11 days later, and they both have new homes, transplanted the smaller Chem dogs 3 days ago, and the Dark Phoenix yesterday, trying to get the chems to catch up abit, but not enough to risk the DP, so I was in a bit of a debacle.

anyway, I’ll hack the DP back until I’m happy with the size of the CDs.

Veg starts now

I find the Chem crosses are a bit slower growing. Will have to wait and see if the are worth the wait. Not all of them though. My Florida Gaspack is flying.

Ya they are on a go slow, but it is freezing, I should have the heater on. Which will be done today actually.

Don’t know what time it is, but it’s Sunday.

did some topping, might consider all the lateral branching for the dark phoenix

This Chem dog better start moving soon, although I’m really getting the full indica style growth from them, which wasn’t expected but anyway. We continue on. Both under 3000k, and one has IR AND UV, Which im being very careful of, @Ill_Evan 😂

and then some outdoor fun from

we’ve got Pluto cut - auto and BOBBY’S widow - auto@SkunkPharm

aweeeh!

I've gone through so many of those clip fans 🙈

So they always break, and that's just how they made, don't think you can get them to last, but the people selling them at futurama say you suppose to have them running half the time, because it will wear them out faster if you keep them running the whole time, So I'm waiting for the last 2 I have to give in and them im going back to hanging desk fans.

@SkunkPharm says the wire wears itself out because of A the zip tie keeping the cable in place is basically strangulating the cable while oscellating and the cable is almost threaded through the neck of the grip thing and down, if you can unthread it and have it come out of the housing, it will take a lot of stress of the wiring. Maybe give that a go.

I've disassembled every one I've owned at least once during their individual lifetime in attempts to extend their use. I also find that the motor builds up a lot of fine particles along the drive shaft between the motor and the blades, which increases friction on the motor and eventually wearing it out. I had the wire issue once with a fan, and sorted that out with some new wire and some soldering.

I then ended up buying into RAM fans and I have found they work as long as you don't use the oscillation function at all...or so I thought! One of them died after maybe 3 months of just stationary work. Luckily all the RAM products come with I think 6 month warranties so I'll just keep getting them replaced until one lasts longer than the warranty 😝

yeah i got one of those ram fans... of all the things that I've bought it's gotta be the biggest disappointment. Made me very wary of ram products.

so the Chem D are somewhat ready to flower

On 2 weeks with the dark Phoenix, and the Chem D are going to sleep for 12 hours from 6am today.

they were suppose to go in on Sunday but I did a rough Defol so I decided to wait another 3 days. I think they are a lot happier now

That’s about it for now, time for the exciting bit 🎉

Week 4 for the DP and week 2 for the Chems, they both got their second top dress last week about, Temps are starting to rise.

about 30 at the peak, so hopefully we can get through without any Pest/mold issues

first 3 images is before the Defol, usually wait for 3 weeks or 4 but the bushyness was encouraging pm

The Chems are on probably their 6th Defol, they make alot of leaves dammm.

Oh yea, that space is filling up nicely! I hear ya about keeping up on the defol! Hopefully it will stay around 30c max!?
..Perhaps the powerful fans will help. 🙂

Thanks for noticing 😆😂… a little time and a little love, things happen.

I kinda had to figure out the best way to approach it having very different types of plants in the same space but I’m happy so far.

yep all fans on full speed ahead, if you can hear something resembling jet turbines in the area, no need to be alarmed, I’m just growing some weed 😆

So here we are on week 3 and 5. The plants are doing a lot better since the Defol last week, they will probably get trimmed again this weekend.

The Chem definitely has a pungent gas, piney type smell. And it stick to you, stem rub will stick around for the next couple of hours even after a hand wash.

The Dark Phoenix is much on the sweeter side, with faint Floral and citus notes, but the leaf structure is quite indica ish, not the branching. So it looks pretty cool. Got her to stack decently which I’m also happy about. Also she has a couple of orange pistols, so let’s see how she progresses
