When I think of a lab, I think of chemistry and various substances being conjured up. Perhaps that's television & Breaking Bad that has done that to me though...

Thanks chaps all input is valuable!! Just needed to clear up that misunderstanding. With my last grow, epsom really helped with sorting out mag deficiencies but obviously the risk of salt build up is there. If I flush regularly, say every 2 weeks would I be fine using epsom every now and then?

Hi Folks Although at times our Plant Of The Month competition has shown some promise with quite a few entries, the general entry turnout is usually poor. That's most likely down to plants being too young, people not growing at the time, not enough members, safety etc. etc. So I'd like to know what kinda monthly competitions would you guys like to see? @StickyMo suggested we try run Nug of the Month again. How do you guys feel about that? Hydro Herb Africa will continue to sponsor the great prizes. We just need the right competition with a decent number of entries each month! Lets get some feedback so we can develop a comp that everyone can take part in

How many of you guys are actually growing at the moment? Need to get an idea as this comp may need to run for another month as well

I add about 150ppm of Horti's CalMagN+, keep in mind that I use RO water. Is that too much and is there a possibility of there being too much N. Do you use Horti's CalMag Mo?

Where would I find a cheap source of Neem Oil. Biogrow's neem oil is a bit pricey so are there any other options?

Thanks Toby! If one has a spare bit of cash to blow on a smartphone with Android software, or if you have a spare one lying around, there are a couple time lapse apps out there that work really well. Will see if I can put up an example video. You can set the interval of photographs etc etc and then it puts the photographs into a time lapse video. Will look for links to some of those apps now.
