  1. As I'm sure you noticed the ratios(strength) change as the plant gets older and bigger. I might be complicating it but you wont use all 25 litres while you're sitting on the first ratio, especially with just two seedlings(remember not to over water). In other words you won't have used all 25 litres before you need to up the strength. So once you need to up the strength you'll need to measure how much water you have left in the tank and work out how much more nutrient you'll need to add the water to stick to the indicated strength on the chart. Obviously that's not impossible but it can be a little more of a mission. I'm also not sure whether adding nutrients later on to the nutrient solution is a good idea either seeing as they do say on the bottle that you should always add the micro first. If I were you I would mix the nutrients into a 5 litre bottle of water until the plants get a bit larger. Later on that 25 litre tank will come in handy. I guess the main purpose to this post is to make sure you don't waste the nutrients seeing as they are pricey.... Just my opinion or JOMO as Max would say
  2. What stage are your plants at and how many plants do you have wallis?
  3. Gotta be more entries here this month!! These are great nutes valued at R330-00 for the trio. Come on!!!!!! :sillyass
  4. Chaps please keep in mind that you can't openly discuss the selling or trading of cannabis genetics on the forum, be it in the form of seeds, clones or plants. Nor does the forum encourage members to openly discuss meeting up. Keep it PM.
  5. I've finished a good grow on those nutes. I think they can be used to very good effect if you control the ratios properly and don't follow their feeding chart for flower. As Totemic says, cut down heavily on part B!
  6. Most definitely!! Very slight berry/strawberry smell to the Thunderbud Haze
  7. Day 25 Of Flower The buds are starting to develop really nicely now, especially the Thunderbud. This Thunderbud plant hasn't put a foot wrong since germination and really has been a pleasure to grow, really love the flowers she's producing, very fluffy and white at the moment. I've now got 5 clones of her to make sure this pheno sticks around for a while to come. An update on my conditions. Temps sit at a steady 28 degrees with the light and the humidity ranges from 45%-55%. At lights off the temp sits around 20-22 degrees. I'm pretty sure the main stretch is over now, current plant heights are 78cm for the TBH and 75cm for the AMS. The AMS's sativa lineage definitely has shown with a very big stretch of more than double it's size in just 3 weeks TBH http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag217/420sa/Mobile%20Uploads/20150314_203300_zpsgtxhsdtr.jpg[/img] http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag217/420sa/CM150314-20320801_zps1drdvrrn.jpg[/img] AMS http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag217/420sa/Mobile%20Uploads/20150314_203739_zpsq3m9b4wl.jpg[/img] http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag217/420sa/CM150314-20371002_zpselcecjqr.jpg[/img]
  8. Morning folks Just implemented 2 more feature improvements to the forum. The text editor is more user friendly now with less emphasis on BBcode, which some might find confusing, and more emphasis on real-time. Also... there is now a "Say Thanks" button at the top right of a post. Please report any issues and feel free to provide feedback :thumbups
  9. Hi Folks I am aware that some users are experiencing issues when logging in. It says the password is incorrect on the first attempt even though it definitely isn't. I experience this issue myself when logging in as well. It creeps up every now and then and I'm not 100% sure of the cause. I have read up that it can be as a result of spammers/hackers constantly hammering different passwords under your username trying to crack it in an attempt to get into the forum. I can assure you that I'm constantly trying to find a proper fix. Nothing to be alarmed about at all safety wise though :thumbups

If you're gonna go the pyrol route be sure to use less dosage than indicated on the bottle else your plants may burn from the canola oil in the pyrol, especially if your temps are on the hotter side. On the bottle they indicate 20 - 40ml per 1 litre of water. I mix 10ml per 1 litre to make sure the plants don't burn
  11. Hi wallis I really wouldn't suggest switching to cfl's either. You'll be downgrading to something I'm pretty sure you'll regret in the long run. As the guys say, just put all your money into ventilation. Check out these fans at this link http://www.fans.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=77&Itemid=111 they would exhaust a cab like yours really nicely. They aren't exactly the quietest though.
  12. Welcome to the forum Al-Hassan! :thumbups

  17. Hi folks Just a quick update on a requirement that has been changed. A member now requires a minimum of 5 posts to move out of Seed status. It was previously a minimum of 2 posts. This is purely a tighter safety measure. For those that aren't aware of what this means.... When a member joins they start off with Seed status. While a member is in Seed status they can't see certain boards, images & competitions. When a member makes 5 posts on this forum they will be moved out of Seed status and will unlock the rest of the boards.
  18. Hi John Welcome to 420SA What medium are you growing in as that dictates what nutrients you need or whether you need nutrients at all?
  19. Day 16 of flower All going well with nothing out of the ordinary to report. TBH AMS
  20. Very useful article for those peeps that think that the current fires in the cape are a complete disaster and MUST be prevented http://www.capetownbotanist.com/2015/03/out-of-ashes-notes-on-march-2015-cape.html This is inevitable and surely you need to plan your lives around this inevitable natural occurrence. If you build your house amongst Fynbos don't be surprised if you lose your thatch roof one day...

  22. Yes it does have a door. Temps seem to be managing fine with the addition of the extractor fan. The temp sits at about 29 on an average heat day. Today its sitting at 31 but the outside temp is 39!
