Hello All, Thought I'd share my current grow here since I just started this one. The grow is indoors, the setup for veg is: Grow tent - 80cm x 80cm x 180cm Electronic ballast set to 250w with a standard Philips MH bulb in an economy hammertone reflector. Air flow is supplied via an active intake, ducted from outside using an inline fan (150mm) on a Phresh carbon filter. Exhaust is passive and vented directly outdoors, also 150mm ducting. Box fan for oscillation. Currently temps are maintained between 23-27 C° and humidity between 50-65% using a humidifier. Using Nutriplex 3 part, Silicone, Amino Mix and Efficient Microbes. The solution for seedlings I use is pH 5.8 and roughly 380 ppm or 0.6 EC on my pen, I try keep the water around 21C°. These ladies are in Rockwool cubes for now and will finish in slabs, I hand water throughout the entire grow. Heating pad set to 20C° The genetics are 2 x Super Lemon Haze from GreenHouse Seeds, 1 x Lavender from Soma and 1 x Sour Diesel from BlimBurn. Week 3

Best advice is take it slow and dont overthink it. If you have never grown before I would start on a smaller one with only one or 2 strains . With 18 strains comes 18 if not more plants that will need slightly different care and can get very overwhelming if you dont know what to look for . Cheers

Bought from a local seed bank for the first time (trophy) and it went pretty smooth.

Just make a cage out of chicken wire for them . Once they big enough the wild cats wont be able to stop them .

Good day All My name is Richard and I am from Richards Bay (but I am not that Richard). So yeah, after 45 years I am for the first time excited about starting something. To date I have not even grown a Cactus but when it was announced that we can now legally grow Cannabis my world changed. I was saving to buy a Ski Boat but that was just so I could go smoke without having to be paranoid so I took the money and bought a lot of growing equipment and 18 strains of seeds. I have a lot to learn and cannot wait to start my Diary on this site and share my frustrations and Joy and to share the lessons I learn. I am very scientific in my approach and the Big Dream is to become known as a specialist in the field so any knowledge that you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated.

I have one of these. Pretty nifty for the initial day or 2 of drying. But like Reaf says, slow is best.

@Hochymama I got myself fully kitted Grow tents 1 80x80, 1 3Mx3M and a 120x270. Got the equipment to do DWCS, a set up to try NFT and of course I will be trying out soil. I could not find any equipment to do Airoponics but will definitely give that a try once my skills allow me to do so. I am gonna go full crazy scientist and find the best method for myself and then build around that.
