  1. I have, since placing this question, reduced watering by a lot. Only water every 2nd day, every 3 time is feeding. Use a lot less water when watering too, so the runoff is a moerse lot less than before. I also use between 1.5-2lt on 25lt pots and about 500-750ml on 5lt pots. Must admit, since changing it to this routine the plants have increased in grows much faster than before. @KushNewbie thanks for the link, some interesting replies, but I think i will rather not re-use runoff water on my cannabis. So now i just toss that runoff into outside garden.

  2. Just letting guys know about my experience with milk to assist with powdery mildew. I have been apprehensive about using milk on my plants... Because geez, milk stinks when it goes funky and who likes that!? But I needed to do something about my PM issues. So I tried the whole milk thing. Bought a litre of PnP full cream milk... Diluted it about 40/60 in water... It would have been 50/50 but I drank alil milk I have a 2l garden sprayer that I bought at builders for 99 bucks... This thing is a life changer haha. And so I commenced my spraying... Everything got a good spray... Under and on top of the leaves and surrounding area.. And I still had about a litre left so I went around the garden and sprayed any areas iv had issues with before... It stank my grow up... Was pretty disgusting... But I let it go... White leaves, dripping with milk... I just left it... I was like... Guys say this works... So let me give it a chance... Today I go in and check what's up.. To find no powdery mildew (I need to keep an eye open for any new spots) and not only was my grow free of PM, they were praying at an angle I haven't seen in a while .. And no smelly milk! I must note.. That I'm running hydro systems... And some of the milk did leak into the res... Only one of them.. And those plants are praying the hardest... I will be monitoring my res for the next few days to see how things turn out... Who knows... Maybe I add a ml or 2 at each res.. Lol but more research needs to happen. So if you have been putting off a milk spray... Here's my testimony to something that worked

  3. Thanks to everyone who has a view on this venture - some interesting questions. I'm indirectly involved in the business, but probably the wrong person to answer detailed technical questions. We have a botanist (Greenthumb) who is responsible for the growing ops, so I will ask him to provide the info. Fundamentally though, The Haze Club was set up as a service to grow for people who either can't or don't want to grow their own. IF you have the knowledge, interest and time to do it yourself, this would be the way to go (why pay anyone else to do what you can do yourself?). But most people don't.

  5. You're just watering too much then, I use 2L for 20L pots. Don't reuse runoff that's not a good idea Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  7. I just put some cuttings into jiffys, my first time trying them hope I don't have the same issue. Got them from a shop up here in jhb, let's wait and see. I believe it shouldn't have any fungus / mould. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  9. Nice! And from what I have read, a bit of milk in your medium isn't bad... And 'some' people have tried it and say it works... Like I said... My one plant prayed so hard this morning... And it was the only plant that got some milk in the res... Now I'm not saying I'm endorsing it... But ima keep an eye on it and maybe run a test or three Keep me posted on how your ladies respond

  10. Hahaha...Was nervously aware of my neighbors with that plant, keeping an eye and all. Eventually I had to gently push her over(hillbilly LST) and tied her to a bamboo stake to keep her out of view. Couldn't do much about the fragrances though. Luckily it remained stealthy.[emoji41] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  11. @Pat999 im pretty sure that is what happened. Was wondering why the hortishop would sell this kak. I reckon rockwool would be best option for cloning.

  13. I would have gone 50/50... It does leave a bit of a residue, but today I Foliar sprayed with some Epsom salts to wash it a bit.. Rehydrate the milk and try squeeze more goodness out of it haha.. More for a wash though... The research iv seen says results are great from a 20% solution... If cost was a factor... But at ten bucks, it's not. The work comes from the proteins and fats and amino acids in the milk... Another note is that the best results came from applying in the morning where there would be plenty sun... The effectiveness of the milk seems to be directly related to how much light it gets. On further inspection of my plants, I found one or 2 leaves that had been sprayed, but were under the canopy, and still had some PM on them... But absolutely nothing on all the top leaves that got the most light. So their theory seems to hold water this time...

  16. Exactly what I was thinking.. Like I don't understand this business module. The only thing I can see that is a plus from just ordering weed from an ordinary shop is the fact that the product is tailored specifically for you. As in they grow exactly the strain that you want. Which I guess has a positive if you can't find that strain of cannabis from a dealer. Oh okay, yeah I was just going off of what the thread was saying. I didn't look into it or research the 2 organisations.

  18. Planted this choco seed in March for germination testing. Left her in a 1l pot in the corner. Decided to see how she would go through her senescence. She did not hermie, and has reacted to the winter solstice. She has started revegging, so potted her up into a 20l pot. Nice little monster crop on the way that I may force flower in a few months.

  19. Unless they can show a log and a diary on the plants... Put in as much effort as we do... You will never have a solid guarantee that what you are smoking is what you have paid for in the beginning... And fuck it... That's a lot of work... Growing someone else's weed... I for sure as fuck would charge a top premium for that shit... And it will not be worth the end users while

  20. Thanx man. Word of advice, something i wish i knew earlier. When feeding ur plants, pay attention to PH, EC and PPM. It makes a huge difference if you keep these within the proper range for current life cycle of the plant. I only figured this out around week3 and within days i could see increase in growth. the pics below was before i started monitoring EC and PPM more or less a week apart. All the plants grew. Also defoliated them all

  22. Organics Matter is certainly the best I've tried. Prefer it over Freedom Farms, plants have been happier in it and you get a small 20ml bag of mycorrhizal fungi in each 30l bag of soil. Its useful! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  26. The fact that it's a registered company means squat. It's the same as seeing a saps official and assuming he can't possibly be corrupt because he is a police officer. That being said, for someone who can't grow for themselves this is a good idea in principal. Only time will tell if the idea has longevity. The price isn't too bad considering general input costs into a solid grow. As for legalities of this....would saps see things the same way when they walk into a warehouse full of cannabis? Would they acknowledge that there are other owners of the cannabis, or would they arrest whomever is present and give the media another screwed story about a multi million drug bust?

  30. Wow... #cracks knuckles Heisenberg tea is AACT He has complex ones and basic ones. I ran into root issues because I was once a noob who took outdoor plants, rinsed the roots, and put it in my hydro... Lol what a mess!! Thankfully, Heisenberg saved me and my grow. He lists only American stuff... Great white mycos and ancient Forrest soils and stuff... I found the basic teas ingredients here in SA... Per 10l Basic ingredients are EM pro(25ml or more... Note that the bottle says its viable for 90 days.. So don't be shy) mycoroot mycorrhizal fungi (25ml of the granules) Molasses (1tbsp) Brew for 48hours in dechlorinated tap water... at room temp (20-28)... I use water that has been standing for 48 hours minimum Those 3 ingredients will fix your rootzone.. I add kelpak, worm castings, humic acids, magnesium sulphate, various soils for diversity... As long as you have the main ingredients you will have a great tea Chuck it in fairly liberally if you have an infection... I'd go for 100ml per 10l res Then go down to 50ml per 20l for inoculations every few weeks or every reschange
