  1. Yeah, but im not overly impressed with this line from exotic genetix, so doubtful I'll grow it again, also the humboldt mint og is not really appealing to me either. So time to move onto the next strain after this.
  2. And not even a full size gherkin, one of this cocktail ones.
  3. Been slacking with updates, but here is one.
  4. Klap those piesangs boet, I just hope they aren’t hermies
  5. God journalists in this country suck, that article is full of slang, just makes reading it near impossible.
  6. After deciding to get rid of my one bar light I ventured onto building my own. Material: U-Connect steel frame 25mm + corner angles cut to 1.2m a piece. 10 * 31mm UChannels cut to equal sizes (even though i didnt at times) 20 * Bridge lux eb series gen 2 strips (you can go for more efficient lm301b strips or other samsung strips, these were dirt ship 8$ a strip) their lengths are 1.1m, you can opt for different strips or smaller lengths. 2 * LRS drivers 350 Watts 36v (I plan to change to HLG at some point, to bring them in line with the other HLG 600's I run). 1 * 25m Thermal adhesive tape. Cost cant really remember as i needed a few things like tools, strips and power supplies + customs came to around 4k (free shipping) UChannels were cut, and sprayed with hi resistant heat spray paint (you don't have to do this, I did it for fun, and to try hide the horrible scratches on the channel, I have no noticed any reduction in thermal conductivity), connect it bars were setup into a square shape as depicted below. JB Weld was used to secure the channels to the frame, I tried pratley rubbish and it did not work, this was allowed to cure and set for 24-36 hours. The strips were laid with the double sided adhesive thermal tape After curing, frame was resprayed with the high heat spray paint, I was going to sand down the joints on the epoxy but i got lazy, I was also going to grind down the edges, but decided one day... (most likely never). A strip was run on the test bench. Strips were laid on the frame. Test run of strips Another test run In its new home, running at 150 watts per side, total of 300+- in all, potential running of 700 (true wall watts) I still need to get some 3.4mm bolts and securely hold strips to the channels as I got some dirt underneath a few and noticed the adhesive coming loose.
  7. Ask @Pat999 how much he loves Hydro Herb, Zane is a piece of shit and that's being polite.
  8. Steer clear of hydro herb africa, they do not honor warranties.
  9. I'll PM you , i dont want my thread to become a discussion on lights.
  10. It's going well, I'll take a new pic tonight. @nakes Yes LED My strips arrived so will be building my new light during the course of the week.
  11. I used to be a bio bizz fan, after switching to green house powder feeds and dialing it in, the trichomes to me look far more dense and resinous. So Green House Powder from me.
  12. That tent is a mix of chocolate mint og and the titular strain. I have not even looked up their times I think they both 8/9 weeks but I chop when the plants tell me, I rarely ever follow a specific week count.
  13. Defoliation and budding finally showing.
  14. What did the culled ones internodes look like ? I don’t see anything in the above. Take closer pics near the internodes and focus the the camera
  15. Glad you can see pollen sacks, I can’t see shit
  16. No idea why their prices are cheaper, ask them. Use post box courier and deliver to a drop ship location and the shipping will be cheaper. That's what I did.
  17. Update: They were stunted for the longest time due to over crowding in the one tent, waited for them to get a solid root zone and transplanted. Plants on the outer edges are my RGxBB cross and then there is a mix of ghost train haze and ethos (the small one, and the smaller pots (waiting for better root zone)). This was post transplant, hence their droppy appearance.
  18. A fool and their money are soon parted.
  19. Currently looking at either Canada, Holland and the UK - UK being the easiest as I can get an ancestral visa. Reason? Because I don't like this country, never have. Apart from the useless government, crime, just general failing economy, the grass will most definitely be greener on the other side, even if its just one shade.
  20. I'm starting plans to immigrate next year sometime, if everything pans out.
