Really wouldn't suggest this, you are far into flowering and that is huge stress.

I agree with you in regards to cutting the pot. If you put the stem between you fingers and rest your palm ion the surface of the substrate,  you can usually slip the root mass out of the pot with minimal stress using a little up and down shake.

I think that they are 11 litre pots.

I'm hoping that it will work. I'll try it later this week after feeding when they are in a better mood

11ltr pots are a fair size, i wonder if the plants being root bound actually the issue? If you remove the top layer of media can you see the root mass is woven together?

Please note: I'm a noob, but interested to learn from everyone and every situation.

This is interesting, have you reached out to the place you purchased it from?

A Mammoth should not leak light at all.

I know someone who has 2 Mammoth tents and neither leak any light. He got rid of his previous tents due to light leaks and the zips failing.

I have not, but I will be sure to mention this asap.

@felix2000 I feel there are better pots out there.

They're messy to work with and will lead to your medium drying out very quickly. It's plastic so breathable only through the big holes.

It can also make watering them a bit trickier.

If you use them and they work for you, nothing wrong with that. Personal preference plays a role for sure.

Normal plastic pots and fabric pots are what I prefer to use.

Thanks for your willingness to share. I don't use these pots, I've just seen them and always wondered about them.

They look the something you would find on the event horizon, lol!

@felix2000 i can tell you why i never ended up getting the air pots. I did some research on them and found 2 deal breakers.

Some of your medium is prone to run out the holes when watering.

And the holes on the pot allow gnats easy access to wet soil. Can imagine a fungus gnat infestation in all those little holes would be near impossible to get rid of.

    Thanks for your reply.

I don't think he expressed an opinion about airpots.
Just said he preferred Plant Matter to Freedom Farms fabric bags bru.

In saying he wouldn't, he is expressing an opinion. I'm interested to understand why @PsyCLown would rather use fabric pots. I don't have a dog in the race, I'm using 30cm pots rested in a 25ltr bucket. complete opposite side of the spectrum in terms of pots.

I wouldn't, rather stick to fabric pots.

@StonerZN up to you regarding the 20L vs 10L pots. 20L pots are easy to repurpose, 10L pots not really.

I grew my auto's in 20L pots and all went well. You do use more soil for the pot, but don't need to water as often as it will hold more water - especially important being out in the sun all day with the wind etc. etc.

FF pots are not bad, but they are not perfectly round and the soil pulls away from the sides easily and then when watering the water goes down the sides and not into the soil properly. It's just a hassle, so for around the same amount of money you can get a different brand of fabric pot which does not have this issue.

I feel the Plant Matter pots are put together better, they are more circular and the dimensions work well. They're actually 22L I believe, if you want to be precise but nobody is forcing you to fill a 20L pot. You can always use less soil if you so desire.

@PsyCLown, if you don't mind me asking, why are you not in favor of airports?

We have a good relationship between growers. I basically put out a message and the first guys that responded got in on the deal. I baught the seeds and when they paid we split the pack over coffee.

Okay cool! Sweet deal if you know whom you are buying with !

  9. Going direct is most certainly the answer, but trust is a key factor in these sorts of arrangements. I've been burned in various group buys of other species i have been growing from a number of years.

@SkunkPharm What route did your collective buying group follow? Did you all get together in person to iron out a path, or was it all online? How did the nity grits of cash collection and ordering happen? delivery/collection?

So Coco for cannabis have a nice calculator on their site:

    https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/grow-light-calculator/

Below is the size of your tent and what they recommend in terms of usable PPF:

    image_2020-10-28_092716.png.3f5b98dbaa1258fff09ba6bd3c7ec18b.png

Then below is your Quantum Board, provided it has Samsung LM301B diodes and you are running it at 240W:

    Light.PNG.fd3fc2324ffd35611c0b66733923c6f6.PNG

The umol/w figure I got from MiGro from back when he tested it - keep in mind the environment was simulating a tent.

Also I doubt you would be running it at the full 240w.

Regardless, there is a bit of a shortfall compared to the recommended PPF. 2x 240w QB's will be perfect can have them dimmed a bit then too.

Although majority of people do not want to spend the money to spec out their grow area with lights - you can still get good results, I'd say put your plants as close together as possible and as directly under the light as possible and results should be good.

I managed to fit 6x 20L pots inside a 1.2 x 0.6 tent - it was a tight fit. So your 1 x 1 tent should be quite spacious in comparison with just 4 plants inside.

Thank you for your reply. I'll look at this in depth shortly!

    From the fastbuds website:

    Plant Appearance

Some plants can grow as tall as 150cm meaning Original Auto Amnesia Haze is one of the taller autoflowering strains available. She will grow with large spacing between her internodes, and over the flowering period will develop a bushy, yet tall growth structure typical of a sativa dominant strain.

The stretch is totally natural bro, don't stress it.

Sweet. I've dropped the Nitrogen component in the formulation. Will see how she responds.

  12. 8 minutes ago, PsyCLown said:

The stretch is not a bad thing on an auto, happens often when they start flowering and can lead to a larger plant.

Then i will continue to give her the love she needs. Maybe you can help me with a question? I'm running a 240W QB in a 1m² tent. Is this  lamp enough to cover the floor space? Ideally, I'd like to have 1 pot per 1/4m²  so there is some space between them, but my mind says the plants need to be directly under the lamp...
