@StickyD420 Thanks, I watered on Friday so will not water for a couple days. Will see in the next few days if they lift , sure they so just wanted so reassurance all is going ok.
-
@Totemic Thanks, will do just that.

@GGG Do you mix Part A and B to get to the required EC levels.
-
@Totemic Great i will get distilled water to be safe and have the best possible solution.
-
Thanks, Once mixed how long can this be stored? Can one mix this, store in dark cupboard for the duration of the build?

@GGG I need to ask one question, do you mix the Calcium Nitrate all together in a 5l water or do you mix as needed. I had a look at the below link they recommend to have 3x 5l containers to mix this nitrates and use as their guidelines.

Im going to ask a stupid question, I just cant get the full understanding of the EC readings. Im currently growing my seedling in Formula 1. Have not added nutrients as yet but will need to soon. When i test my water currently the PH is around 8.5 which is easy manageable to get lower to the 6-6.5 range. My questions is when i measure my EC levels the reading is 189 us/cm and the ppm around 95ppm. So on the Hydroponics website they say the below is ideal levels. Not sure if this accurate, but they say if you multiply your ppm reading by 2 /1000 you will get your EC, this gives me EC of 0.189. Do I calculate this correct. If this is correct how do i get the reading to 1 how do i lift it from 0.189.

If I could also ask, when is it best to water. Wait for the leaves to sag , testing the soil see if its still moist or maybe a moist meter to double check?
-
I like the options, i was thinking to do a none GHE as first attempt. Then on the second do multiple seeds but run two different feeding options. As see what works better head to head.

I started of the first week to run 24/24 and change the second week to 18/6 cycle. Thanks @StickyD420 i agree dont want to rush things , rather just prepping like Im going on.

So tomorrow my seedling are hitting the 2x week mark. When do I need to introduce nutrients, do I ? I have some GHE , Seagro, Kelpak , Hortimix MKP Bloom Booster , Hortimix Powder B ( Nitogen & Calcuim) and lastly Calcium Nitrate. Went a bit over board to rather be prepared than not have anything. Using Freedom Farm F1 mix soil.

Which is correct to say that the extraction fan would bring down the RH as the temp drops, though the trick comes in bringing in that air to the space that is already at humidity you want, and not the relative temperature based humidity, as stated is more suited for human comfort and not for plant growth.
I took some time to get this right and in practice and have seen the difference first hand, and again not here to stand on toes or force my understanding on anyone else, I love a good debate and that is the only way we learn new things.
So with all this knowledge shared would it be best to bring in fresh air from outside rather then the air within the room.

Good Day Community, What is the most accurate temperature / Humidity measuring device.
Im current using the the below three devices but all their measurements are different. I want to set my controller to a perfect settings to maintain the temperature and humidity but not sure which one to believe. I have build myself a control system if you can call it that , to manage the environment so just want to make sure.
My Environment control system.
