room is just 2 tents
  17. Guess whose back? Guess which mother fucker has not let life win? Guess who got back to reality and set up my tents and is ready to grow some quality cannabis flower?? Me guys.... It's me
  18. Alright bro! If you can make your space a bit bigger then you will be okay... If the sun never shines... A grow cabinet, outside, on an open balcony... You are going to have major heat issues, especially now when summer comes along... Any direct sun hitting the cabinet will push your Temps in the cabinet sky high.... Likely upper 30's...which is way way to hot. Is there no space to somehow keep the grow space inside? Alternatively... It is legal to grow at home unless the lease specifically says you cant...so If 3 autos is your goal... I would put them straight on the balcony and not give a single fuck... You will grow a decent 3 plants that way and he happy with the results.
  19. I would rather even only do one plant in an area that small. 30cm is barely enough for one plant What is the other dimension? 1m high is sufficient 30cm across is minimal. If it's more than 60cm deep, then maybe 2 plants. Is there not another option you can go for? Maybe one of grow ops lights, and a small tent? It's gonna sound a bit critical, but you came here for advice and I'm gonna give it to you. I think you are setting yourself up for failure trying to grow in that small space. If you are trying growing for fun and as an experiment then I think you will be disappointed... If you are growing to move away from buying, or are growing because danky dank is expensive... Then you will be further disappointed brother. If your light budget is 2k, I would get a grow ops light and a small tent, 80x80 and set yourself up for greater success.
  20. Nice man! What lights have you there?
  21. 3m max.... Max max max.... And I couldn't figure it out either... I could probably................ Okay so I did some reading. And the reason you can't have very long cables is because of an increase in capacitance of the wire which can lead to excessive capacitive leakage and shut down the ballast. @nakes, I took a quick look for you, and it seems 25' or 7.62m... Quite a bit short of your 17m. Also, another site said not a fuck... 2ft max... So there is some controversy on what is acceptable... I think your electronic ballast also works with capacitance and a similar principle might apply. Cant you mount it closer?
  22. You don't need to keep the light close to the plants, to keep them in veg, they just need extra light. I went with a 45w flourecent bulb and that seems to have done the trick for me. I think 300w might be a bit overkill if anything.
  23. So I saw the topic and something similar, with much greater consequences, popped into my mind. Not that many, or any one, is growing with flourecent tubes on this site, but if you were to wire an electronic flourecent ballast, the wire length must be adhered to otherwise you will pop the ballast. The warning is written on the ballast and I did not adhere to the warning... Popped 4 ballasts before I stopped myself to figure out what the fuck is wrong. So with your ballast being electronic aswell, I would maybe just check online for a spec sheet... It might give you more info.
